I purchased this from Satoshi Nakamoto in December 2009, after being discharged with a disability due to an injury sustained during my 12 years of military service in the Air Force.
Sorry to hear that
The webpage I first visited had the name "Satoshin."
Let's start from here, where exactly did you got the link to that "webpage" as you've claimed. From the forum? If yes do you remember the name of the member that posted it? If No then where did you get it. Any website can be created to scam people.
The purchase procedure I remember from that time was: 1. Sign up for Google. 2. Log in and fill out the form. 3. Make the payment.
What form ? Can you recollect what details you drop.
4. A compressed B-money file arrives via email.
5. Unzip the file to find an e-cash file and a text file.
6. The text file explained how to store the data and had a strange stamp on it. It was likely a QR code, which only began to be used in Korea in 2015. At the time, I was unaware of QR codes.
e-cash file? There was nothing like walllet.dat file? Or something like private key( i am not sure if you can use core for that)
I have since lost the wallet and only remember the password I set back then.
The password I set at the time was 15 to 25 characters long.
The password is useless , if that was the only wayy you can access your Bitcoin then, that means you were probably scammed and also try to get more from you from what they sent to you.
I clicked the link and saw "Satoshi Nakamoto" on the English webpage, but I had not been able to remember the name since then.
That meant nothing, anyone can put Satoshi Nakamoto on a random "Web page" just to scam people
