Two years ago, I learned that Satoshi Nakamoto is the creator of Bitcoin.
And now, 17 years later, I am here waiting for Satoshi Nakamoto.
You've got that wallet in 2009, and you just knew satoshi was the creator of bitcoin just 2 years ago? I may not be one of the early adopters of Bitcoin. But I am convinced that majority if not all of the people who just learned about Bitcoin and held it for a long time knew satoshi made it from the very start. As that was the era of research and when everyone has doubted his invention.

I am a Korean who does not speak English. As a retired soldier discharged at the age of 30 due to an injury, I have lived a weary life.
The past 17 years have been truly painful, as I struggled to support my family in society while living with a disability.
This is because I had to silently endure each day simply to provide for my family.
And now, 17 years later, I am here waiting for Satoshi Nakamoto.
Alright, we’ve logged your complaint. Your queue number is #1101011001011101. Currently, Satoshi is handling the complaint for queue number #0. C'mon, are you really trying to shift the responsibility for your family onto "Satoshi"? I have no idea if your story is true, or if news about Bitcoin could have possibly reached a Korean soldier back in those early days. A fundamental question: how did you come to possess that Bitcoin in the first place?

Maybe you'll wait a little longer to witness his miracle return
The more time I spend on this Forum, the more I am wondering if I am part of a community or a cult because this sounds like some of you are waiting for some kind of Rapture. The community has some cultish tendencies. But I think that statement you're responding to is made with tongue in cheek. Regardless, the fact that here's somebody running to the almighty Satoshi crying for help proves the point. Even though I told the truth, you will continue to doubt me, so I do not wish to go out of my way to explain.
I hope Satoshi sees this post. Here's a bit of a warning. If you're telling the truth and Satoshi suddenly contacted you by whatever way, beware. His/her coming would make your life more miserable. He/she won't help you at all. On the contrary, he/she would steal your coins. At this point we should've already been fully weaned from our father/mother. His/her coming would only be in the form of a thief, an impostor.

Hellow, Satoshi Nakamoto.
I am contacting you after a very long time.
I lost my wallet in 2009, so is there any way to recover or retrieve it?
I know the private key exactly.
From the way you speak and your post shows that you are new here, you lost your wallet since 2009 and this is the time you want to recover it or retrieve it back? Maybe there is not something valuable in the wallet that is why you didn’t bother to recover it all this while, i don’t think you will have any problem since you have the private key, you can recover the wallet without having any much problem, but there is one thing you shouldn’t do, do not trust anyone who message you that want to help you to recover your wallet and claim to be in this forum. Your private key is not something anyone should know or have access to, it is only for you to keep it as a secret that is why it is called private key, if you have coin or something valuable inside, it will be a good advice if you recover the wallet and get access your coins.

I know the private key exactly.
Be careful if you are telling the truth, people might message you and ask for your private key pretending that they will help. With lots of scammers here, you could be a possible victim. (If you are honestly telling the truth)

Since 2019 and you still have basic knowledge of how Bitcoin operates. What have you being doing since?
Satoshi created it to be decentralised, even he can't help you.
But you have the most important asset of a Bitcoin wallet which is the private key. You can use that to access your Bitcoin.
But with the way you came to ask this question, who knows whether you are playing with us, or you just want baby-ish attention.
Is it not obvious that the Op is playing and joking around, because tell me why he would be directing his questions to Satoshi, does he think that Satoshi is active here to give him solutions to his problems. 2009 is a very long time, why is he now suddenly interested in getting access to his wallet, I feel he has basic knowledge as well to know what is needed for him to have access to his Wallets. I just feel he is absolutely joking and playing around with himself, just for the sake of creating a Thread. 2009 is a very long time, what have you been doing since 2009 that you’ve not gotten access to your wallets.

You could also ask your query in either of these two boards on the forum . . . Development and Technical DiscussionWallet SoftwareAfter that its really a lost cause I wuld say. Thank you so much. I attempted to send a message to the administrator and Satoshi's account, but messages from new subscribers are not being received. If possible, please send a message mentioning my ID(abjinny_bluetwoseven) stating that I would like to recover my 2009 wallet.

Although I could not speak English, I purchased Bitcoin by chance, but I was busy just trying to survive. Society was harsh for a discharged soldier with a disability to live in. Every day was busy supporting my family, and I never even dreamed of luck. Then, two years ago, I recalled my memories through a certain trigger. Is that a bad thing? This is my effort to see if there is a chance to reclaim what I have wallet. [mod note: merged consecutive posts]

I don't know for others but I'm not waiting for any kind of rapture that'll see Satoshi Nakamoto return back. Maybe my mistake was not adding a laugh emoji to that sentence to make it clear that it was just for humour. The part I told Op to be more explicit so forum members can tell him the best possible ways to recover his lost BTC, has nothing to do with humour.

