We can’t dispute the fact that AI agents are expanding and their capability when put into good use will be useful to humans, but there are areas in which we should never give room for AI to handle, which is wallet creation or managing our assets. They will always keep logs and history, and when their data is being hacked, your funds end up in the hands of another.
We can deploy it in other areas, which can help. I can also use it to make trading predictions and research, maybe some trading signals, but that should be the end of it in that financial area.

I have to admit that I was probably wrong before and 'AI' does have some useful ness. But in many situations related to Bitcoin, it is only useful if there is also a partial human input next to it.
It may be able to detect some vulnerabilities. But that requires another human input to check if it is even a valid vulnerability. Because if you have ever used an 'AI' agent before, you definitely noticed that it is a 'yes man' for the most part and responds with 100 percent certainty that the final answer is definitive and provable. It only needs a 'you are wrong' response and it will stop making sense, and you will start asking your self whether it has ever even told the truth so far.
It may be useful in a lot of situations. A developer may have an idea but may not know yet how to write it down and integrate that in the source code. Or. They may know how to, but it would take a LONG time from start to finish. An 'AI' agent could help create a code with probably a lot of bugs in it, but it may be easier to fix a handful of bugs than to write it all from zero.
Think about it this way. Say you wanted to develop the Privacy side of Bitcoin. You could ask the 'AI' agent to write you as many ideas and scratch codes for them, until you find one that may actually work. It would take very long for a human to do what it could do in minutes or even seconds.
On the other hand. Having 'AI assistance' for Bitcoin Wallets would be an absolute disaster and it would screw up too many people. There are enough guides around us, and there is enough information for people who have no knowledge at all, all the way up to the nerds who want to know a lot more than the average person is interested in. A generated text to help with a complex set up, I would never want that for me or for any body else.

I believe basically that their role will be everything where Bitcoin companies employed "real" people for repetitive tasks until recently -- with the exception of security relevant tasks where an AI "hallucination" would be a disaster.
But I find it hard to find real world examples. Yes, trading is perhaps one, if we imagine some kind of "crypto fund", but that kind of fund isn't really that much a thing in the crypto space, and you don't really need AI to "rebalance" these funds if they are governed by strict rules (e.g. these "altcoin top 10 funds" or so). Personal wealth management is an example of course but it can also go terribly wrong.
Perhaps a even better (and more terrifying) example is chain analysis. AI agents may develop new strategies to detect which wallets and addresses form part of a cluster. Of course they can hallucinate too, and perhaps completely innocent people thus will be now even more in danger to be detected with some kind of "AML problem" ...
And as @Smartprofit said AI agents are another thing than chatbots, they are meant to operate autonomously for some time even if they internally use a similar tech than chatbots, so they will not be used for "assistance" or "customer support" because that is chatbot territory (with human input for every task or step).
So to answer the question, we could also ask "what Bitcoin-related tasks would I like an AI to perform regularly, but knowing the danger that it may mess up everything if it hallucinates?"

I don't think AI agents will necessarily need to control wallets or predict Bitcoin's price to be useful. Helping users to detect suspicious transactions, identify common scam patterns, explain wallet security or simplify the process of running a Bitcoin node I think will be helpful enough to Bitcoiners.
The scepticism for a lot of us about these AI tools is that they don't end up becoming another security risk. No matter how helpful they tend to be, they mustn't be allowed access to private keys or unrestricted control over funds so they don't end up becoming a major security threat. Yes, they can be helpful but their help shouldn't have anything to do with control.

For beginners, I think AI agents can be very useful. When many of us were first introduced to Bitcoin, we needed to make so much effort and research to learn the basics of Bitcoin but today, AI tools can assist in giving detailed explanation of how transactions are made, how to setup up wallets, how transactions fees are charged in simple terms that a newbie will not find it difficult to understand.
However, a newbie that's using AI to learn about Bitcoin is also supposed to know about the dangers of using AI so they don't end up entrusting AI agents full control of their funds.
Such situation might not pose immediate security threat but on the long run, it might expose their security details to a third-party which could be very costly and we know Bitcoin doesn't have customer service that that reverses confirmed transactions.

