In the world of Elizabeth Warren I don't think she hates Bitcoin like many people thinks but at the same time she has proven to be too cautious all the time, she sees treat in every movements 😜 I want to talk about this part though, is it possible for terrorists to come into the US and build Bitcoin mining farm on the US soil and start to send information back to another country? I am not a US citizen but I know that if this is possible many would have been caught, there was a time around 2024 - 2025 where someone said something this similar too, but no Bitcoin mining farm as been exposed as a terrorist haven for sending info. I am really thankful that Satoshi doesn't create Bitcoin to be a capable of sending any decentralised messages around the Blockchain like some alternative coins can, man they would have called Bitcoin a messaging tool for terrorists organisations and it will surely look like it with nothing to wash it off, I think Elizabeth Warren needs a lot of lecturing about Bitcoin and it's Blockchain. What's on your mind? Complete hatred still, too cautious or dumb?

Well, I guess it's just right to be cautious, and based on what I searched, it's possible to send messages using OP_RETURN. I found this explanation in a Bitcointalk post, [EDU] Hands on OP_RETURN. Note: OP_RETURN wasn't created to store all kinds of data.. if you need to store one you can do that on a cloud storage or your local drives but incase you need to store an important messages, data to your transaction, OP_RETURN got you covered. But remember, this is public data attach to a transaction

I think she’s more concerned about the equipments and location of these foreign mining facilities, bitcoin network is public and can contain arbitrary data but I think the facilities are her main concern, it’s a physical infrastructure connected to electrical and communication networks and may be located near sensitive installations which could be exploited for surveillance or possibly disruption. It would be dumb of her to assume that they are sending embedded messages via blockchain when there are more sophisticated ways of doing that, after all, while messages can be embedded with OP_RETURN, it can generally be inspected publicly as it isn’t inherently a secret messaging channel.
While her concerns seems reasonable, there is no public evidence that shows that these facilities have been engaging in any espionage, just accusations and investigations but none these proves any wrongdoing.

Terrorists can use any business as a cover-up to carry out their goals. Some companies outsource their IT infrastructure, cybersecurity, and cloud management to third parties from other countries. Data centers, hosting services, software development, and electronic manufacturing are all means of stealing data. What about the government and big companies employing undercover terrorists? Elizabeth Warren is not ignorant. Maybe people whose names include Warren always have something against Bitcoin .

Elizabeth Warren has called bitcoin a terrible currency before and talked about how it can be used for criminal activities, but he forgot that fiat is still the worst that are used by criminals.
She was one of the people that against CLARITY ACT.
But without people like her, bitcoin adoption continues.

They just want to control things, that is why she favored fiat over crypto. She was one of the people that against CLARITY ACT.
But without people like her, bitcoin adoption continues.
Many of them and the chance of the CLARITY Act being approved is now lower as it needs 60 votes to pass while it only secured 49 votes. But let's still be positive though, there are really some Bitcoin haters who I believe will eventually change their stance.

If she's so cautious, why don't we hear she claim that any foreign-owned big facility/building could be used for spying military or other hostile activity? So IMO it's just another anti-Bitcoin or anti-crypto statement. If there's company who want to do spying, they would do something else that attract less attention. Bitcoin mining isn't really good choice since it's facing some critic such as loud noise or rising electricity price in nearby residential area. Does anyone know whether this X post refer to her recent statement or statement that made few years ago?

I don’t blame her, because she don’t know anything about bitcoin before she said that, if she think well and reason her speech she will not see bitcoin as terrible currency, and there are people who will believe her words and agree that what she said about bitcoin is true because those people did not like bitcoin from the beginning, there is no any currency that the terrorist can not use to cover missions or goals, accusing bitcoin of what other currencies can be used is not a good thing, Mrs Elizabeth Warren should asked the government or those who are in charge of protecting criminal activities to do their jobs instead of putting her anger on bitcoin.

Elizabeth Warren is not ignorant. Maybe people whose names include Warren always have something against Bitcoin . Very funny but true, maybe there is something people bearing that name are not telling us about their hatred for bitcoin. One thing they have failed to do is point out one thing that criminals or terrorists can do with bitcoin, that they can’t do even worse with fiat. Maybe it could be that they don’t want people to be free from control, because I can’t find any reason why some people will choose to hate bitcoin for no reason. When bitcoin has done nothing but provide alternative and opportunities for the people.

She failed to provide any useful details to backup her statement, so we should just ignore her. She is not the first person to criticize Bitcoin and she will not be the last.

