Here are the few things I believe AI will remove for an average user; self blame, fatigue, dopamine chase, and compulsion. If AI gets better or user friendly for players in a way that the gambler gets to do other things while AI fulfils all other tasks like the mental work, it'll go a long way in shaping the way gamers think about gambling.
The best I can see AI handle for us is doing an analysis job for us. Other than that, our brain will still have to handle the emotional stress, the trouble when your bet is not going as predicted and whatever money-losing negative effect can leave on us which self-control and personality now determine how well we can deal and react to our gambling result.
Because in the end using AI doesn't guarantee you're ahead of your playmates much less of the casino. If a casino integrates AI into its system, it means it isn't a threat to their revenue. Otherwise, it wouldn't even be considered at all.
Other than that, your AI losing doesn't mean you aren't involved at all. Your AI is betting your money. And so it's still very possible that chasing losses could still happen. The AI handle or agent doesn't truly care about your money. All it does is analyze and play. If your money is taken from what should've been intended for bills, your AI couldn't care less.
"Self blame, fatigue, dopamine chase, and compulsion" may, therefore, remain. "Emotional stress" will be yours, too. AI doesn't experience that.
