Most discussions about casino withdrawals seem to focus on KYC or bonus wagering. But some restrictions apply even when you're playing with your own money and haven't claimed any bonuses. I was looking through a few casino Terms & Conditions and found three examples worth mentioning. | Casino | What caught my attention | | Wild Fortune [1] | Winnings from the first 3 deposits are limited to €5,000 in total, even without bonuses. Excess winnings can be forfeited. | | 1RED [2] | Deposited funds must be wagered 3x before withdrawal. | | Crownslots [3] | After 6 months of inactivity, a monthly fee of at least €25 may be charged from the remaining balance. |
The Wild Fortune clause surprised me the most. I can understand weekly withdrawal limits, but forfeiting winnings from your own deposits seems like a different matter. As for the 3x turnover requirement, I understand that casinos don't want people using their platforms just to move money around. Still, it means taking additional gambling risk even without accepting a bonus. To be fair, these are clauses from published terms, not confirmed cases of players losing funds. I haven't personally tested withdrawals at these casinos. Has anyone actually run into something like this while playing without bonuses? I'd be interested in hearing real experiences or seeing similar clauses from other casinos. Sources:[1] Wild Fortune — Terms and Conditions, section 11.15 [2] 1RED — Terms and Conditions, Withdrawals from the Account, clause 8 [3] Crownslots — Terms and Conditions, sections 12.1–12.2 Terms checked: 19 October 2026.

Well also most other casinos have implemented at least a 1x wagering requirement before you can withdraw your money. I strongly agree with this practice which is put in place to fight money laundering although still it can be bypassed easily from a mind full of imagination. Anyway going to keep you a maximum win of 5000 dollars for your first 3 deposits seems a little to restricting considering some people may like to play with very high bets and 5000 means nothing to these people.

As long as the gambling casino stated all this on their ToS, there's nothing that can be done as a change over it because that is their stand, it is so unfortunate that many gamblers are not taking their time to read all this before using a particular gambling casino, I must confess that the number one and the third one are strange to me, this conditions are extremely weird, I can still see a number of gambling casino that do make their conditions to be 1X wagering requirement, which is still considerable to an extent unlike other ones that are too much harsh on gamblast comply with. Another additional reminder, always read the casino Tos before gambling.

They appear to have an offshore license, maybe their license allows them to do that, seems not so gambler-friendly as they want you to control you. They are like a bank that way, where you are charged for your dormant account but they are even worse as the fee is too huge, compared to banks where you are only charged when you go below the required average daily balance.
That 3x wagering requirement as well, is not an industry standard as many casinos just require 1x.

Yes. BK8 PH. I forgot the time I played in their online casino.
It's my fault for not reading their terms and conditions, but what I don't like is the daily wager reset. Imagine playing now and losing $500, then after 12:00 you suddenly win it all back. The online casino will prevent you from withdrawing because it's a new day, even if the deposit has no bonus applied to it. That made me frustrated, and I never went back to that online casino. They have other frustrating system issues. The VIP feature also resets per day if I remember it right. This is all just based on my own experience.

What I senses here is like they are trying to make the whole looks so compulsive, what I mean is that, when someone do not gamble for a specific period of time they would have to charge around 25£ which I think is extremely bad for them to charge such amount. For me, I may decide not to use that gambling site anymore because of their nasty behaviour in regards to their users or customers. I have never came across such casino throughout my experience in gambling and if I found such I wouldn’t mind either deleting my account from the gambling site anymore. Of course, it looks so weird to see that if someone do not meet the bonus requirement or wagering requirement they could limits till they met the requirement which i also think is no go area for me to use that gambling site.

This is the first time I am reading that a casino restricts a player from winning more on the first three deposits. Maybe this is to stop the account abusers try to claim bonuses or any kind before their security triggers to stop them. But just as others said it is worth to limit them from withdrawing the rewards but restricting is kind of weird one, the discourage users on the first go to wager...

But the limit is €5,000, so it's not that big of a deal for most gamblers, but for those who are high rollers, maybe it is but I doubt they will use this casino when there are bigger casinos out there with less restrictive terms and they can enjoy betting any amount they want. This casino is not even an established one if I'm not mistaken, and this one "monthly fee of at least €25" unbelievable, a casino charging you for not gambling for 6 months, why? What if the person is taking a break, or they are self-excluded, why take their money.

Agreed, but a high roller will consider doing bigger wagers even on the new ones because for them the amount is just a change but if they don't know the terms cause it is highly uncommon to have they might face the losses. I understand why there is a fee, some exchanges also do that just to keep the funds safe because managing cold storage isn't cheap and when a user is not giving them potential profits but left a balance to keep them safe then they will tryb to take some from it. But the balance should not go negatively.

A midnight rollover reset on a raw deposit is completely insane. That basically holds your withdrawal hostage and forces marathon sessions, since stepping away to sleep or take a break wipes your progress. Pure predatory retention design. "monthly fee of at least €25" unbelievable, a casino charging you for not gambling for 6 months, why? What if the person is taking a break, or they are self-excluded, why take their money.
The self-exclusion angle makes that clause ten times worse. If someone locks their account for responsible gambling or steps away for mental health, draining €25 every month simply because they literally aren't allowed to log in and play crosses the line from "administrative cost" into outright balance theft.

