Government make laws with the interest of their citizens at heart but that does not make that every law is perfect that is why they sometimes abolish laws they consider obsolete or overtaken by events. That is to say that banning gambling in certain countries may not sit well with all citizens as some person might consider gambling as something not harmful. Therefore, you will always see people that will gamble in secret even in countries where gambling is banned. Gambling sometimes should be lenient to such people if they truly respect the rights of their citizens.
We all have a different view of gambling, so as in most nations across the world, which is the main reason why you will see in some countries it is not welcome, but in some, it is welcome. I believe that in those part of the world where gambling are ban, the majority of citizens and those in government sees it as a problem, that's why action was taken against it, but in my country it's not seen as a problem, since majority of it citizens like gambling. So in case like this where majority loves gambling, it will be a serious problem if the government try to ban it.

Crypto casino's are not legal in every country, neither is it illegal in every country. A person can access a casino website without being legally authorised to do so by the government. Doesn't mean what he is doing is illegal. Only case when it is, is when it is specifically said by the government it is.
Likewise a casino can offer service of gambling and not he restricted to do so by a country. It's only strict countries that see it as illegal because they have laws governing them.
Honestly, users should not just use a casino but should verify whether their country has given them the jurisdiction to do so. That way if anything happens, you can easily run to your regulator to make complaint.

It is not every country that crypto casinos are allowed to operate. I believe every country has laws that regulate how casinos are to operate, there are countries that allows online gambling while others may ban or restrict it. The fact a particular casino accepts bitcoin doesn't mean that they are allowed to operate legally. Before making use of any casino, it is important to check if such a casino has the license to operate in your country . Having access to a casino platform doesn't automatically makes the casino legal to be used, as there are many casino that are operating without a proper license.

Are crypto casinos legal in every country?
The use of cryptocurrency does not automatically make an online casino legal. How do gambling laws, licensing requirements, and local restrictions affect access to crypto casinos?
Getting a casino license in my country is not something you have to lineup to get but you must be ready to pay heavy task that can make your company go bankrupt if you don't have adequate capital. You will have pay tax for everything you are doing especially if you are making use of cryptocurrency as a company or individual but the law is not yet in operation until the current president update his seat. Crypto regulation is not supposed to be complex at all because we are making use of cryptocurrency as a form of investment and transactions. If the government has the crypto users in heart, the will make everything easy for us.

Some countries regulate or ban online gambling based on their local laws, regardless of whether players deposit with fiat or crypto, and most crypto casinos operate under offshore licenses (like Curaçao, Anjouan, etc.) have restricted countries.
They already have the laws but how about the enforcement? Is it effective? I guess not. Look at these countries, Thailand and Indonesia, they have clear laws against gambling, and yet illegal gambling is still high. So it's up to the government whether they can enforce those laws or not, because a law is just a piece of paper without effective enforcement. Personally for me, it’s not all government laws that will actually favour everyone, and that’s why they often review or change some laws when it’s necessary. Banning gambling doesn’t mean that everyone will stop to gamble, because some people will still find means to gamble secretly. I believe government are suppose to consider regulation and responsible gambling rather than total ban, they still need to protect those that gambling are harmful too. The government banning gambling in their jurisdiction is one step taken to protect the gamblers from those harm. If the gamblers after seeing that the government has banned gambling or a particular casino, still goes ahead to gamble through other means, the gamblers will take responsibility for the risks involved and protect themselves from any harm. We can only be be demanding protection from the government if they legalised gambling and are earning revenue from gambling through taxation. Since they gave the gamblers the freedom to gamble, they should also make their protection a priority. If the government wants, it can do everything. If the government of a country is good, then it can control the development of that country and everything in that country. But if the government of a country is involved in corruption, then the development of that country will never be seen and there will be no control of the government anywhere. So every person needs to elect the right government. If the government takes strict measures for gambling, for example, if gambling is legal in a country, then the government will have complete control. Every person can gamble with 10% of their income and they will not be able to gamble more than this amount every month. If the government can adopt this kind of method, then it is possible to keep every gambler under control.

