Cases like that will depend on the law enforcement authorities. If bribery can be done by companies and the courts easily favor the company, we know how the law works in that country.

But if those law enforcement agencies are corrupt, then I don't think that those who are filing the case will win here.

It is a large amount that is indeed worth fighting for. But we know the risks of facing big companies with money in their hands. Hopefully, there is justice that can truly be upheld for gamblers. They have already lost a lot of money, but when they gain a win, it is made difficult for them.

It's a big amount that's why they are fighting for it. Unfortunately, our country became so corrupt with the current administration that anyone think that they can get away with it, including the casinos behind this so called "glitch" issues and they don't want to pay the winners.

Here I am complaining about my country, this shows that the Philippines is more corrupt than government in my country, this can't be going on for many years already and no one is taking legal actions on these casinos.

They are forcefully taking from gamblers and settling the law enforcers to avoid court orders or cases, shame on those on PH that this is affecting, the more you all keep silent the more it will get worse.

If anyone here is from PH they should stop using casinos over there and focus on international online casinos like Stake, Bitz, Roobet, Rainbet, and few others that gamblers have talked well about on here

An online betting company here in PH refuses to pay their winnings. The audacity of these local companies. They only want to take profit. They will use system glitch as an excuse so they will avoid paying. You can lose a lot, but you will have a hard time getting your winnings, most especially if it's already big. As a person who lives here and knows their practices, this is the reason why I don't trust them and prefer playing in casinos advertised here in the forum.

Even if the trial hasn't started, I already know the outcome. Even if they manage to win the case, they will probably get less, or worse, they will lose, which is not impossible considering how they do things here. They will get nothing at all, and they just put their lives at risk.

Well, for them, it's cheaper to pay someone and do an inside job than to pay back all the bettors.

That's actually a huge amount of money, if we're talking about eight players, that works out to more than $5 million per player on average. I think that when people are playing for such enormous sums, withdrawing the money is never going to be straightforward. Before allowing withdrawals of that size, a casino will almost certainly conduct additional checks, request identity verification and possibly carry out further compliance reviews. It's unlikely to be a quick process.

I don't know exactly how things work in the Philippines, but I suspect that when we're talking about amounts this large, casinos will always find reasons to delay withdrawals.

In my opinion, it's time to create a separate page where information about such incidents and untrustworthy gambling sites can be compiled. Such actions simply cast a bad light on all other gambling sites and create an extremely negative image for the entire gambling market! This isn't the first thread I've come across here about the blatantly illegal actions of gambling sites that are licensed but behave exactly like "black market" sites.

Some institutions are good too, if you have gambled your money legally with a license, then they can definitely help you. If the law is not on your side, then understand that the companies have secretly bribed the court by giving money. It is better for them to take the case to another court, it will make some difference. Obviously, they have placed such a big bet and if they are winning, how much money do they make? If they are not serious about it, then they themselves are very rich. If the gamblers have also placed a bet legally, then I think the law of this country will take responsibility for it because they know that it is they who legalize them, so they will have to spend some more money, either they will leave it or get their money.

Any sector where big money are is corrupted. We just dont see picture fully. I think such cases were casino refuse to pay winnings happens everywhere, not everyone just announce that. What is worse in that situation, there is no solution to that. Especially for online casinos, where users despite contacting support, has no other way to communicate. In situation like that, gambler has very low chances to prove that his is right, because his possibilities will never match possibilities and resources corporations have.

I think the two casinos are just un reputable and they actually do not also care about their reputation, I guess that's because they have some regulatory backing. There was this old thread we discussed about a casinos (I think it happened in an European casino), they experienced system glitch and that resulted to a lot of gamblers winning more than usual before the casino could detect and resolve the issue and because they care about their reputation or they know that the laws with not support them, they paid everyone that won during that glitch.

I hope that these bettors are going to win the case and receive their winning. Also, if this is what's been going on with the casinos there, why not gamblers in your place chose a more reputable casino?

I think you are talking about ArenaPlus and BingoPlus here that are both under DigiPlus Interactive Corp. that has gained license from PAGCOR.

