Doge is a meme that has a different value from other memes, especially in terms of fundamentals and also remains #1 of all memes that have been born by the market, apart from that all of course I prefer memes are about increasing prices, so every cycle of memes that I like Is he who has an interesting speculation to give profit on increasing prices. So Doge is a meme coin that I once liked, not for now, because my objective is to give the benefits that I can get, nothing more than that, and regardless of what Doge has as the top meme.

Are people still talking about Dogecoin in 2026? I am even surprised to see that the coin is still floating between 11&12 rank of market capitalization because it's been long I hear people talk about Dogecoin the way they diid in 2021 when the hype was still very high and I thought that by now Dogecoin will be trading at $20+. If there's any significant reason that people love about Dogecoin, I think it's those two reason that you already listed which is why I guess it's still ranking 11 by market cap. I like low fee and speed transaction, if I can not get it from the blockchain network that I often use, then I will turn to use Dogecoin as an alternative.
Dogecoin is one of the memecoins that has managed to survive this long. And perhaps Dogecoin is no longer considered a memecoin at this point. I personally believe that Dogecoin has gone through various experiences that have caused its popularity to rise dramatically. We can also see that the Dogecoin community was once very influential in boosting its popularity. And we can still see that its twelfth-anniversary celebration took place just last December ( Source). Many events have shaped Dogecoin’s journey making it even more famous and a topic of conversation to this day. And we can’t deny that Dogecoin’s popularity has also been influenced by Elon Musk who was once part of its community regardless of the controversies surrounding him. So I personally believe that the active community’s continued support for Dogecoin has had a major impact on the cryptocurrency itself which is why people are still talking about it. On the other hand I’m a Dogecoin user myself even though I don’t use it very often. But the widespread market support for transactions using Dogecoin is one of the reasons I use it and even likely why others do as well. This ranges from the many exchanges that still support it to various companies that do as well which is also due in part to how inexpensive it is to use. As far as I know, what actually caused dogecoin to gain the traction it got in the previous years was because so many people believed that it was Elon Musk coin, like you said. He was tweeting about it back then and that got some people believing that something great will happen with the coin. You said it's not considered as meme coin, so what should it be considered as now? What could make Dogecoin to trend again is if Elon is still part of the project, I remember he made a promise of SpaceX launching satellite Doge-1 in 2021 but it was just an empty promise, perhaps just to make the coin pump.

Over the years, here’s what I’ve observed with this shit:
- If the market is about to enter a bull run, Doge acts as a pioneer, signaling it like a locomotive. It doesn’t carry the market on its own, but it acts as a harbinger. - I used to use it a few times to transfer funds between exchanges. It’s a cheap and fast cryptocurrency. However, today there are many cryptocurrencies that can do this, and most importantly, stablecoins are a better alternative for these purposes.
I’m not a huge fan of it, but I don’t blame it for the meme garbage in the market either. However, I have great respect for it because it was the first.

The problem with stablecoins is that they're utterly-centralized. Dogecoin is fast and cheap, without sacrificing on decentralization and censorship-resistance. Litecoin is another option. But many prefer DOGE over LTC because of its inexpensive nature. There are many reasons why people love Dogecoin. Every day there are less haters and more lovers of the cryptocurrency. In a way, it's best for DOGE to remain cheap forever. Otherwise, there would be a higher entry point. A cheap DOGE allows anyone to join the world of crypto without "breaking the bank". It's a "meme" coin, but still better than centralized garbage.

As i red through your post just now, it took me back to memory lane about this dogecoin, how a friend of mine was trying to convince me to invest heavily in it, saying that it's the new Bitcoin, that I should not forget that this is Elon musk own coin. So as the richest person in the planet, we should expect him to use his money, power and contact to make the dogecoin to skyrocket, so if I did not invested in it and he became rich through it, I should not come begging him tomorrow I gave him a nickname, the dogeman because of that, and we even laugh over it anytime we cross path because it's quite laughable that Elon musk was just playing with them and making them excited for nothing, because those that invested in it like that my friend saw nothing from it

I used to claim DOGE from faucets in 2015 and 2016, so I'm quite sympathetic to this crypto for nostalgic reasons. But I confess that after Elon Musk got involved with this, it wasn't the same anymore. What started as a spontaneous cheap friendly crypto has turned into a manipulative speculative scheme by Musk, and then culminated in further schemes involving the infamous memecoins, and mainly shiba inu.

