Another day, another hack. Can we just have one peaceful day --- every day we're just being told about this hack and that hack.

But that's how it is, the potential for hacks will always exist no matter how well they design their security --- there will always be a loophole that hackers can exploit to break into their system. Luckily, they still have a chance to move most of their assets to cold storage, otherwise it could be a huge disaster for them. Hopefully, they can solve the problem and get back to normal operations.

It has been a crazy year so far how hackers has spread their nets wide across several victims in just this year 2026. And I'm still curious who could be their next victim. However, $3m gone just like that is no joke bro, but fair enough they were able to guide up and probably move some of the funds to a more saver wallet.

In spit of what happened, I just hope they able to get through of this difficult time of theirs and bounce back to business. Is really concerning, I just pray they back in no time.

I just checked their website and it's still under maintenance. I guess they're still working to make sure their operations can run normally. But casino hacks like this have been happening more often lately. Previously, Duelbits also experienced something similar, losing $7 million from a hack on their platform, but luckily that issue has been resolved and Duelbits rebuilt their security system. So I think Gamdom will definitely fix this issue too, it's just that it might take some time for them to really make sure they can operate normally again without the risk of another security breach.

Most gamblers are losing money, I do not expect gambling sites to have high amount of money on their hot wallet. They supposed to have it on their cold wallet instead.

They need a good fund sitting on their hot wallet to instantly process a withdrawal request.  So it is normal to have millions of dollars on their hot wallet because there are whales that are playing on their platform, and the wallet should be ready anytime this whale request for a withdrawal.

Manual withdrawal is not the way to go in 2026. Even it has been a way not to go since some years ago because it will be a slow process and gambers will complain.

Thank you so much for saying this, sometimes people think this hackers are just too smart or extraordinary that is why they are able to carry out some hack and succeed, I strongly believe that any hack that they do and succeed, someone from the company who is working with the security team of that company is part of the hack, they are the ones giving vital information to this hackers.
I know that AI is also one of the reasons why this hack is becoming easier for them, but an inside maybe the one doing the main job for this hackers, this companies that has been hacked should carry out an investigation on their security team.

I would say that with the trend happening this year 2026 (which I'm afraid might continue since 2026 still has over 2 months left), could it be possible that it's also related to the increasing popularity of AI, or is it just a coincidence? Losing over $3 million is a pretty significant amount, although judging by the announcement, the operators managed to detect the suspicious activity in time and prevent further funds from being stolen.
In my opinion, what's particularly important here is that the attack specifically targeted hot wallets. Casinos need them to process deposits and withdrawals quickly, but being constantly connected to online infrastructure makes them more vulnerable.

But what interests me more is how well Gamdom will handle the aftermath of the hack. It's especially important that players don't end up dealing with their funds being frozen for a long time or facing additional withdrawal restrictions. But until there's confirmed information that customer funds are safe, I wouldn't rush to deposit large amounts there again.

Sorry if you didn't get what I mean. I know the hack resulted in a big loss but the reason I want them to be back online early is so they can recover their losses.

Those 3 days of no operations mean another huge loss in potential revenue, because based on the report I saw, they were making an estimated gross gaming revenue of $7 million per month... so that is more or less $230k+ per day, and that data is even from 2025, so it's possible that it has already increased by now.

So for 3 days of no operations, that is almost $700k in unrealized revenue.

Financial Estimates (based on their Wager promotion - King of the Hill) :

I do not know if the vulnerability to crypto platforms is now easier to read by AI or someone disguised as an employee for gaining unauthorized access? We too often get news where funds often come out without permission aka hacking.

In fact, a question arises spontaneously, why does it happen too often on Cryptocurrency Casinos?

It's normal to go for such maintenance so they can fix and certify their systems ready to serve again. It is also when to run internal investigations to attempt identifying if the threat is from within and neutralize the network so it doesn't happen again anytime soon. Most hacks work with an insider and that's why it succeeds easily. Gamdom is an old casino from what I can see, their user protection funds can cover the losses and hopefully, they'll be back shortly.

Lately I've been noticing with regret that there are a lot of hacks, now I'm definitely not an expert in the sector but could this be due to the massive use of artificial intelligence?
