If I’m to be really honest, I don’t think it will be easy for anyone to exactly predict what the price of Bitcoin will look like between now till 2029, because I believe there are so many factors that actually impact the price of Bitcoin from now till then. There have been a lot of ups and downs with bitcoin throughout the cycle, so it's not possible to predict what will happen in the future based on what happened in the past.
As far as I’m concerned, it will be better if every investor concentrate on how the market grows overtime than to make any investment based on some price target. This Bitcoin price action could come as a shock either way, so don't make conclusions too soon based on the present trend of Bitcoin.
nobody can predict exact price of bitcoin down the road, that goes without saying. none of us has a crystal ball either. but that is exactly why we have prediction thread like this, so everyone can make their own call based on their own research and understanding. predicting is part of investing anyway. so there is nothing wrong with putting out a price target and sharing what you expect, as long as we all keep in mind it's just a guess, not a guarantee. I totally get what you are saying and I agree, and truly there’s nothing wrong with investors sharing their personal price expectations. But my only worry is more about the impact that such predictions can have on people's investment choices. In some cases the investor gets attached to a specific price target and begins to make decision on whether the market is increasing or decreasing towards their price expectation. I think it's very okay for everyone to make their predictions base on what they’re expecting, but at the same time we have to keep in mind there's a chance the market could go in a totally different direction. And in most cases, when such start to happen the investors gets discouraged or probably even starts to panic.

Should be fun if it is 106k or less. Mining will be shattered which would be very interesting.
It will only be interesting to those who will not have BTC in their portfolio, for others such a scenario would not be fun at all. As for the miners, they are still mining at the limit of profitability (right?), and if the price does not keep up with their costs and gives them the opportunity to make a profit, there will be fewer and fewer of them in that business. The real test for Bitcoin will be after 2030 when we approach the 99% mined figure, which means miners will compete for only 210 000 BTC in the next 100+ years.

Investors should always remember that whatever is said about the price of Bitcoin are just speculations and has no guarantee. It could happen, even above it, or it may not happen. Sure, some predictions might affect some investors to planning there future BTC investment trying to follow the speculated price, especially when the speculations are made by well known rich investors. Perhaps, people can only listen but not totally bank on predictions in there attempt to buying Bitcoin. From my end, I think we might experience more rise in price with the timeframe of this post. 2029 is 3 years away from now, and it's a very long time for Bitcoin to do well in numbers and price.

The Bitcoin market will change a lot from 2027 to early 2029. The market may go beyond the target I will give in early 2029 and reach even higher levels and lower levels. However, since changes in the market are inevitable, I would like to answer in such a way that the Bitcoin market will be above $100k in early 2029. Yes, as I mentioned earlier, the market will change more during this time, that is, it will fall below the target I have given and then rise again, but my final target is that no matter how much the market fluctuates in the meantime, the Bitcoin market will not fall below $100k in early 2029.

By January 2029, its obviously hard to correctly or accurately predict what the price of bitcoin will be exactly, but then, the easiest way to likely be accurate is to say that the price will be or likely be sitting above $100k no matter how much the asset price fluctuates. I know we all expect another all time high by 2028 at least and judging from what the last all time high which is $126k is, expecting the next all time high to be above $200k is definitely conservative enough, so if this number is achieved, I expect that no matter how much the price of bitcoin drops during the follow-up bear market/season, a price of $100k and above should be maintained.

I am still looking forward to see Bitcoin above $100,000 before this year ends, if ever it won't, at least we already made the all-time high above of it, so it should be fine, then I'll just wait months before halving. But for me I won't put a exact January 2029 price. If the next cycle after this one still holds, I just expect we are way above where we are now, not a single number.
That we are having the bear season is an indication that next bull circle will happen. That one is non negotiable because after the bull comes the bear, and after the bear comes the bull, nothing is going to stop it. On bitcoin getting above $100k before the end is not going to happen. Bitcoin will continue to struggle between $60k to $90k. Bitcoin crossing over $100k is not a problem, but price will start getting to that region when we are getting closer to the bull cycle.

