First off, it's "career" not "carrier". Secondly, you cannot compare doing something you love with something you do professionally. You should ask yourself if your current job gives you the satisfaction you need, and I would not advise you to switch jobs instantly too. There is a need to first know things about your dream job, and not jump into it because of the excitement to avoid regrets.
It's best to make your findings before making your final decisions about anything, on what aligns with your vision and passion to keep going when the desire and excitement dies off.

It am in so much confusion.
Interest and money are the main factors why people choose a profession. In your case, you have both. You are interested in web development, and the pay is good. Many people don't practice what they studied in the university. They have to switch careers for several reasons, including high pay. I have a question for you: are you interested in advancing your career in the textile industry? If not, you can still make an impact in the IT industry so you wouldn't experience brain drain. You might end up becoming one of the best in your area of interest.

You’re in the stage of here and there! I personally will want you to allow yourself go through it and watch where you mind stick more to; basically there is passion and there is need so the need right now might be the tech but your passion is textiles or reverse be the case that which could make you happy and at the same time put food on your table to the extent of no lack but provision towards external factors then that should be the right thing but however nobody outside you can choose of tell you what is right it’s what you sit and advice yourself that becomes the right decision or choice.

I don't think there is anything that beats passion when it's comes to the direction of your life especially in the aspect of career.
To me personally nothing is a waste in this life as long as you are working on what you want to achieve, I don't know the full story but what if is because of the textile you studied in school that made you discover your passion, some things on a plain level seems useless because you don't recognize them as what was beneficial to you at last, but if you change your perspective or you think on a deeper level you will see how significant that initial part was to put you where you are today, so if you decide to abandon textile for the reason to be focused on their passion then I support that, it was never a waste At the end of the day the best feeling is fulfillment and what is fulfillment when you fail to do what's your passionate about.

That's really a tough question you have given us! Really, uhh I don't think anyone can give you any proper answers to that! There is a saying, " Life is like a box of chocolates, you never know what you're gonna get". Meaning, life is unpredictable.. And the fact is, nobody knows you better than yourself. So do what your heart tells you. No need to try to follow others like a flock of sheep. Society will tell you to do this, do that. But fuck that, who cares! Do things that you enjoy and have confidence you can build something there! Like you, I'm also discovering my goals. It's a work in progress, really! Maybe you can try both, and see which one works out for ya! It's not like if you switch to IT, you can never own a business, or forget everything about your textile knowledge! I don't think so!

Remove career from your head first and identify how you really want your life to be like. After you have chosen that, take a look at the two career path and check which one aligns with your initial expectations of life. Then go with that one and never look back. And again as you choose one, doesn't mean you will. Abandon the other, find a way to balance both. But one of them will get more of your attention.
This should clear of any confusion you have.

If I switch carriers now, would that make me an idiot? And am I being brain dead?
Of course not, I would rather say that you should have chosen done your degree in IT as well if you actually have an interest in it. Never choose your career only because you believe it has better scope, always go for something that you generally love doing. The reason why I'm saying this is because when you have a professional career in something you love, you will never get tired or fed up of the work you do, but you will always enjoy it and then you will have more productivity in your work because of this, but if you do something only because you believe it has better scope or it can allow you to run a business, you are forcing it onto yourself, and that can get difficult over time. I would suggest that you take the job you got offered, because you will surely do good in the sector since you also have experience and an interest in development. IT and technology are the future, and I'm pretty sure you are going to do great in the future if you choose this as your career. Also, if the salary range is good, you can start saving up from it, and over time, you can also start a textile business since you got knowledge for that as well. So it's going to be a win-win for you.

The point is that you know what you love doing best, and it is always good to do what you love because that is where you are likely to find the most happiness. You will also find the work easier to do.So, my advice to you is to choose the one you love best because sometimes, the field we study in school may not be the field we are best at. For one reason or another, some people end up studying certain courses because of the job opportunities available in those fields. For this reason, I advise you to choose the one you love most. In fact, there are many people working in fields different from the ones they studied in school, but they are doing well because they are good at what they do.

You're not an idiot or brain-dead. You're just on the path that God has chosen for you. There might be something not good about that career for you, and that's why God gave you this opportunity. Also changing direction is a part of life. As you said you have the skills and experience to work as a full stack developer so then please give it a try. You should always work towards your dream of having your own business. Just remember one thing that your degree should not define your whole career. What matters is finding something you enjoy doing and that can help you build a successful future.

Yes, I agree with you that a person can improve more in the work that he loves to do, that he likes himself. Especially, since you are good at this subject, you should use this Suyok. Utilizing your skills will be the best thing to do. If you do the work that you give priority to, I think you will improve a lot in that work. Sometimes it is good to listen to your own mind. No matter what people do against their mind, they can never improve from it, so I am saying the same thing again and again about this. If it seems easy to you, you can start with the name of God. This may create a good Suyok for you and help you do something good in life.

Switching careers doesn't make you an idiot. The only thing that matters is finding the right part, which is that tech. Since Textile hasn't worked out for you yet, then there's no need in wasting your precious time in it. Nowadays alot of people who have degrees in different fields are all running towards tech because of the different opportunities it offers. Just follow your heart, if the tech excites you go for it, then you can also be using your free time to work towards building your own business , since that's your dream. I am an Engineering graduate and I have been getting into tech stuff lately because I don't know which one among the two will be beneficial to my future.

