There are numerous good sides of the AI agents and it is used in almost all our daily internet activities. If we look at the dark side of AI, the need of using it to create crypto wallets is not going to be a good idea in the long run, but in terms of security supports while creating these wallets will be resourceful. AIs should have limited/no access to our financial activities at anytime. Knowing how to prompt it is good as it can help in a lot of ways, but granting it access to your finances is unethical.

The criteria for usefulness are variable, like individual needs; in a way, it's something personal in terms of the intended use, which can then have implications for the community.

But in general, it's like having applications similar to those used for other payment methods. I think it would be exceptional in the case of LN, without excluding regular transactions.

AI agents are really useful in the field of learning Bitcoin, in the field of price monitoring and data analysis, but in the field of creating "complex" wallets (multi-signature, time-locked Bitcoin, etc.) I don't think they can be trusted.

An AI agent cannot be trusted to create highly sensitive items, such as wallets; for one thing, it is prone to making mistakes, and furthermore, what guarantee is there that the operators of these intelligent bots do not gain access to the information?

Wouldn't that be nice? Or is this a terrible idea? Feel free to share your opinion below. Thanks.

AI is currently helping people a lot, but not about the future. Any information can be obtained with the help of AI at any time if needed. It gives people a good idea about their business, how to be profitable and helps any person in their work and makes any difficult task easier. AI is quite interesting to me, but it will help people more in the future so it can gain more popularity.
Any information about Bitcoin can also be obtained from AI, so I think it is suitable to help more in the future.

We can’t ignore the fact that AI has become a part of our everyday lives and industries as well. It’s an advantage to learn how to prompt and use AI to get the best results. That being said, AI is already being used in the bitcoin space. A few months ago, I read a thread about someone who used Claude AI to recover the password of his bitcoin wallet. Imagine if the guy was hell bent on not using AI, his bitcoins may be lost for good.

What I'm keen to see is how thry impact mining and make it alot easier for miners. I will prefer this offer over one unnecessary comparison between AI and also Bitcoin mining. I don't know what other solutions they solve but then, if they can truly help secure bitcoin wallet addresses so as to see that they are not easily attacked and the bitcoin investment of investors stolen  it will really make a lot of sense. I believe more real life impacts of AI on Bitcoin and cryptocurrency will be brought to light around the various continents. As for families who struggle with holding their bitcoins, I feel they should be be getting an innovation which solves that.

Now that AI is everywhere, what do you think would be AI agents' role in Bitcoin? Would they assist users in creating "complex" wallets (multi-sig, time-locked BTC, etc)? Or what about giving us advice when or how to trade Bitcoin? Like making up a trading strategy you would follow to successfully make a profit with BTC? The possibilities are endless. We would have something like an AI chatbot, paid for with Bitcoin (credits or subscription).

Wouldn't that be nice? Or is this a terrible idea? Feel free to share your opinion below. Thanks.
AIs are evolving and are learning from feedback. I asked an AI to help me edit my PDF file, it couldn't, it kept on OCRing the file, until I gave it a precise instructions, it then apologized for the previous mistake but told me it couldn't. I then asked it to look for a way, which it then took 3 steps to finally get me my desired result.

Most AI models can learn from feedbacks and are also evolving. In the future, it will be much more reliable in different fields and aspects of life. Before using an AI to optimize and speed up processes, you should have a considerable amount of knowledge in that process so as to easily id whatever mistake. And besides, there is often a warning on almost all AI models I've used, which is: AI can make mistakes, make sure to verify the information it gives. If we follow this warning, AI can most definitely be a very useful tool in every aspect of our lives. And I'll also advise to learn and understand prompting too, cause this can also refine the type of output/answer/data you get.

Concerning these two links, the first link: with or without an AI, the coldcard vulnerability exists either way; sooner or later, an ambitious hacker would've figured it out and done something similar with or without an AI. AI didn't create that vulnerability, humans did. And if they had used an AI to figure it out first, then we would've been applauding and not criticizing AIs, I guess.