Based on my research, one of its complainants even won nearly $9m through "lucky spin" in ArenaPlus. However, the betting company refused to pay the bettor because of the said "system glitch" or system malfunction during the time the bettor wins. But instead, he was forced to sign a waiver that automatically remove his right to claim the jackpot prize and instead offered a small financial assistance with an amount of only $4700.

The case is not just all about of these betting companies who are cheating their players, but it will also ruin the credibility of PAGCOR as they fail to protect the rights of every Filipino player towards responsible gaming.
So gamblers will just go to other casinos without these problems. DigiPlus will lose customers, the government will lose tax money, and gamblers will learn how to use crypto and VPNs.
A time or two, and these casinos will figure out it's easier to pay players than to lose them.

P.S. No idea how it is in the Philippines, but $50 million doesn't sound like a big sum for a casino. I don't get why they choose to scam gamblers. They could put it into their marketing campaign and even make money from it.

ààà as ÀWell, for them, it's cheaper to pay someone and do an inside job than to pay back all the bettors.
I am not believing some huge winning on gambling sites anymore because of this kind of news. Gambling sites only want gambler to be losing, but if any gambler won huge amount of money, why are they not paying. Some winning can be true but some are just for advertisement.

It is good how this gambling sites are sued, let us see what will happen and who the law will favour.

I readily believe it, having read similar stories before.
But unfortunately, any online casino has a built-in advantage over the player. It's easy for you to enter the casino, but difficult for you to exit. Or, more precisely, for your money. Casino owners are always happy to accept deposits from us, but as soon as it's time to withdraw even $50, endless document checks and questions often begin. Sometimes, they claim to find alternative accounts, or suddenly your deposited crypto turns out to be "dirty." It's a complete mess.

On the gambling sites that I am using, I easily withdraw $50 or such small amount of money. But I think there could be a problem if you win huge amount of money and want to withdraw it. They may be asking for KYC, but that is better than giving other excuses for just the gambler not to be able to withdraw. If I have provided all necessary information but the gambling site is not letting me withdraw, I will know it is a scam gambling site. I have not seen such site before but I have heard about them.

It's a huge amount of money, and I doubt they will be willing to pay it back. This is one of the problems I have with casinos. They keep losing credibility, yet they don't seem to care how much trust they lose. When players lose money, it's never a problem, but when they win, suddenly there is an issue. We all know that casinos make money from players' losses, but there should still be some level of fairness and honesty. That's how many big brands have built trust and remained in the casino business for so long.

How is it possible that so many customers played, and you are now claiming it was a system glitch? What happened to fixing the glitch in the first place? Or was the glitch simply left there because it helped you make more money from your customers?

This is really sad , they always wish for people to lose ,and when someone finally win they start making excuses not to pay them there money , I could remember few years ago ,when about 5 persons won a maximum amount on the bet app, immediately they began to face glitch and that resulted to so much dragging on Twitter
This is part of the reason why gamblers should know that the gambling platform are not their friend but are just in for the business. if it be possible, read all terms and condition and be sure that before you start using one that you are sure they don't have a thing against you. just like players don't find it convenient loosing, eve the casino and most of the gambling platforms are not ready to give out what gamblers have won because if the players wins, the gambler looses and vise versa.

paying such amount back might lead to them being bankrupt and i am sure that they will try to frustrate the complainant just so they don't get to pay it back. it is just an unfortunate situation that if you loose huge you get to take it all in but if the gambling platform looses when you win they struggle to accept similar fate. there are even claims that most of the big wins for some of this not so reputable betting platforms are even staged. this calls for an high level of carefulness when chosen a casino or betting platform you are dealing with.

I understand your skepticism, but I wasn't speaking metaphorically, I was speaking literally. Indeed, one online casino, which no longer runs a signature campaign, didn't want to pay me $50. I deposited $100, and that $50 was an absolute win (there were no wagering requirements). The only thing I want to point out is that this was my first withdrawal from there. But that's no excuse. No online casino has ever asked me for a bunch of documents when making my first withdrawal. You know what, did it help me, and how did I get my winnings into my wallet? I told them I'd write about them here on the forum.