Are crypto casinos legal in every country?
It depends on what kind of a casino it is, because even though the quantity is pretty low, but decentralized casino platforms can exist as well just like decentralized exchanges or swaps, and for those platforms, there can basically be no geographical restrictions unless the government bans them so that the people within their countries don't get to access the, otherwise, they won't need any license to provide services to people in a country, and they can be used globally without any problems. However, when it comes to centralized platforms, since they have to be regulated and licensed, it is not possible for them to operate within a country without getting regulated or getting a valid license to operate within that jurisdiction. The use of cryptocurrency does not automatically make an online casino legal. How do gambling laws, licensing requirements, and local restrictions affect access to crypto casinos?
As I said, locally restricting casino platforms is not that big of a problem for the government as long as they know their websites and everything, because they can ban their access for their people, can be accessed through VPNs or proxies, but then if the casino asks you for KYC since it is regulated and centralized, you will end up getting your account blocked and funds seized because you can't complete KYC from a country which is restricted.

But I will speak on behalf of all gamblers in countries where gambling is banned. Their citizens want to gamble. They don't really see gambling as a problem until the government decides to ban gambling because of what it brings to society. In those countries, gambling attracts illegal gambling, and these minor occasions of gangsters and drug dealers. Including sex trafficking in illegal casinos is the main reason why the government is taking action to curb corruption by laying a ban on gambling.

If the government takes strict measures for gambling, for example, if gambling is legal in a country, then the government will have complete control. Every person can gamble with 10% of their income and they will not be able to gamble more than this amount every month. If the government can adopt this kind of method, then it is possible to keep every gambler under control. Why do you think that the gamblers will be okay with this 10% restriction? Remember that different gamblers have different levels of income and financial responsibilities. To someone, 10% cap may just be a motivation for them to spend more of their money and to others, 10% could be too small an amount to gamble with. If the government really wants to be involved, these are not the kinds of things it should concern itself with. They can try to protect vulnerable gamblers by holding the casinos and other gambling operators accountable. But then, if a government wants to ban gambling, they have their reasons and it is not enough to view them as corrupt. Just like I have said earlier, if gambling is legal, the government can be made to show concern for the gamblers welfare. You are not entirely wrong about electing good leaders, because it is only a good leader that will be interested in the gamblers welfare. Others will only care about revenue.

Speaking of Russia, there's no such thing as a separate concept as "cryptocasino." The use of cryptocurrency as a means of payment for goods and services is prohibited in Russia. The ruble is the primary currency in Russia. Therefore, if a casino accepted cryptocurrency deposits, it would immediately become illegal. In Russia, I repeat, using cryptocurrency as a legal tender is prohibited; however, the exchange, sale, and purchase of cryptocurrency are permitted. Tax legislation recognizes cryptocurrency as property, so income from transactions with it is taxable. Overall, Russia isn't particularly friendly to either cryptocurrency or casinos.

Thanks for the clarification, but I have a question, what if Russian people are able to access offshore casinos and use cryptocurrency for gambling, would that still count as a violation of the law. If so, how does the Russian government deal with that?

Are crypto casinos legal in every country?
The use of cryptocurrency does not automatically make an online casino legal. How do gambling laws, licensing requirements, and local restrictions affect access to crypto casinos?
The interesting thing is that both crypto and online casinos are illegal in our country. Yet people are using both of them, the main reason for this is that technology cannot be stopped. No matter how many regulations or laws come, people will use technology. However the problem is that since it is illegal, we do not get any legal help and sometimes we have to face legal complications due to this illegality. For example many times our bank account is frozen if we make crypto transactions. And the same thing is true for casinos. However, if we think about it this way in a country where crypto is legal but crypto casinos are illegal, if there is any casino related problem, the laws of that country will not be able to provide any solution.