And the second link was just blown out of proportion, it's not like an unthinkable thing happened. The sandbox had a loophole which was exploited by an AI model that is trained to exploit loopholes. It's like you lit a match and got surprised it created a fire.

AI are not dark, it does what you command it. I don't mean the public AI agents that controls and restict users of the way they use them, I mean the private AI agents you can host locally on your machine, it will do everything as toy instructed. However, what I'm not sure is what will come if a hacker is able to hack your AI. If you use AI to create wallet, create transaction and many dangerous command, you can lose everything with one click if anyone is able to reach it.

It's good to explore AI but I will be cautious with Bitcoin wallet. I am going to prefer the traditional style of handling things instead of relying on artifical intelligence. Maybe AI can be useful for other things like security, check Bitcoin protocols. Some devs have reported that they have review Bitcoin code with AI are unable to see any vulnerability, I think this is one of the best use of AI.

Sure, local AI is probably safer, in theory. There is still an attack vector though, and anyone that breaks into your computer would then have control of anything that AI agent can do, which includes creating crypto wallets and signing crypto transactions. Youre adding an extra layer of software that you have to trust. Bitcoin has traditionally favored the boring, slow path of fewer software layers and private keys stored offline, boring approaches which tend to fail less often when there is money on the line.

I see more potential for AI use in crypto in analyzing protocols, reviewing code, threat modeling etc. than for key management or transaction signing.

We are constantly observing the improvement of AI technology. Earlier, AI technology worked on a limited scale, but now this AI technology is working very powerfully worldwide. If the right command is given to AI technology for any kind of problem, then AI gives enough instructions to solve that problem. If there is any knowledge related to cryptocurrency or Bitcoin, it is known through AI technology, similarly, security systems are improved and AI is quite active in other matters. However, the tasks that are not possible to do completely by AI till now may be possible in the future through AI technology, but I will not be in favor of relying completely on AI technology.

Thing with trading strategies is that when markets aren't in a bull run, someone needs to lose for someone else to win.

So, even if someone theoretically could make a profitable trading algorithm, there would be a point when enough people are using it and it stops being profitable. But more likely scenario would be that it would be raced by people who have near instant access to trading data. It wouldn't be profitable to normies with their AI bots.

When it comes to AI assisted coding, that has existed for a while now, but with ai agents creating wallets comes a new threat. That threat is a flood of projects vibe coded by people who don't know how to code, which leads to ton of bugs for hackers to exploit.

Also, we probably have hundreds of AI chatbots giving strategies already. I mean even i can "vibe code" one to some cloud server and it would cost me less to use then some subscripition based model.

[...] Bitcoin mining. [...]
Mining is indeed a field where AI agents could be useful.

An AI agent could be useful to determine the best investments in mining. The easiest way would be cloud mining: the agent could investigate the providers every few days, according to location (e.g. electricity cost), trustworthiness and other parameters, and then choose where to allocate how much money. But cloud mining has generally a bad reputation. They could also investigate public mining companies with different criteria and allocate money in their stocks.

Another idea is to organize a business which mines Bitcoin with renewable energies (wind and solar). The agent could first chose a location, but the "day to day work" of the agent would be to determine at which time to run the hardware, analyzing the weather forecasts to determine the best times to mine with wind and solar with the cheapest electricity price or the highest availability of energy. It would not be needed to generate electricity, dynamic electricity price models where you pay the wholesale electricity price would also be suitable, as the price in these models depends on the availability of wind, solar and hydro energy.

Using it as a tool and guide is fine. But relying on it wholly in a point that the user don't do anything at all I think has some risk.

It's good for repetitive tasks but for certain wallet issues and involves our funds, I will think of it first. But what exact tasks are we doing?

Making the wallet? I'm not sure about that because it returns some data to the agentic AI developers. For learning and guides, they're good as far as I know.