These things really make you angry, if the technical problem is yours why do I have to lose out?
If I exploit a bug in the system then it's right that I don't have to receive anything, but if you make a mistake why does it have to be the end user (who is also the one keeping the casino alive?).
Let's say it works like Amazon's pricing errors, if you put an item up for sale and get the amount wrong, I buy it and you don't finalize the shipment, you're in the wrong.
Because the mistake is yours and I've always been taught that those who make mistakes pay.
But you really want or don't want a system that responds this way, it will find a way not to pay the winners and this is absolutely not fair.
The casinos proposed here in the forum (in most cases) are "controlled" by us users, as we use them and can release reviews, but there is no safe place in any way.
In the end, those who want to screw over others find a way to do so, while those who want to save themselves from being screwed always remain with a handful of flies in their hands. Cry

This is becoming a thing in the PH and I really want to ask what the PH law makers are doing, all this while they could have used some casinos to make good examples, turned against them and make them pay big time, it's becoming a normal thing in that country for them to deny gamblers win and blame it on a glitch, are there anyone alive in that country?
This is a normal thing in the current admin. Yeah, everything is normal despite being wrong. In fact, there was a huge issue with PCSO winners in the past, and PAGCOR still does nothing about it. We are cheated in all areas—gambling, government projects, etc. The funny thing is, we never hear someone get in jail. All they do is investigate, and the result is always blaming the system.

Money can easily bribe officials just to keep silent. In the end, none of these winners get a penny. Unless they are close to the powerful individuals in the country.

If that only happen to one or two person, then maybe we can accept their reasoning. But having 8 complainants? its clear that their management have a problem. They don't honor those big wins and that is the most shadiest part out there.

The problem is government agency handling that case didn't do anything.

It seems that they are been paid to protect those casinos involve here, much better for people to learn from the experience of those 8 winners. Since if it happens they also win to. For sure that casinos will not honor their win to.

So best not to play there anymore.

Very obvious they are part of the syndicate. honestly, I hope they are reading the forum and see this comment, they will know how angry we are with the government and how even the agencies that are supposed to protect us seem to be corrupt. So if these regulators are corrupt, then how can we be sure that the games themselves are not rigged?

What can you expect from this corrupt government, for all we know these operators could be in connivance with government officials so gamblers are not really protected here.

They'll be happy if you keep losing but when you win big they will make an excuse that it's a bug and then you complain to PAGCOR and they might make a judgment in favor of the casinos without even looking into the case. So you bring your case to court and they could bribe the lawyers, your case could even reach the Supreme Court at most, it might take 20 years before it's decided, you might already be dead by then.
It is not strange that corruption occurs in it, there is still the possibility that operators and the government are close friends so that when there are problems related to winning large amounts of players, they will continue to quibble.

But I think it would be unfair if they did not take the side of the player who has already proven that it is a legitimate victory, while I myself do not know what happened there including PAGCOR handled the case, has anyone previously succeeded?

You as its citizens do you see this PAGCOR will be fair?
As far as I'm concerned, it is perfectly understandable why players would have doubts about PAGCORs decision-making in this regard... First of all, being a regulatory body, it's obliged to oversee the adherence to the gambling laws by operators and protect the interests of players. so just in case a casino claims a large jackpot to be a system malfunction, it is supposed to have concrete evidence for its position and cannot rely only on some excuses for avoiding payments. but ofcourse, I don't mean that every time such cases arise due to corruption or automatic preference to the side of casino operators on the part of PAGCOR. However, the lack of any investigation of the issue and a transparent presentation of the situation may easily give rise to such speculations... For me, the principle of fairness implies thorough examination of the complaint of both parties, presentation of concrete facts and the willingness to punish operators for misconduct when it's necessary.

Oh, I want to see where this will go.

I've talked about our local online casinos here on the forum many times, though I don't name them. A lot of them are fishy when it comes to RTP and other gambling rules, and I think this is payback if those bettors ever win the case.

Regulated, licensed, but unwatched. That's their true identity. The government is milking them, but local online casinos are also milking gamblers without restraint. Winning is very difficult, and they will block you on the way out if it's above their limit.

I will be watching where this will go.
