I decided to test it and find out what it's about. Turns out it's just similar to affiliate marketing, but with more advanced settings.

For example, you can choose which page to show on your PlayW3 casino's front page, choose the AI customer support, etc. Check out the Be the Boss program here https://playw3.com/partners. You can easily get your own subdomain like them. I created my own for testing.

https://bitcointalk.playw3.com/

Having this brand (subdomain) doesn't mean you operate it independently. PlayW3 is still the operator. You only personalize and optimize it. As I said, it's just an affiliate marketing / referral program, but with extra settings.

The bonus is a 50% revenue share, calculated from the 2% house edge, which is about 1% of each wager.

The question now is, will this forum count it as a regular casino promotion or a referral link?

An “owner” is the popular term right now in online casino instead of an affiliate by just giving them a unique mirror link which is just the same logic with an affiliate. This create an illusion to own your casino.

You’re right that it’s just same as affiliate since the play3 owner is the sole responsible for all the players registered through this different mirror link.

I haven’t seen how a system based on mirrors works in practice, but from what you describe, it operates on a similar principle.

The mirror link is just an example since I don’t know the right term for this specific system. But I’m sure you already have the grasp on what I’m describing here.

Do you have your own control panel on your website to make an independent update or do you still rely on the mother casino that supply’s everything and you are just earning based on the user that sign up on your own unique URL?

It just like a collaborative business but the difference is the fact that is one casino that is giving rise to all other casinos that will be making use of it information, seriously it is like making use of their trademark, in situation like this the person is likely serving as a referral agent but because your casino has their information it looks like the main casino are still the owner, because when a gambler comes to the site to gamble what they see first is the information of the domain casino before the subdomain with that it makes it look more like a referral.

That’s how it looks. In my opinion, it’s a nice solution.

As an operator, I don’t have access to the subdomain’s code or even the DNS, so I cannot make any changes myself. I do, however, have a "boss" dashboard, which even includes an AI agent that can be connected to social media, as well as access to detailed statistics. But without an option provided by the main website, I have no way to carry out further customization.
I think it’s fair to say that this represents another difference compared to the classic "white label" model, where you customize the site to your own specifications and pay for individual components. In this case, you simply receive a complete package, with very limited options for customization.

The owner of the entire infrastructure is the domain owner. The subdomain operator is a subcontractor. As previously mentioned, the feeling that the operator owns the casino is just kind of illusion. We cannot modify the site's code, so we are limited to working just with what we are given.

In the event of any claims from a client who played on your website (i.e., a client you attracted), who is liable? The parent casino, you, or is the liability joint and several? For example, a dispute over non‑payment of winnings, or claims regarding self‑exclusion, and any other cases.

The subdomain operator cannot block access to the casino, nor have access to the bankroll - the entire structure is provided by the owner of the main domain.

Even though they are involved in a collaborative business, the main one is still the real owner and controls the money, depending on their agreement.

I see quite a bit of speculation, which doesn’t surprise me. It’s a new type of solution - I’d call it a hybrid between a white-label setup and an affiliate program.

You get everything: the full infrastructure typical of a white-label arrangement, including the bankroll, license, games, sportsbook, predictions and even live support. Practically everything. The key difference is that the platform is set up as a subdomain, so you don’t pay for the infrastructure.

The revenue-sharing model works much like an affiliate program: the more people who register through your subdomain and place bets, the higher the percentage you earn.
So that clears out the early speculations of what it really is, you have everything and anyone who's interested just have to find customers through registration under your affiliate program.

I haven't explored your casino. Is it that anyone who's interested on doing the revenue-share is part of it automatically or there's a need to apply for?

Because I've only read that you have dedicated programs for streamers and creators. Or is it for all?

Exactly – it’s a hybrid: the main domain provides the infrastructure, while the subdomain handles marketing and, consequently, brings in players.

I see quite a bit of speculation, which doesn’t surprise me. It’s a new type of solution - I’d call it a hybrid between a white-label setup and an affiliate program.

Because I've only read that you have dedicated programs for streamers and creators. Or is it for all?

I operate a subdomain, and the main domain pays out my affiliate earnings.
If you want to launch your own casino, you can do so directly on the main domain - you need to create a casion there. Or alternatively, I can share a referral link with you via a private message  - I haven’t tested this myself yet, so if anyone is interested, we could give it a try and I will help to set up everything.
As for streaming, the main domain offers that option, though I haven’t tested it personally either.

The question now is, will this forum count it as a regular casino promotion or a referral link?

This is a very good question and I didn’t notice when I made a post due to me answering to OP.

I believe forum rules will still be lenient on considering this as a regular affiliate link unless there’s already a bunch of them spamming their own unique link.

But I will not be surprised if the forum bans it once reported. Let’s see how the mods will view it. I already reported some of the ANN thread.

That’s actually a good question - I’ve wondered about that myself. I’ve come to the conclusion, that if I’m building my own sub-brand and community on social media platforms, it’s more like running a casino on someone else’s infrastructure than operating a standard affiliate system.