I graduated in textiles; at the same time, I was enthusiastic about tech. So I learned a lot about development. I have lots of experience doing this. I completed quite a few freelance projects as a full-stack developer.
Since I just recently graduated, my job life will begin now. But recently I got an offer from an IT company as a full-stack developer; the salary range is quite good compared to my graduation sector.
I always feel great , and enjoy development. That is why I spent lot's of time doing this. But I graduated in a completely different sector , thinking about the job market. Since it has a great demand in my country. Also, my dream was always to have my own business; that is why I chose this sector for my graduation.
If I switch carriers now, would that make me an idiot? And am I being brain dead?
It am in so much confusion.
The market has already given you that vote of confidence, it is just left for you to give it that full trust and acceptance, because a company has taken a good look at the skills you possess and decided to give you some money to do the thing you actually enjoy, which can be in any shape of for considered as confusion but a top most validation. You don't need permission to do something you already know deep down you want.

Changing careers isn't a stupid idea. Interests can change over time, and what once brought you pleasure may no longer bring you satisfaction. It's foolish to continue doing something that no longer gives you pleasure, as you'll end up doing it badly. Plan ahead if you can; save some money; make the change; and good luck in your new profession.
It depends on different factors if u ask me, changing career might be beneficial at times and sometimes could go wrong. Changing career can be beneficial when someone lose interest in a certain career and finds a better opportunity somewhere but at the same it can still go wrong. It still needs proper planning because any careless decision can be risky. I think before making the decision, proper comparison and analysis should be made and decision should not just be made due to emotions or how you feel somewhere so you don't end up regretting. New career may come with their own challenges that's why proper comparison is necessary.

There is something you said about doing tech work, "that you enjoy doing it"
Any career or any jobs that you find it meaningful and enjoyable whenever you keep doing it is the best career path. Even though you haven't gotten any profits out of it, so long as you derive joy whenever you face it, that's the career path.
Textile is good, you learnt it perfectly, could also give you more money than tech, no doubt. But the question is, do you derive joy and happiness whenever you are doing it,nor you struggle with it all the time?
If you derive joy in both career, and you have the strength and the know how to chase the both career, do that, if you can't, choose the one with the most joyful moments.

You were into textiles, and you worked as a full-stack developer. Bro, you were in the wrong lane. You should have chosen an IT course! I've never seen anyone doing this, haha. But good for you, as you knew the demand and worked hard for it, and now you can easily pursue your career in it too. But it would be a lot easier if you had an IT-related degree.
I'm happy, bro, that you got the job offer, as these days jobs for newbies are almost gone due to AI. But there is still room for skilled people and for those who have done some work before applying for jobs, as you're not a freshie anymore.
Don't be confused, bro. Do what your heart tells you. If you wanted to do business, then you could manage some time for that. But you shouldn't have taken the job. Finding a job is also not as hard as you think it is for people like you, as you're skilled. It's hard for those who aren't skilled. You can find many projects online, even as a freelancer. But, bro, if I were you and had the opportunity to start a business and enough financial capability too, then I would start the business first and look for a job later. But if I had no funds, then I would have to do a job.
So don't switch careers now. Start slowly, test things out in business, and see how they go. Whenever you start, don't start with weak hands. You have to be confident about it.

Congratulations as you graduate. I'll just leave you this advise, there are a lot of people who keeps on looking for a job. Whether it's related to what they have studied or not, what matters to them right now is the food that they can bring to their tables. And that job offer is what going to make it happen. I think that you do you, you can pursue what you like but if you're in a tough situation and you need income, take the offer, work for it and gain experience. It's a good stepping stone to have an experience and do your passion next if you're ready based on your financial status.

It is not a must that you go in line with what you study in school. You can always change careers provided you have the skills and you love what you do because at the end of the day the most important thing is how you feel about what you do, and if you feel happy, then you are doing the right thing. There are some people who find that what they are doing does not make them happy because they never go for what they really want. There is no delay in going after what you want; life is short, and you need to do what makes you happy.

Just try to focus on those things which would give you benefit instead of doing both. Honestly you are overthinking this big time lol. No one cares what your college major is after you have actually built stuff and can code. You already have a portfolio and some freelancing experience. Thats going to be way more valuable than a lot of new grads with a piece of paper. If they are paying well and you like development, why would you take a textiles job just because thats what you assumed the market was looking for years ago? Markets evolve. Dreams do too.

dude, this is your life. You can literally do whatever you want to do with it literally as long as it is legal. There is no script to life or manual on how to live life if you haven’t find fulfillment in the thing that you’re currently do and you feel like you need to switch go ahead and switch to something where you find satisfaction in. Nobody has it exactly figured out and we continue to trust and test that what we are doing is right and would lead us to our goal. So the answer to your question lies with you and not with us.

To experience doubt when deciding to change the way of life is quite normal situation and nothing to be ashamed of for any person. Changing your plan because you want something else in order to become happier requires having the strength and willingness to be the master of your destiny. No one knows how to live and can prescribe you something definite, and everybody has the opportunity to decide what he wants just not to overstep the line of common sense and law. People usually become anxious while looking for the purpose of life, but it help to check if your decisions do not contradict your soul.
