⚽🏆Sportsbet's Brazilian Serie A Sprint Race - 28 mBTC prize pool🏆⚽

[cryptofrka]

Wow
The way I see it, if I win my bet, I’ll come in first
If I lose the bet, I’ll lose first place, too

Now it all depends on my favorite team Corinthians, which hasn’t won a single game in the league in 8 matches, with a new coach (Seedorf)
Hahahaha

What an interesting situation

Nope, if your betslip hits you'll be 5th (and win a 20$ freebet). If it does not, you'll be out of the top 5.

__________________________

Had no idea Seedorf was even coaching. Last I remember him was at Cameroon a long time ago.
He was a terrible manager and I doubt that he improved drastically since then - so good luck to your winless team I guess

1.50 odds requirement is low. I made simple bet just to be eligible for requirement. But I looked at other bets and mostly you can see quite high winning odds. Over 2 or 3, but you have done most impressive with 5.36 odds. And it really paid off for you, especially when you haven't done good at quiz.

It is like that on purpose. You have to chase higher odds if you want to place near the top of the leaderboard.

[arallmuus]

-snip

Looking at the spreadsheet, you're on pace to start at the top.

I didnt even realize that there is a spreadsheet for this and it seems I won the first place.

Well its good to know because I thought I was dreaming when I check the announcement post like 12 hours ago, I could have sworn the winners was already announced but the post was gone

Really? After seeing your bet slip, I thought you knew the most about the Brazilian Serie A among all the participants. Because you had placed a bet of 2 mBTC on it.

2 mbtc is a peanut for him, You should have seen him splurge atleast $500 on betslip that he is confident with 😅

I think I'm the one with the lowest knowledge about this league. Still, I have decided to take part in it since the requirement is easy. Luckily, I have won my bet for event 1.

Man Im not sure if you are being humble with this post but you won on 5.36x odds betslip. Thats the highest of everyone that won their betslip. If you had gotten 2 more points on the questions, you would have taken the 1st spot as well. Thats a solid start

[mikel_012]

Many probably played it safe since its a league that not many are familiar with. I know I did play probably even too safe, need to take more risk in order to finish top 5.

It was my first bet in any pool so I was very safe to try to understand the game and the mechanics. Of course I won the slip but did not do any good in the questions or with high odds for extra points.

I will see if I can be more bold for the next times

Oh sorry, my bad
When I read that you were waiting for the round to end and mentioned Riakfip and me, I thought we were both in first place, hahaha
I admit I didn’t see the points of all the users to know exactly where everyone stood

In the next round, I need to pay closer attention to my odds
A really good odds pick will make all the difference in the end

And it’ll be Seedorf’s first game
You better get used to it, Corinthians makes a lot of mistakes when signing players, which is why they’re almost in the relegation zone

[Rikafip]

And it’ll be Seedorf’s first game

Fortunately for me, the "Seedorf effect" wasn't enough for Corinthians to win, meaning I'm ending up 5th after the 1st round.

At least they made some progress under him, as with a draw they finally broke their run of 6 league losses in a row. Not that it's much consolation for you though.

Yep, I did delete it immediately though - and hoped the tag won't reach you

There is a spreadsheet, you can always track how the event's going.
It is also in the 3rd post of the thread, same style as in BSFL.

With Corinthians messing it up for rdluffy we can finally announce the top 5:

The winners of the 1st event are:

🥇 1st place: 1.25 mBTC + 5 leaderboard points - arallmuus
🥈 2nd place: 0.75 mBTC + 4 leaderboard points - Cointxz
🥉 3rd place: 50$ freebet + 3 leaderboard points - Mahdirakib
🏵 4th place: 30$ freebet + 2 leaderboard points - mv1986
🏵 5th place: 20$ freebet + 1 leaderboard points - Rikafip

arallmuus - please send us your BTC wallet.
The freebets will be credited in a day or two.

Congrats, next one will be posted at the end of the week.

Yep, but 2 mBTC on 5.07× odds for this event was quite surprising to me. I believe he will win with some juicy bet slip during this event.

I'm not trying to be humble here. I just followed the odds and placed bets on the favourites. I had a little doubt about Palmeiras, but included them in my bet slip by doing some checks. My actual knowledge about Brazilian Serie A reflects in the answers of the questions .

It all depends on how good I am doing in some time period or what else I need money for. I use betting bank and scale my stakes as units in regards to it. 150$ is actually my minimum bet at the moment, in other words 1 unit. My regular bet is 5-7 units while my maximum is 10 if I am really confident about something.

If I am doing well, betting bank goes up, units are worth more. If I am doing worse the other way around. Beauty of the system is you can't hit 0 ever, and works for any bank. Gambling is all about self limits and money management at least for me.

Congrats, next one will be posted at the end of the week.

The players who finished 1st and 2nd this game week already have a huge advantage for this tournament already. Praying their luck doesn’t continue. Haha just kidding.. Congrats, arallmuus and Cointxz!

I guess no more random answers for me from now on. Time to make smarter picks so I can catch up.

[BABY SHOES]

I guess no more random answers for me from now on. Time to make smarter picks so I can catch up.

My answer this time is not so bad 1/5 is the correct answer... what's more difficult is chasing points in the parlay, I don't really know more Brazilian league matches, so now I have to delve into the upcoming matches first, because the one that increases the points more, is from the parlay.

[rdluffy]

--> be me
--> a long-time bettor on the Brazilian league
--> watch the team fail to win a single game in 9 rounds
--> lose the bet, finish outside the top 5, and watch the team only draw

Not easy to bet on brazilian league, you guys will see with time hehehe

See all of you next round

[Rikafip]

Just to notify you guys that freebets have been credited.

That's why I was pretty sure that you gonna take that 5th spot, but as you said, Braziilian league is something else. Worst of all, you have to take a lot of risk if you want to have any chance of finishing at the top of the round.

🥇 1st place: 1.25 mBTC + 5 leaderboard points - arallmuus

Congratulations to all the winners but more for arallmuus, what a week for you mate, you win here and you also won in the crossleague.

Is crazy to see when this kind of things happens, when we won something the chances of winning right after seems to increase sometime, and after it it comes the bitter side maybe a long dry season, but that is not gonna happen to you right?.

In my case i ahve to aim for better odds in this contest, since i won my bet but i ended up outside the top 5.

[Trofo]

Hey guys, new event is out
⚽⚽Event #2 of Sportsbet's Brazilian Serie A Sprint

Tagging everyone one more time since the deadline for Round 1 was a bit short and the same thing happened again here with bitcointalk being down most of the day yesterday. This is the last "big" tag we will do. After this one, all the tags will be just for the people that actually participated in this contest.