I think my goal of creating this thread after so long has been achieved.  Grin

I actually wanted to know from people with real experience how this be the boss program actually works, and after seeing the post from TedMosby & Easy.Playw3.com, I am quite confirm that it's just affiliate marketing with some extra features, but I don't think thise extra features make them different from affiliate marketing.

And I don't think this should be allowed on this forum because if you do this, real casinos will be less visible on the gambling board, and the casinos from this "be the boss program" we created will be filled.

After reviewing the platform, here's my conclusion:
There are two types of engagement:
1. The simplest option is "Be The Boss"- you essentially rent a set of ready-made solutions and work through an affiliate program. You're responsible for customer acquisition, marketing, and promotion. However, this comes with a *.playw3.com subdomain
2. And the more "prestigious" option - White Label! Your own domain, your own design- essentially everything is yours, except for development, server infrastructure, smart contracts, and technical support, which remain the responsibility of Playnance

I wondered the same thing when I saw one of them here on the forum, and after reading through this thread, I think it's definitely some type of affiliate with an "owner" disguise... Probably just for marketing purposes.

I guess we shouldn't be surprised if we see some spam with unique links from a bunch of newbies...

We learn something new every day! I also think this shouldn't be allowed, but because of possible spamming. I doubt that real casinos will be less visible, because I'm pretty sure they will not have players from the forum... I know I will not give them a try! The big question is: Who will trust them?

This is not a referral system. It's like you owning or building a business with a brand. But the entire infrastructure of the business is not built by you. You don't own the infrastructure, the sought those out. What you own is your brand name and your customers. It's like iPhone company that built there devices without owning any of the equipment in it. All are soughted out. They own the brand and the customers. But the entire ecosystem of iPhone was built by someone else or different people.

So it's not a referral system. Another example is this banks that you must do KYC before you open an account. That KYC metrics is offered by another company. Most people don't know.

This is a very new solution, and it’s natural to be against to something we aren’t familiar with - that’s completely understandable to me.
From my perspective, I’m building my own sub-brand and community on social media. I could have purchased a casino script or a white-label infrastructure, but I chose this solution instead. Right now, my options are more limited compared to a typical owner or developer, but I expect the platform will increase customization options over time.
They are very well organized, and everything runs incredibly smoothly. We’ll see how things evolve, but for now, I’m feeling positive.

I operate a subdomain, and the main domain pays out my affiliate earnings.
If you want to launch your own casino, you can do so directly on the main domain - you need to create a casion there. Or alternatively, I can share a referral link with you via a private message  - I haven’t tested this myself yet, so if anyone is interested, we could give it a try and I will help to set up everything.
As for streaming, the main domain offers that option, though I haven’t tested it personally either.
Alright, thanks and that's all. It's a completely new thing to most of us here that there's this kind of program, not the revenue share model but that one with sub domain.

We thought that it's going to be quite of a journey before someone get into that.

But, it's all in the casino and whether it's with subdomain or main domain, everything can be found as soon as they sign up and explore playw3.

Your last sentence sounds like you vouch for them, but why should we trust you or them? And if things go downhill, can you do anything about it? This is something new, but the GCoin reminds me of the most famous FUN token and what they wanted to do with it. And there are many other gaming tokens that failed along the way.

Right now, you have your personal reputation tied to the parent platform, and I understand you need to say good things about it. But if things go downhill, you are vulnerable & powerless like anyone else.

I'm one of those guys who love gaming & casino tokens, and one of those who have tried many of them. And believe me, there are many players who keep themselves away from all of them...

I think you realize that it’s impossible to vouch for anyone you’ve met online; even on this forum, there have been cases where long-standing escrows disappeared with the money they were entrusted with. So, I absolutely will not vouch for anyone.

This is something new, but the GCoin reminds me of the most famous FUN token and what they wanted to do with it. And there are many other gaming tokens that failed along the way.

When it comes to tokens, or crypto in general, everyone in this space is aware of the risks involved. And this doesn't just apply to gaming tokens, we could look for example what happened to LUNA.
When it comes to GCOIN, the plus side is that it has been audited by CertiK and holds an EU MiCA license (which is insanely strict). But of course, anything can happen with the price – let the traders handle the trading.

Right now, you have your personal reputation tied to the parent platform, and I understand you need to say good things about it. But if things go downhill, you are vulnerable & powerless like anyone else.

I'm working with them now, and as long as the partnership goes well, I'll keep saying good things. It’s a new solution, so anything can happen. But like I said, I have a good feeling about it (at least for the medium term Smiley ), and we'll see how it evolves over time.

I'm one of those guys who love gaming & casino tokens, and one of those who have tried many of them. And believe me, there are many players who keep themselves away from all of them...

I know you know your stuff, and like I wrote before, it's completely understandable that we approach new solutions with caution. However, instead of just jumping straight to criticism, it would be great to stay neutral first and do your own research. Give users a bit of time to get used to using Web3. In my opinion, secure Web3 is a cool way to stay in a licensed casino while remaining anonymous by connecting a non-custodial wallet (kind of KYC bypass). It will take some time for people to get used to it, but in my opinion, this is the way to stick to the decentralization that blockchain was actually created for, rather than pushing towards total regulation.