I thought that she just said this recently due to what happened in Paris. But as per my research, she has said this months ago so there's no connection to that.
And with the companies trying to spy on another one is common, they're doing it in various ways and one of it through business. They send information and they work as their main land's intelligence.
It's possible for the mining farms especially if they are owned by a foreigner in the US soil or there are partners who are suspicious which are not a citizen of the country.

I think this is old news, and that's why it said "once said" in that picture, I could remember something like this coming from warren many years back, I guess she has a clear understanding of Bitcoin today than the past.
The problem isn't with Elizabeth Warren anymore, she is today exposing the crypto crime thats happening with trump and his family and truthfully I am loving it so far.
I feel the problem is the X account that wants to make a big deal out a old Warren way of reasoning, she is no longer than old anti Bitcoin like this is making her look, her goal is to stop people like Trump from legally stealing from people and looking like a Messiah doing it.

I thought I read something like this in 2025, that's last year, I could be wrong but I doubt, still months back so you are still right, why can't they just stop foreigners from running mining farms in the US then? It will be a case closed but I guess this will need some vote too? I am not going to take a side and I like the fact that one party is saying no and the other is saying yes, this will reveal a lot than we already know so it's helpful that Warren is going gaga crazy on Bitcoin mining on the US soil by foreigners.

This is not about Elizabeth Warren being cautious about what will be made of Bitcoin in the US through Bitcoin mining by terrorist groups.
This is about Elizabeth Warren showing his level of hate for Bitcoin and why she stands against the Clarity Act. To her, she sounds right and defensive in her take on Bitcoin for US citizens, forgetting that terrorists can work with any tools available to them, not just Bitcoin.

I do not think that she "wants" to be on the news, I think she is on the news for who she is. When you say silly stuff like "foreign terrorists build bitcoin farms to send news back to their country", that alone is stupid enough to make the headlines. She believes in this; she is stupid like that. I mean, think about it: even if a terrorist builds a bitcoin farm, how could that send information about the military? Let's go to the USA today and build a Bitcoin mining farm, lets see if we suddenly start getting military information. We won't. So she is just making a buffoon out of herself and nothing more. The entire Bitcoin mining grid in USA could try as hard as possible and still would not spend half of what aviation spends in energy.

As long as these people are discreet and are good at hiding their tracks of spying, then it is really feasible. There are even cases where the enemy of the state becomes a government official, what more being in the Bitcoin mining industry. Elizabeth Warren is too naive in the views she has held all this time. And she seems to misunderstand Bitcoin given her cautious stance. She also once said that buying Bitcoin is like buying air during an interview with the National Broadcasting Company ( Source). But many people have criticized her statement by drawing comparisons by arguing that buying a government promise is also like buying air. On the other hand some have sarcastically remarked that cryptocurrency isn’t real yet the government wants to control and tax it. However many of Elizabeth Warren’s statements indicate that she isn’t keeping up with the times. As a member of the baby boomer generation she doesn’t fully understand Bitcoin given her unfounded objections. If only she had compared Bitcoin to the dollar over the long term she would have realized just how valuable Bitcoin truly is. On the other hand she also seems to misunderstand that Bitcoin is transparent. And Bitcoin is not intended for terrorist financing which can actually be traced. Pseudonymity in Bitcoin is intended solely for privacy if she actually understood that.

The part about terrorism using just about anything rather than Bitcoin that has a lean scripting language is the part they all fail to see most times because they are blinded by the hate for the currency and know they can't control it, so they say what they think not from fact but from mere thought. Bitcoin is merely just a threat because it is decentralized and even CEX systems can't entirely control the network and that's the reason for this absurd statement by Warren. This really captures the issues of the regulatory divide we experience today.

If its just about national security concern and high consumption of electricity and not an anti bitcoin narrative then i can tell her for free that bitcoin should be the least of her worries as a tool for terrorists, terrorists aint that stupid having known how public the bitcoin blockchain is. The are definitely high sophisticate tools and mediums terrorist uses for transmitting messages. Perhaps if she feels a bit worried about mining positions being use as a spying field then the authority can always do their independent underground investigation than jumping on assumption. Maybe people whose names include Warren always have something against Bitcoin . WARREN Buffett

I think I will go for the third option, "dump". Dump people say dump things without putting together their reason. Just because they view Bitcoin as some superior currency that defects all other systems they have created they go around calling it all sirg if things. Why is Bitcoin the only concern when we have many other assets that could be used by terrorists to fund their operations? Fiat already does this, but they will overlook because? She's just being ridiculous.