Sometimes we ask for help because we actually need it, but sometimes, we just ask for help because we’re lazy, and the moment the whole thing go south we tend to end up with regrets, and you’ll be like “I could have just done it myself “. Not even in my dreams will I buy such an idea because behind every Ai is a creator. And having your informations especially your financial life disclosed to Ai, can ridicule you by just a hold on your gadgets. Ai never forgets, it has every information about you, that you ever provided it saved that the day your will ever ask for it, it will unfold in just a blink of an eye, and where the tragedy lies is that you’ll not be the one to ask for it. I believe all the things you stated is what we can do for ourselves, Ai is good I’ll not lie but the moment you’re carried away by it goodness to this extent may in turn leave you vulnerable to a point where robbing you may not even require hacking.

Now that AI is everywhere, what do you think would be AI agents' role in Bitcoin? Would they assist users in creating "complex" wallets (multi-sig, time-locked BTC, etc)? Or what about giving us advice when or how to trade Bitcoin? Like making up a trading strategy you would follow to successfully make a profit with BTC? The possibilities are endless. We would have something like an AI chatbot, paid for with Bitcoin (credits or subscription).
Wouldn't that be nice? Or is this a terrible idea? Feel free to share your opinion below. Thanks.
You don't need to automate multisig or time-lock BTC with AI. You don't need AI at all. Bro, the reality here is so different. In reality, all the scripts that could easily automate most tasks are being combined with AI, and then they sell their SaaS in the name of AI, which is really not so great. Because first, they insert scripts into their tools that anyone can create for their own work. Then they launch that app and name it something like xxxAI, and that becomes AI integration haha. And bro, AI can give you advice, but it will always give you disclaimers, and you can't trust it completely.

It would be insane if we can get an ai agent that would allow for payments or spendings of any kind, no matter currency the payment is being made into. Even better if it can do conversions at cost. That would work better for Bitcoin adoption. The process has to be very seamless for both users and merchants too as that would be the only way to onboard both.

For setting up wallet and security, it's terrible idea. There is a high chance that you accidentally leaked private key in the process of setting up multisig if you delegated fully to the AI, every bits of text you send to the AI is recorded on the server after all, even I wouldn't trust ZDR (Zero Data Retention) AI provider. However, for creating trading strategy and second opinion for trading, it's surprisingly good. I think in the future AI could help handle your daily chore such as paying bills, buying tickets, and many things automatically using bitcoin through L402 that uses HTTP 402 status code. It's going to be interesting future, that's for sure.

If it's just as a 'chatbot' where you ask about things needed to set something up, that shouldn't be a problem. Although you also need to look at more sources to make sure what you're doing is correct. But trusting it completely to handle tasks like creating a wallet is just a bad idea. You shouldn't trust AI with something as sensitive as your wallet. Or what about giving us advice when or how to trade Bitcoin? Like making up a trading strategy you would follow to successfully make a profit with BTC?
For that part, it might be possible. But we shouldn't have too high expectations because AI's capabilities are limited; it's not a tool that can guarantee profit. It can also make mistakes and is prone to errors, especially since the market moves dynamically so it can't predict every market movement for sure. So, AI is more appropriately used as support rather than relying on it completely.

With AI agents, we can let them analyze our transactions, investments, or trading, so they could give realistic advice, it's not just a question and answer thing, it should be backed by data from your historical records.

I just see it as people making fun of the situation because AI is said to be taking over nothing else.

Perhaps a even better (and more terrifying) example is chain analysis. AI agents may develop new strategies to detect which wallets and addresses form part of a cluster. Of course they can hallucinate too, and perhaps completely innocent people thus will be now even more in danger to be detected with some kind of "AML problem"
The biggest question to consider with regard to agents is the level to which they would be given power to act on insights without meaningful human review. Flagging indirect interaction with illegal services can already lead to false positives for blockchain analytics companies such as Chainalysis and Elliptic, which use clustering methods and risk scores to identify connections between different crypto wallets. But automatically freezing accounts or escalating cases is a whole new ball game. Making a wrong identification is bad enough, but automating decisions based on it makes things even worse. So to answer the question, we could also ask "what Bitcoin-related tasks would I like an AI to perform regularly, but knowing the danger that it may mess up everything if it hallucinates?"
I think a useful filter here is, in addition to how bad the mistake would be, how quickly it could be detected before it did damage. An automated trading program making a mistake is likely to show up in the returns pretty quickly. If a chain analysis program mistakenly flags a wallet address as being linked with criminals, this may have much harder to reverse outcomes, such as frozen funds or regulatory checks. Fully autonomous chain analysis programs sound scary AF.