We're wishing for a high price of Bitcoin then might just pick the highest of them all, $200k! Speculating is free and that's not going to hurt if it won't happen by that date. But if it does, then we can boast that to ourselves that we've predicted for $200k and we're right all along. Honestly, anything that's above the price of $100k is already a win for many of us. Those who bought from this point of under $80k are winners but I doubt that many will start to take profits by that time. We expect it to be more after hitting that first lane of price if it goes back to $100k.
There is nothing wrong with the speculations we are currently making. Some people might take the $200k price target as motivation to continue accumulating Bitcoin now. We always talk about the Bitcoin price movement cycles in periods in our speculations. But we know the percentage increase might get smaller. Everyone would be happy to see Bitcoin at $200k at the beginning of 2029. But I think maybe at that time the price could be below $200k. There are others who have higher speculations and wishing to see bitcoin at $1M and more. And this motivation is more than enough to keep on holding. It's not quite right to say that getting a prediction wrong doesn't cost you anything. The prediction itself might be harmless. But if people base their investment decisions on those expectations, they can end up fomo in at the top or holding on too long and missing their chance to take profits while waiting for BTC to hit $200k.
Plenty of people missed taking profits last bullrun because everyone was sure BTC would hit $150k.
That's those people's mistake if they rely on the predictions of people. They should know better that everyone is free to speculate on this market and it's not going to be those people's losses but them if they believe on it and follows it as an investment advise. I also don't think everybody sees $100k as a win, cause that's only a 30-50% gain for those who bought under $80k. That's not the kind of return people expect when investing in Bitcoin.
Tbh most people buy Bitcoin expecting big upside, not just another 30-50%.
Profit is profit as they say and I'll take that 30% to 50% of gain rather than any percentage of loss.

next one will be over 10 billion.
as they are morons.
The flaw is the human in this case it seems. If it was the protocol we should be more concerned. For sure people and companies will keep making mistakes, a chain is only as good as its weakest link seems to be the universal rule that will keep being true. My take is the ironic point is the BTC is in demand and wanted as an asset to steal. I think North Korea spent time and money to conduct this hack because they value the product. Its a very round about way of saying the theft could even demonstrate how wanted the asset is and reliable even after being taken. Vice versa the Russian assets which were seized after they started a war and began bombing families in another country demonstrates how vulnerable those assets could be, a few people say this undermines the long term appeal of such an asset in tradable value. I'm not saying I approve of anyone's actions here especially.

I don’t have much expectation for Bitcoin in this year, 2026, with only 1 month and 4 weeks left for the year to come to an end, 2027, before the next halving. I expect Bitcoin to go above $100k and price. I am still likely to drop below that; no matter the level it reaches, I have good expectations for 2028. At least a new all-time high can be experienced, but I will never say Bitcoin won’t go below $100k, a value we are yet to see for the longest I can remember.

Predicting the Bitcoin price has never been easy because many factors are always involved. Its volatility is also never allowed to have anything close to these recent few positive changes with increased adoption and stability keeping things on a good level, but still it's difficult to predict about its price. I am expecting it's going to have a good time in the future, and the Bitcoin price will stay around $225K to $250K because now it's accumulating, giving good investing opportunities to investors. Add this into their portfolio and keep this for a long time while features are increased and people's confidence level is also good. Geopolitics is always going against its price, but hopefully it's going to have enough space due to its nature and independency for having this price range.

There is still a lot of time left to reach 2029, so it is very important to deal with this situation that in this current situation, the price of Bitcoin has come close to $100K. It is not surprising that the price of Bitcoin can be dumped and pumped at any moment, you should note and think that if the price of Bitcoin corrects more at this moment, then the price of Bitcoin will be slightly upward in 2027. Because it is the last season of Q4 2026, the price of Bitcoin is more likely to be naturally stable during this time. However, the price of Bitcoin is still above $70K, so we will never panic and think that it will be around $100K.

I agree that market may not behave exactly in same manner for all four year cycle still when more bitcoiner believe into about the persistence of four year cycle then obviously we are not going have a new all time high by 2028 and it may start occurring through out 2029. I can somehow speculate about the price level by 2029 January: anything around 130k would be highly possible. But, due to higher demand as 2028 halving will make block rewards less than 2 BTC which may not be enough to then demand which may heavily show on bitcoin market. It this will be true then we may have bitcoin around 200k by January 2029 itself.

Halving only slows the rate at which new BTC is issued. It doesn't reduce the amount of Bitcoin already in circulation. There's no guarantee demand will rise to match it by then either. So expecting a major BTC rally based on the halving alone isn't very convincing. In reality, price these days is driven much more by liquidity, capital flows, and macroeconomic and political developments. For BTC to hit $200k, we'd need a lot more things going in its favour than just the halving. Specifically, we'd need serious fresh money coming in , especially from institutions, corporates, funds and maybe even governments.