To me the wagering requirement of 3x is high before your fund can be withdrawn, and at the same time charging a gambler some fees for for not gambling in the platform is another thing that is not very clear to me. That is to say they are actually telling you when to gamble. Well , it lies in the hands of gamblers to choose if such terms and conditions is convenient for him or her. Every casino platform have their rules, and it is important you understand the rules of a gambling site before you gamble in their platform.

| Wild Fortune [1] | Winnings from the first 3 deposits are limited to €5,000 in total, even without bonuses. Excess winnings can be forfeited. | So the casino basically wants new players to first sacrifice their deposit before they can start winning. What about someone who made a deposit which is a bit closer to €5,000? | 1RED [2] | Deposited funds must be wagered 3x before withdrawal. | This is not an anti-money laundering policy; this is making it hard for someone to walk away with money from the casino. 1x is fair enough, just like every major casino out there has. | Crownslots [3] | After 6 months of inactivity, a monthly fee of at least €25 may be charged from the remaining balance. | Those who are using their casino balance as a custody service will be the ones to be affected by this, and not everyone can debit a dormant account without any fund on it. Has anyone actually run into something like this while playing without bonuses? I'd be interested in hearing real experiences or seeing similar clauses from other casinos. Anyone who has read those rules carefully, I don’t think they will want to test run the casino themselves from the first to the 3rd. It leaves a sign of why I should not patronise them, which I don’t know what exactly makes the Red Casino special for them to ask for 3x wager when other casinos are using 1x, and some are even trying to reduce it to as low as what we have with DuelBit.

Actually there was a topic if I'm not mistaken about if gamblers really read the ToS of casinos that they've played.
But I was not surprised by the majority of us didn't read the ToS until there will be problems or issues later, whether withdrawals and KYC. And in case, I was not aware of the examples that was posted here.
Maybe it's about that that we review the ToS of casinos that we frequented moving forward or new casinos that we want to play.

Never let idle money at casino platforms for too long. In this case a fee is going to be charged after 6 months of inactivity, but what if the casino simply vanishes away or close the doors? I've already faced situations when the casino decided to stop their operations, so they gave users a timeframe to cashout funds, and once the deadline was over, remaining funds would belong to the casino itself, without any chance of recovery by users. If you don't intend to play at the casino anytime soon, make sure to withdraw all your funds in order to avoid such nasty situations later. It's so important like reading and understanding the terms of the house.

Wild Fortune on your list is nothing more than straight robbery! When any player deposit their own money without any bonus to play, rules of placing limit on his initial winning or confiscating any excess fund are extremely unfair. It is simply one sided robbery of casino.
And when it comes to 1RED's 3x rollover or wagering rule, many casino try to defend it with excuse of AML or payment processing fee. But real purpose is to make it difficult to cashout money from our account. And forcing us to over bet because of house edge. Where any simple 1x rollover should be enough, 3x is forcing us to risk extra gambling!

I hate winning limitations and maximum withdrawable amount rules... "Excess winnings" what the fuck does that even mean? It wasn't like that before, but some casinos are creating/making up new rules that suit them... And most of them are pure robbery! It's hard to win, but they make it even harder with this max win/max withdrawable amount! We play slots, and we are already at risk... and if we hit something nice, it doesn't matter because they have a max-win rule! Just a heads-up... if you see a max win/max withdrawable rule, just skip it! Don't play there...

The inactivity fee of Crown Slots does not go down. Deducting 25 euro or more every month without using your account for six month mean slowly eating away at our accumulated balance.
In my own long experience with casino gaming, I have often come across such seemingly minor yet critical condition. In such cases, some casino often try to evade responsibility by citing their own terms and condition. Yet, no one think about safety of players. I don’t know whether you have account on these site directly or if you just stumbled upon them while looking through their terms. Honestly I have never fallen into traps like such pre-deposit scheme or no-deposit bonus scam.

I don't want to interfere with the level of trust that one has for their casino, but this doesn't sound right in any way. Most people are just too careless to own a dollar, because they have no idea how to protect it; the only time your money is actually yours is when you're physically holding it, every other time, it's just some fine print of numbers on the screen. If anyone leaves their deposit more than 3 months in a casino, unless they're dead and no close relation has an idea about it, it technically belongs to the casinos because they should have made so much profit of that money already. If you don't intend to play at the casino anytime soon, make sure to withdraw all your funds in order to avoid such nasty situations later. The worst part of this is that most of them don't open their emails. Even if the casinos where to give a closing up notice, they wouldn't know. Lol

Many of us believe that by avoiding bonus or promotion, we could steer clear of casino’s clutches.
However some notorious casino hide traps throughout their lengthy T&C, snares that are virtually invisible to naked eye. Personally, I have never played at such casino.
If I talk about Crownslots, their policy of charging monthly fee of 25 Euro after six month of inactivity is truly adding insult to injury! If you happen to leave some money in your account perhaps without even realizing it, they will simply deduct fee and wipe your balance clean. How is this even possible? These are nothing more than a way for these casino to defraud their player.
Those who deposit fund to play should carefully read terms and steer clear of these predatory site. Otherwise, even your own winning could end up in their pocket.