It's a "meme" coin, but still better than centralized garbage. You are right in your criticism that stablecoins have a centralized structure. However, when transferring funds between exchanges, a fluctuation of just a few satoshis in Dogecoin’s value can cause the money we send to lose a significant amount of value. With stablecoins, this risk is both present and absent, but I think you have the stronger argument here. Because we’re at the heart of decentralization, and it would never be right for me to say that a stablecoin is better than Dogecoin...

The fact that dogecoin has it's own blockchain is one exciting thing about bitcoin, amd also it's market sentiments and adoption is something to look out for considering that it started in 2013 with the popular Shiba inu meme. But as much as dogecoin has some certain peculiarity, it still has some loophopes that would hinder it's growth for global adoption. The problem of unlimited supply would always keep its price on a leveled range and most likely, we would not see a big bull run even in the nearest future. Also considering the fact that it is built around human sentiments and hype, so it could be easily manipulated.

For me their's no meme coins or altcoins that is more popular than each other, it depends on the one you found values and comfortable to invest with...for me their's no one can say a particular meme coins feature is more good than the other...like as I said before, someone can like Ethereum and another like dogecoin, and if they're ask to analyze they feature, they will give different objectives for features of the both because of how they value the coins....

If it is about fast and cheap, you like Dogecoin. I want to remind you that there are many other coins that you can find cheap and fast, and they can give you a return on investment. Well, when investing in altcoins or memecoins, an investor should bear in mind that they are basically taking on the risk with their money. Because in a situation where the team owes a large portion of the supply, they can dump on investors at any time. Dogecoin, which we have had for a long time, gets promoted by Elon Musk. What if it doesn't anymore? What becomes of its price, and whether it will soar yet again, is not something the community that is behind its growth can say, not to be above its ATH of 0.7 in 2021.

I think recently elon has shifted attention to AI and not so much talking about cryptocurrency anymore which is actually a good thing. I've rarely seen Elon shilling for Doge anymore, truth to be said Elon didn't have as much influence in crypto as it was years ago. Whatever project he's shilling just become another shit coin extraction in pumpfun. In the future, maybe we'll see how Doge could pump even higher due to this. No more spontaneous rise because of shill but an organic meme coin growth.

Ah, the good-old days of faucets. You don't see them around anymore. They're relatively-scarce these days. Our options are limited when it comes to claiming free DOGE at faucets. Which is weird, because Dogecoin itself is fast and cheap. Maybe faucet owners can't sustain their operations? Anyways, back when Dogecoin used to be worth less than $0.01 USD, it was so easy to claim lots of DOGE at popular faucets. If you held those DOGE until the bullish period of 2021, you would have had plenty of money to spend with. Even though DOGE is currently down, I still buy a few every now and then out of pure fun. Many online gambling sites accept it, too. Let's just hope it stays with us forever.

It has a bright future for those that will take the risk to invest what they can afford to lose in dogecoin, since I started investing little amount of funds on dogecoin it hard me to regret with the results that will come out from the investment because I don't hold the memecoin more than one year before I will take a decision that will satisfy me and also motivate me to embrace another opportunity next time, secondly, Dogecoin don't disappoint like other memecoins you will invest today and disappear a week or months later to make some investors to regret for the decision they made to try the new memecoin.

I can agree that Doge is not going to disappear like a lot of those trash meme coin out there. But just because it can stick around for year does not mean it'll grow or make money. I'm curious , what makes you think DOGE has such a bright future? As we've seen, most of its hype came from Elon, and since he's been much less involved in crypto , DOGE doesn't seem to have made any meaningful gains. Honestly , I just don't see the bright upside in Doge;D