This is my effort to see if there is a chance to reclaim what I have wallet. Satoshi is really unavailable right now and the best advice I can give you is to first verify that whatever wallet software you eventually choose to try out, it is trusted, offline , open-source. It could even be something like electrum, but it's always a wise decision to never share your seed phrases online or on any website that intends to want to help you recover your wallet, because that is the easiest way you could lose it. Also try to see if the wallet you choose is right for the seed phrase you have so you don't lose it .

The real Satoshi would not reach out to you after 2010; if anyone claiming to be Satoshi contacts you privately, they are certainly a fake.
Until now, I did not know who Satoshi Nakamoto was.
Two years ago, I learned that Satoshi Nakamoto is the creator of Bitcoin.
I would like to communicate with Mr. Satoshi, but there seems to be no way to do so.
You already know clearly from this phrase that satoshi will not return and will only become look stupid when to now communicate with who say themselves satoshi because it will not be possible. At this time you actually only need to know what wallet you are using because looking at your first expression, you have the private key so you should not be difficult to restore the recovery in the wallet. In addition, if in the end with a strange possibility when for example you can contact satoshi, I don't think satoshi will be able to help you because satoshi is only the creator of bitcoin but cannot access other people's wallets. I wouldn't say you're doing talkshit (at least for now) but you've known bitcoin for a long time but you're just opening up and looking for your wallet now? The more time I spend on this Forum, the more I am wondering if I am part of a community or a cult because this sounds like some of you are waiting for some kind of Rapture.
I would like to reiterate that I did not write that post.

I would like to reiterate that I did not write that post. Op I realised you’re not familiar with the bitcointalk syntax, you have been using the quote syntax wrongly as you only use the close quote only in most of you’re post on this thread. please kindly go through all of your posts on this thread and make those corrections by opening the quote and the closing them as well before your reply. that make your post look good and clear to read and understand better. I just did the correction on this very one by removing the / on the opening quote. Do that for the rest of your post that were not quoted properly.

You know the private key exactly or you have the private key? What is the name of the bitcoin wallet you used?
I believe that your research should be about how to import that private key that you have, not trying to contact who is no more active on the forum, you aren't going to get a reply from Satoshi Nakamoto himself.
Don't get scammed, it's likely that you will start receiving PM on this forum right now since you have private key, do not give it up for anybody.
This is neither a lie nor a joke. First of all, can you please stop repeating the same thing again and again, saying that you are Korean and don't speak English? For god's sake, it's 2026, and you still think communicating in a totally text-based public forum is a problem for you when you have access to the internet where literally anything is possible. With the advent of AI, you can easily translate the posts you read, and write your posts and get their translation as well, just make sure you mention that you are using an AI model to do that to avoid getting in trouble. Or, browsers nowadays easily support translating one language to another, use these features and don't say you can't speak English. Now, coming to your story and what you are trying to do, I do want to believe you, but part of me tells me that you are just another troll who wants to get some attention by using Satoshi's name by representing a story that can also be engaging for the readers/posters. If you are actually telling the truth, then kindly read the posts above where you are told how you can do what you are looking for, instead of again repeating the same thing that you want Satoshi to contact you or help you.

However, as everyone has said, it seems unlikely that such an opportunity will come to someone as insignificant as me.
Because I doubt a great person like Satoshi Nakamoto would bother dealing with someone like me.
I thank everyone who has taught me so much.
It's not about whether he wants to take care of your problem or not, but the issue is he won't come back.. He left a long time ago.. But for your problem, you don't need Satoshi to solve it, users here can also guide you so you can recover your assets.. If you're having such a hard time explaining your problem, you should be able to use Google Translate to communicate, so there really shouldn't be any obstacles... unless you just want to mess around.

Have seen a lot of weird stuff in this forum over the years, but this is seriously something unique. If this story of yours is actually true op, I advise you to give up on contacting Satoshi immediately due to the reasons some of the posters above already mentioned.
He/She/They will not reply plain and simple. For all we know, they might still be checking this forum out without logging in or using alternate accounts at present, but you still shouldn't expect anything. Think!

I hope Satoshi sees this post.
Satoshi would never not see your message, so give up the hope. And here's a piece of advice for you if at all you're real, don't entertain anyone who messages you claiming to be Satoshi or offering help, they'll scam you and take away your Bitcoin. Here's also a piece of advice to anyone thinking they can take advantage of OP. You might be scammed at the end if you attempt to scam a scammer. I've heard about this scam pattern in the past, it sounds so familiar.
