I love this league, if anyone recalls Sportsbet's old Soccer Blackjacks, we had a lot of fun and I believe a few hits came from this league. Was also my first meet with the old SB guys (Flamengo) and watching them get beat by Liverpool. Sweet memories, oh that team with Bobby!

I don't know if you guys usually bet on the Brazilian league, but get ready, it's chaos

I started following a bit after some clubs showed decent performances throughout the Club World Cup.
I see that it's really close every season and even the winning teams lose/draw a lot. Seems incredibly competitive.

I have to say that I liked the odds though - home teams mostly over 2 odds.

I posted my bet and predictions, and I have to say I had a really hard time deciding which games to choose even though I only parlayed two games to start with. I chose two clear favorites (or at least favorites on paper) but I suspect things won't be that easy.

Same here. I have absolutely no knowledge of this league either, so I guess I'll have to rely on chatgpt lol or the current table/team standing, and the odds in the market. The prizepool is pretty decent eventhough quite a lot of users have already joined. We're already on page 2 of the entry list, so 20+ users already.. Anyway Good luck to all of us and may the best sprinter win!

I'm in! Great to see return of Sportsbet to Bitcointalk with a contest. I missed them a lot. I already thought that I missed deadline, but fortunately it's 20:00 UTC, not my local time or something.
Offcourse, Brazilian Serie A is less known for most of us than European leagues. But it's only non-European league that I follow a bit. I even watched Mirassol - Internacional last night, don't ask why

Good comparison with championship. There is no dominating force, lot of similar level teams. It would be difficult to find other league with so many different champions in last 10-15 years.

Thank you for tagging me, Trofo. To be sincere, I have not watched the Brazilian league before, not even a game from that league. I can only think of Neymar playing for Santos FC because he is one player that I love watching. But I only watch the game highlights; I watch him. Participating in this league pool will be more fun than hoping to win. But let's see how things go

You're right, the competition is getting fierce with so many participants on board already, which makes the 28 mBTC prize pool even more exciting. Unfortunately, my first Multi 5 slip didn't hold up—Brazilian leagues always manage to throw a few surprises when you least expect it!!!

I'm so unlucky with Fluminense, their impressive home record made me think it should've ended in a win or, at most, a draw.

I could've gained two points if they recovered to a 2-2 draw, but I guess their tough schedule shook them up since they've played against two of the best teams in their league.

Yes but i think this was a "easy" round, since a lot of team play against very weak rivals and most of the teams didnt fail to achieve their predicted wins. Aside of it im one of the users who win the ticket but i dont think im gonna be between the winners of the round (or maybe yes) since i went with a not so high odds, but i also didnt check how much odds have the other users in their bets, in the questions i also dont fully check it all i only know i have the point from the paranaense player not scoring.

Many probably played it safe since its a league that not many are familiar with. I know I did play probably even too safe, need to take more risk in order to finish top 5.

Hah, I had no idea that Seedorf is a coach there. What a weird choice for such a big club, since I see that he didn't coach anyone since 2019. Let's hope that he doesn't change their luck.

1.50 odds requirement is low. I made simple bet just to be eligible for requirement. But I looked at other bets and mostly you can see quite high winning odds. Over 2 or 3, but you have done most impressive with 5.36 odds. And it really paid off for you, especially when you haven't done good at quiz.
