In many if not all underdeveloped and developing countries, politics has the views and consideration that has made it the greatest enemy to the country at large. One of the painful view is that politics can change someone's lifestyle from poor or average to rich in a very short time another is that politics is a dirty game that should be played very dirty and many more.
Overnight success are usually one of the common things which makes the politicians in such category not willing think of the truth talk more of upholding it, in that politics pays there bill legitimately and illegitimately. That's they become direct energy to their nation and also anything that has to do with truth. People becomes enemies of the truth when politics pays their bills.
Anybody who becomes rich overnight through political position is a thief. Politicians' earnings are that high in my country. Some civil servants earn more than politicians because of the remuneration structure. However, many politicians become rich immediately after they take power because they steal from public coffers.
In my country, politicians allocate mouthwatering bonuses to themselves. They use these bonuses to increase how much they earn. If have told people that if you want to get the best leaders, make political position none lucrative. Lawmaking should be a part-time job, and the bonuses should be reduced. If this happens, politics will become a clean game since only those who want to serve the country will contest elections.
In today's political space, lying is a highly needed skill to survive. Politicians are the biggest liars and deceivers.
