My question is mostly how is this even allowed? Why are they allowed to take the money as a deposit but refusing withdrawal literally within 10 minutes citing the lack of information about my place of residence? ( Which I'm sure they have a bunch of Telemetry already confirming I am a resident of where I said I am )
Again I know it's a really small amount compared to the amounts being thrown around here but I still think its a scummy way to do business and I wouldn't recommend anyone to use epicbet for anything.
First is the deposit, then my refusal of withdrawal, answer from an agent about why they refused withdrawal, and more withdrawals which have never been a problem before.
Unfortunately, this is how most casinos operate, they first take your money, then force you to go through a kyc verification process, knowing that at that point, you no longer have a choice but to comply or else, they will hold your money hostage and possibly later take possession of it if you fail to comply with their request.
But most times, users are to blame for issues like this because ..
1. Most users don't read a casinos terms and conditions before engaging and depositing money into the casino.
2. Even when some users read the terms and find out there is the possibility that the casino could request for KYC verification in the future, they still go ahead to sign up and deposit money into the casino and when the casino starts demanding for kyc verification, it becomes a problem for the user.
if you know that submitting your personal information to a casino for kyc verification is a big deal for you, then simply avoid any casino that states in their terms that they can ask a user to pass kyc verification for any reason at any time in the future.
And if a casino that claimed they would never ask a user to submit their personally information for kyc verification, in the future turns around to start doing otherwise without formally announcing a change in their terms and conditions, then such a casino is nothing but a scam casino and when accused, the casino should better refund the user his or her deposit and close the user's account for the sake of their reputation if they plan to continue providing their services to those who don't have a problem giving up their personal information for KYC verification.