Most government regulates gambling when they see people are getting addicted or when it's affecting the government. Some government deliberately allow people to gamble because they failed to do their jobs. Like my country for example, most of the youths gamble for survival, if they are been offered jobs they are going to stop gambling. The government wanted to implement a law that mandate everyone to pay their tax but they later stop it because they know if they implement it, many youths will stop gambling and that will bring them back to them, more youths are going to stay on the streets doing nothing. If the government want to regulate gambling, they should be fair with their policies. As long as it's not for religious concern, the government doesn't have to ban gambling completely or restrict people of their fundamental human right. Gambling is not a crime to begin with, it's a choice and each gambler answers to how they play it.

Are crypto casinos legal in every country?
The use of cryptocurrency does not automatically make an online casino legal. How do gambling laws, licensing requirements, and local restrictions affect access to crypto casinos?
There are quite a few countries where gambling is banned entirely like Saudi Arabia and Singapore. Generally crypto casinos will just ban access to these places via geoblocking if they are trying to be responsible, but others leave it up to the customer to abide by their own laws. If the casino wants to operate in certain jurisdictions like Europe, then it might choose to only be accessible to certain countries because some EU countries have very tight requirements like local licensing. In reality most crypto sites don't especially care where their customers live and will take anyones money, but the one big country I've seen them avoid is the US. America has powerful regulators and has targeted individual company owners in the past when they have tried to skirt around the laws on US citizens. You might even find that certain provinces and cities have their own restrictions, but they are limited in their ability to enforce them.

Crypto casino is legal in every country where gambling is legal.
I do not agree with this conclusion. Just because any country allow gambling doesn’t mean it allows every type of casino and gambling operation. There are many other thing involved, including legality of gambling, regulation concerning cryptocurrency and licensing requirement for operator. Consider a country where licensed land based casino and legally regulated sportsbook are allowed to operate. Offshore crypto casino are not necessarily covered by same authorization. Any jurisdiction has its own rule for online gambling. That cover licensing, business registration, permitted payment method and many more. Yes, that's true! For example, in my country, only offline casinos with a national license are legal. These legal casinos are located strictly within four regional zones. Gambling is prohibited in the capital and other major cities in the central part of the country. 🙋 Online casinos with offshore licenses (Curaçao, Anjouan) are also illegal in my country. Their websites are blocked. However, there are no sanctions for gamblers who gamble. This distinguishes my country from other countries, where gamblers can even be imprisoned for gambling. Some countries only allow state-owned casinos. Some countries only allow casinos with a national license. Each country creates its own legal framework for regulating gambling. There are no international regulations in this area. Perhaps they will appear in a few years, when the world becomes globalized again. As we understand it, creating such international regulations is currently impossible. 🧑💻 The terrible part of my country is the one that yours allow, we have a 15k dollar fine for anyone who gambles in illegal websites. So if you go gamble at Stake, for example and my government finds out, then you are out 15k dollars and have to pay that fine. And it also grows much larger when you repeat, not with each bet, of course, but with each fine. It means, you go gamble, you get caught, you pay 15k, then you keep gambling, and get caught again, this time it's not 15k, but something like 40k, and it grows larger and larger that way, I am not sure if there is even a cap, like maybe it reaches millions? I have no idea. That is why people usually try to gamble at legal casinos; we have a lot of legal stuff online, so people just prefer those. Honestly, I'd like to live in a world where cryptocurrency and gambling are never legalized! I'd like the virtual world to be a place of absolute freedom. After all, the internet as we know it wasn't created by governments, but by ordinary people who wrote code and filled the virtual world with various content. Don't government officials already have enough taxes and fees to collect from real-world objects? 🙋 That's a rhetorical question... I know the answer. Government officials are incredibly greedy. They're always short of money, and they want more and more. In my opinion, the ideal situation is for cryptocurrency and online casinos to operate in a gray area, with the government not regulating these activities at all. In my country, online casinos are banned, and online casino sites are blocked, so the government doesn't fine players. If we had legal online casinos with a state license, we would be fined too. Because it's through fines and criminal prosecution that government officials fight competitors who interfere with their income. As we all know, an official's income comes from the state budget. 💰