Every one can give their price of what the price of Bitcoin will be in 2029, i will say that no body knows what it will be, it could be above $200k it could also be below $200k we can't really be sure. Bitcoin is a speculative market anybody can give what they feel like but what i have noticed in Bitcoin is that it keep appreciation in value as the year goes on, it could even go above $200k, meanwhile what the price will be in the future time shouldn't be much of our concern rather our concern should be how we can continue accumulating Bitcoin because definitely we will surely witness more Bitcoin All Time High in years to come.

This is correct, the demand will stay the same, but the supply would be same, and the new coins would be slow to produce as well. Meaning that miners would not be able to sell as much bitcoin as they are right now, this would mean that the market sell pressure would be lower and that also means that you are going to end up with a lot higher prices for same exact amount of buyers. That always makes it better; this is why after every single halving, we are seeing a huge bull run that reaches the ATH price in a year. In 2016 we had one; in 2017 we went up; in 2020 we had one; in 2021 we went up; and in 2024 we had one; in 2025 we went up. So it is only natural to assume that after we have one in 2028, we are going to see a bull run in 2029.

Ah, true. I kinda forgot about that. Your concern is not baseless. Look at the 2025 bull run for example. Plenty of people missed their window to take profit because everybody was convinced btc was heading to $150k or that a supercycle was on the way. Some even ended up losing money. I agree with you , and that's exactly what I've been saying. Prediction is just a personal expectation , not a guarantee . And we gotta be ready for the scenarios that go against our call too.

I'm not saying I approve of anyone's actions here especially.
On the one hand, these funds are vulnerable because they are frozen, but on the other hand, they are currently very safe even from possible confiscation by the EU, because the country who guards them (Belgium), expressly opposes this. The problem is that the war will end one day, and Russia will certainly not remain passive if these funds are taken away, which could lead to serious legal consequences for the EU. Cryptocurrencies are naturally far more vulnerable because they are within the reach of hackers, and those who should be concerned about their security obviously do not invest enough money and knowledge in additional security. Personally, I am not optimistic about this issue, considering that artificial intelligence will only progress even more and enable hackers to be even more successful in hacking CEXs.

Btc price for Jan 20 2029 pick a number.
Maybe all of us here really understand that predicting and speculating on the price of Bitcoin from now to 2029 can be said to be very speculative, however we all understand that outside and on Bitcointalk there are already many people speculating on Bitcoin prices in 2029 which are very diverse. My understanding is of course that I speculate based on experience that has occurred, it is estimated that the Halving will occur in April 2028, meaning that when January 20 2029 the halving cycle has ended, a new ATH will be formed for Bitcoin. I take an example: • Cycle 1 (2012 Halving): ATH was reached about 12 months later (November 2013).
• Cycle 2 (2016 Halving): ATH was reached about 17 months later (December 2017).
• Cycle 3 (2020 Halving): ATH was reached about 18 months later (November 2021).
• Cycle 4 (April 2024 Halving): ATH is reached approximately 18 months later in October 2025 (at around US$126,198).
So, from experience that has occurred there will be a new ATH for Bitcoin, if the ATH occurs on January 20 2029, meaning that 10 months later an ATH will be formed. If that happens I predict Bitcoin price range ( $160k to $160k ).

I can still see the price somewhere near ATH in the month of January. Bitcoin is already trying to push and even a major event like binance hack did not really affect the price by a lot which means bulls are already stronger. Price might still fall a bit until the end of 2026 but I really expect a quick recovery in January of 2027. It has been a few months since bitcoin was struggling but we still did not see the extreme bottom.
This is just one of my speculation though and I myself will not make any financial decisions based just on these speculations. I am bullish for long term but I do not consider 2 months as long term so can't really be sure about my speculation.

It will be between $109 k and $120k because the price has dropped down to $77k but that is not the price bitcoiners are expecting in this month of November which is the month many people use to prepare themselves ahead of December and new year celebration, I don't think celebration can stop the bearish season and bullish season not to happen, and one of it will definitely going to happen for some to be happy and other to be sad because that is not their wish, base on my little research, I don't think the price will remain in this current price till January.
