Because our mind is setting on how much we're going to spend depending on our budget. If you're earning low, it's also going to make you adjust for what you're going for the expenses.
It's about how we manage our finances and that's why the high earners are also adjusting their lifestyle when they earn well compared in the past.

I believe, you will agree with me. Because when a person increases their financial income, their expenses will also increase. However, there is no exact guideline that one must always save. Rather, steps should be taken according to the situation. I can say from my real life experience. My monthly earnings are the same as before, but the prices of daily goods and monthly expenses have increased. Therefore, it will not be possible to save as before.

So, if financial income does not improve or increase, saving in the current context is almost difficult. Because the prices of everyday items, clothing, vehicle rentals, everything has increased. And excessive inflation has occurred, resulting in no profit from investments. Therefore, one should not be encouraged to change their lifestyle.

No matter how many apps you have in your phone and you did not put it into practice in time of spending honestly those apps will be useless which was why I agree with your point. We should always make sure we maintain our spending by doing it below what we are earning, if this is put into practice and consistently you will achieve your aims of what you want to do.
The biggest source of spending ends up being the subscriptions. Being one of the old skool internet people, I dont find problem in ignoring them, because I know how to get those stuff for free if I need to and save the possible spending from happening. Few things are necessities and you cannot do without them, those are going to be there. But choosing public transport over a car/cab and choosing to walk ~2-4km per day in two shifts makes a big difference. Cut down on all types of beverages like tea coffee and any addictive substance and you will be able to save a good amount of money.

Budgeting is a habit, you cannot start it today and expect it to work out, it will not.

Budgeting is a habit, you cannot start it today and expect it to work out, it will not.

And if it is a habit then we need to be consistent. But as humans, sometimes we fall for some mistakes and then we are back to square one with our budgeting. So it might not be easy as it sound, but there could be some individuals who dedicate their time and effort because they have that desire to make both ends meet, if you know what I'm saying.

That's why it's really very difficult for me. So I just take it like every paycheck to paycheck to see how it goes. And if there are some money left, then I will continue to invest on Bitcoin and still hold on it as long as I can.

Yes, it is very difficult to plan and stick to a single budget when the financial situation is so unstable. The prices of various goods, especially basic necessities, change very often. Wages, on the other hand, do not keep pace with this inflation, and as a result, expenses keep rising. There is also no guarantee that salaries will catch up with this price growth over time at all, which reduces the ability to save. People have no financial cushion, and they are forced to take out loans for needs that go beyond their day-to-day expenses, because budgeting for an illness, a child’s education, or the purchase of major household appliances simply isn’t possible.

That is lifestyle inflation when someone received an increased salary. There's already a distribution of that increase on their minds.
And whether they'll spend it in hobbies, luxuries or recreational, there's something in their minds on how they're going to spend it.
There's no rule that someone always save, that's true. But it will be a practice that person will realize that it should be part of their routine when they have left with no money despite of being a high earner because no one is there to save them.
Well, to each their own. If they can sustain their lives the way they live it, we're all free to do our things based on our capacity even it means being broke again because no one forces us to save and invest but only when we have faced financial trouble again.

The desire to meet end needs is the only direct access to achieving what so ever one dreams of. Even with the existence of golden opportunities it is difficult escaping poverty when the desire to utilise the opportunities present in our disposal is not their.
The greatest enemy of success in not lack of opportunities but lack of desire to work towards the part identified as the right path to success. Even without opportunity from beginning once desire to relentlessly push without giving up can touch the mind of others and make them have a rethink at a long run but if the desire to push is not present that can never be possible.

It turns out that our income dictates our expenses.  I realized that because I was earning well each month, I was indulging in more without really noticing it.
So, when you're budgeting, always look at both sides: how much you spend and how much you earn. The latter figure has a much greater impact than most people realize.
That's true, I have witnessed it even though I didn't keep track record of all my spending but I know that I spend more when I earn more. This is how it works, when you earn less you spend within your discretion in a way you don't overspend. And this makes you to always be on point in spending, And doing this does not mean you don't have Desire to spend more or afford things that you wish to, but you are doing according to your financial capacity at that moment. But when you earn more you'll definitely spend more because you will like to meet up your demand and extend hands to the things you once wished for. And moreover there is a slogan that says "more money more problem" which in actual sense it means that as your income increases so does your responsibility increases. That's why you have to spend more. And when your financial level has increased, you can never manage or maintain the level you once operated.

Having more money comes with a different kind of feelings and dealings and that is why you see most people end up over spending on things that might not be necessary at the time without them realizing it. But come to think of it, what will you have a man that have things to do with money well planned even when the money has not arrived? This is another leading cause why we spend money more whenever we earn more, there are already things to be done but we are only limited with money and when this money comes it becomes difficult to hold back and we end up seeing our self spending more.

Good that you've learnt your lesson. Budgeting is a good financial practice if you are paying attention to things. It goes beyond downloading a budgeting app. If you do not differentiate your wants from your needs, you will keep overspending even after budgeting. The best practice will be to discipline yourself no matter your income, so that even when your income increases you do not automatically increase how much you spend on things.
Discipline still remains the key in this case, since we often go against our budget. It is always easier said than done, and that's exactly why we need to apply discipline, because many people have ones taken this decision before, but due to the fact that they are not disciplined enough, they couldn't stick to their budget.

