I also do it like this. I have several casinos I play in, and I dont see no big point in registering in a new casino. If something works well for me, I dont see reason to go and look for something different. However, if I notice a new casino signature campaign being everywhere on the forum (lets say aggressive advertisement), signature looks interesting and attractive, then I might click on it to have a look on casino design - that means if I would sign-in for that new casino, it would be by referral link.

I'm not the kind of guy who would jump to a new casino just because their promos are attractive, usually I just stick to the old ones, and I don't even avail of bonuses that much as I don't want to deal with complicated requirements that come with them.
But if I would sign up at a new casino, and I see it here in the forum and I'm convinced, I normally click the signature, it's not a referral but at least the casino would know that their advertising somehow gets them some signups.

Yeah there is a danger in being urged to find new casinos all the time, this is actually one of the often ways that people get scammed. They chase bonuses, promotions, and always something new and this increases the chance to get scammed by a lot. It is better to stick to things that work unless there is a good reason to make the switch. But the reason has to be really good, and for people to be able to do a relevant analysis of that they have to understand all of the benefits of the casino. For example some people would rush to a new casino over a promotional $50 bonus not realizing that the utility that they are deriving from the places that they place at already is much higher. No problems, no manipulation, no exit scam. unfortunately people get used to the things to the point that they take them for granted instead of appreciating them. But like I said, I would not give someone the benefit of endless earning from my account just because they had a banner somewhere. They need to earn it somehow, but sadly we live in times where people are very lazy.

For me, I have to go through the mirror links, so clicking the signature isn't going to works because of the geoblock is in place by most of the ISP in my country due to the new stupid law to ban all kinds of online gambling in my country. I try to visit the ANN and see if there is any official list of mirror links and I do know the mirror links of the ones I usually gamble and also keep them bookmarked to avoid getting into a clone fake sites.

When you are going to sign up for a new casino, do you think about your signup and how it is processed (a referral or not)? Do you think about it as supporting fellow members or is it something that never crosses your mind? I used to be somebody who doesn’t care when signing up for these sorts of services, but now I usually try to take advantage of signing up for something and use it as an opportunity to help someone I know with a referral. How about you?
Honestly, I usually register my account on gambling sites through referrals, but I don't usually check whether the referral code is automatically filled in. I usually register my account through a link I receive, either from an announcement, or an event I find on games & rounds. Maybe, you could say I am half-hearted, because I don't really think about it (checking during initial registration carefully), even though I still care to click on the links I see.

This is another interesting perspective I hadn’t considered. I guess I assumed that in this scenario the referral link would carry through to the mirror link either with a hidden url addition or a cookie. I wonder if different casinos handle this scenario differently. That could be something to bring up to a company to improve their referral reporting.

With it depends on how and where I get link for signup. If I see a new casino on the forum, I would click on a signature, get redirected to page and register (but I will be lazy to go to signature topic or casino ANN to read if there is written special referral code registration). If my tiny deposit will one day help someone to get a referral bonus, I will only be glad of that. If someone asks me to register under his ref link, I would be glad to help btw. But to be honest, years and years ago I was kinda a person who was erasing referral codes at end of page links to enter "clean" and original page, or was deleting referral code during registration if it was there automatically I had similar experience to a point I decided not to open any link or page that has to do referral codes, because I felt cheated and like am working for others and thinks sometimes that I might not see as much people to also use my link as I am using there's while registering on the site. Let's come to think of it, using anyone's referral code won't stop us from making the profits we should make as at the due time and season. It's not bad to try new casino, but at the same time one just need to be very careful not to be victim to scam.

I think it is pretty common to feel like you don’t want people getting freebies from you. That’s why I really like yahoo’s idea of giving back to those who do sign up using your referral. I have lots of referrals but not many that regularly play and make deposits, but I will definitely be keeping my eye on the list to see if anyone is deserving of a reward.

That is how strong communities are formed. Imagine the difference in funds this community would receive if nobody used referrals for signups vs if everyone used referrals for signups. Little things like that can make a big difference at scale. This is just one reason why it is important to try and maintain a positive atmosphere in the community. If people all work together it can benefit everyone in ways they don't even realize. I think the gambling community here at bitcointalk is pretty strong and supportive. That's why it has done so well.
I clearly understood everything you have said and I agree with you that we should maintain positive atmosphere in the community so that people can sign up in a casino with someone referral with that person asking. For instance, just imagine someone signed up a casino with your referral and you received referral bounce on your casino account which you can use to gamble, you decided to predict silly game, a game with big risk and big money return, and unfortunately the game play, then you have benefited from someone else's help.

~ ~Nevertheless, most of the casinos I use were discovered on the forum, and I just select ones that offer better services. Clicking on random links is bad for security; this is why I verify them before accessing them. Yeah, mate, me too. I'd even say, I sign up only to sites presented on the forum. I was saying that googling a high-level gambling site is dangerous because scam sites copy its layout and create a site with an identical name but a different domain extension, and they pay Google to appear among the top search results when people search for the site. You register and deposit on such a site, and you'll never see your money again. So, Google is not reliable for this kind of thing, but Bitcointalk is.

There is so much sense in what you said and that’s the truth. It is better to use sites recommended here on the forum than from google. At least most of the sites presented and recommended here are reliable and trustworthy because most people recommend those sites here base on their experience. if it good, so many persons will clearly agree to it and if the site is suspected of any fraudulent or scam activity, it will surely be stated here. So I agree to signing up on site presented here than that of google.