Budgeting makes things easier for us to always be on the safer side, so it's very essential for us to always maintain the process and do the needful without going against it.

I often find myself thinking about the difference between a lack of discipline and rising necessary expenses. The reality is that I live in conditions where it is extremely difficult to maintain a budget over the long term, even for just a few months. So much is constantly changing, unexpected expenses crop up, and many things are lost and need to be restored. I constantly blame myself for failing to stick to the initial budget plan, but at the same time, I realize that it simply fails to account for the current reality. If I were to stubbornly follow a plan drafted before these unforeseen circumstances arose, I simply wouldn't be able to cope with them.

Discipline as you have said is necessary and it’s also good because it might help you control yourself if you are to go out of your agreed budget, for sure but one thing I can actually tell you out of experience is there are some kind if situation you find yourself and no matter how disciplined you are or how good you have disciplined yourself you have no other option that going beyond your budget even if it means getting a loan to meet up and thats just the simple truth.

A few years ago, I noticed my money was going out incoherently. So, from that moment on, I decided to keep track of how much I was spending and on what. I downloaded a budgeting app.
I divided it into categories: public transportation, health, groceries, household items, taxis, cat, other expenses, entertainment, rent, and clothing.
And I started keeping track of it month after month. It seemed simple. But listen up. I calculated my average monthly expenses and decided that this would allow me to forecast my expenses and understand my remaining funds. But when my work and investing started to go south, I was horrified because I realized I wouldn't have enough money next month. I was very worried, because I'd been able to see how much I was spending for years (I tried to be frugal). Now I've lived through a month spending 20 percent less than usual, without restricting myself from basic needs.

Why?

It turns out that our income dictates our expenses.  I realized that because I was earning well each month, I was indulging in more without really noticing it.
So, when you're budgeting, always look at both sides: how much you spend and how much you earn. The latter figure has a much greater impact than most people realize.
Exactly mate, as most times people start spending more the moment they start earning more and the funny thing is that, they don't even know that they're already spending more and the idea of creating a chart and a spending plan will definitely help someone in a situation like this and there was also a time I was trapped in this until I lost my source of income and then I realized that, most of the things I was spending my money on wasn't worth it and  I'm grateful I learned from my mistakes.

~This is the case for sure, as I like to put it "we always live to the max of our salary".
I can vouch for this because without budgeting in the past I have always lived up to
my salary and when I got a pay rise I never actually had any extra money because
 . . . I lived up to that too.

Its very difficult because every mibute of the day we are bombarded with messages
and advertising on how we need lots of more stuff which we dont actually need.

The trick as per the OP is to create an plan, the difficult part is to stick to it!

At least we can try. After living for some time "to the max of our salary", we can see that living on 90% of it is not that difficult. Or, in other words, spending more doesn't make us any happier. For happiness, we need three things: somewhere to sleep, something to eat, and a good-paying job we enjoy, which will cover the first two. And if we have something extra, we can start budgeting for a change. Who knows, maybe life will seem brighter then?

Having more money comes with a different kind of feelings and dealings and that is why you see most people end up over spending on things that might not be necessary at the time without them realizing it. But come to think of it, what will you have a man that have things to do with money well planned even when the money has not arrived? This is another leading cause why we spend money more whenever we earn more, there are already things to be done but we are only limited with money and when this money comes it becomes difficult to hold back and we end up seeing our self spending more.
That is just it. Someone will plan their life and decide how much to spend and how much to save. But life comes with its responsibility, whereby unexpected expenses can force someone to use up all their savings, especially when one has a family or is a breadwinner. And you know emergencies don't give us notice before it comes, and they are often unavoidable. It's funny how we will work to earn money, yet how easily we spend it without any stress when working to earn it, and sometimes I just wish life is that way, where earning and spending money could be equally easy. But that's life, we keep going.

That's all......
Why would they be sacred to budget on what to spend their income on? Don't they understand the advantage is it to them if they budget. Without budgeting you will just be spending your money on random things. Sometimes you might even forget to settle your important needs. Like you said with the help of budgeting you will be able to separate your wants from needs.  Imagine the situation of a person whose income isn't that much but wants to invest through  their discretionary income. If they don't budget and cut down unnecessary expenses they won't be able to have any spare cash left for Bitcoin buying. Sometimes when they receive their paycheck the first thing they do is buy Bitcoin, then whatever is left they would use it to pay for their bills. It's a very bad move, because Without proper budgeting, even investing can become a financial burden instead of a way to build wealth.

They should be scared of spending their money on the things that are not part of their immediate expenses and budgeting. Many people does that and they don't care if they'll left with nothing after adding those additional expenses that are unnecessary. In this economy, we need to be wise and prioritize first what's needed and important before going with the wants. So, put it up first the needs and then if there's something left, then that's the time that we'll have some luxury of buying those things that we want, like a nice eat out on a fancy restaurant or some recreational activity or a one month subscription of what you like as long as it fits the budget and you have an excess to pay for.
