Amazon & Flipkart are now full of Gifts for Diwali & Bhaidooj. So, in this festive session, consider giving a Amazon or Flipkart Gift Card to your loved ones or buy them some Gift directly from Amazon or Flipkart through Bitcoin.

For Amazon

Step 1: Convert BTC to USDT-BEP20 using SimpleSwap.io, Jumper.Exchange or C4Swap.com

Step 2: Buy Amazon Pay Gift Card using USDT-BEP20 from CryptoGiftZone.com

For Flipkart

BitRefill: Buy Flipkart Gift Card using BTC from https://www.bitrefill.com/in/en/gift-cards/flipkart-india/

CoinsBee: Buy Flipkart Gift Card using BTC from https://www.coinsbee.com/en/gift-cards/e-commerce/flipkart/

Interesting. I knew about bitrefill from one of the previous topics, good to know it also includes flipkart giftcards.
Didn't knew about cryptogiftzone site, has anybody else tried it and used their Amazon Pay gift cards with it ?

There are a number of other platforms where we can purchase gift cards using cryptos. I still consider that as a conversion and gifting gift cards instead of real cryptos is still just the traditional way of gifting. Instead of these gift cards, we can directly gift cryptos loaded in a paper wallet along with a tutorial about how to use it. That I think will be more useful instead of the regular gift cards because those amazon and flipkart gift cards can only be used for shopping but cryptos can actually start their investment journey.

I would personally not swap my cryptos for these gift cards because if I have to do so, I would simply use UPI or my bank account to purchase gift card directly on amazon or flipkart instead of going to any third parties because that way I would save some markup cost.

I agree with your point but OP is trying to help new users with his knowledge. Which, according to me is fine.

Indian mentality: "Ye kya hai!" Then you go on to make them understand what it is & its benefits. The next reply would be "Theek hai par ye to gift nahi hain na". This is India and Indian mentality; cousins, brother & sister will not consider those paper wallet worth as a gift cause the gift places more importance on the festival when it is a physical thing.

It is your point of view, and I think it is okay to do what you feel comfortable/sensible according to you.

I personally think gifting crypto in paper wallet is a bad idea if the other person is not tech savvy and not interested in cryptocurrencies.
It would be a hassle for them to use those funds and in some cases, they might not use it at all thinking it of too much of a hassle.
In that case, the funds will just remain idle in the wallet. While that is a good thing since the value of it will keep increasing over time but only if the person has the keys to it.
In some case, the person might try to access those funds but might get end up losing the funds on scam websites if they import the keys there.
Gifting crypto in paper wallets is only a good idea if the person receiving it already knows about bitcoin or has the eagerness to learn it.

It can be a double-edged sword, the person might learn about bitcoin in the process of converting them into real money or just end up using a scam site or even hand them over to a hacker due to a stupid mistake. I recommend direct gifting with the hope of getting them to educate about bitcoin but it comes with the risks.

Yeah I mean I already mentioned that as well but someone who has the eagerness to learn it probably won't go ahead and do a transaction without actually learning the basics about it.
The basics of bitcoin will already tell that person about the obvious risks of importing the keys into a scam site.
If a person already knows about bitcoin then it would be a great idea to gift them directly in bitcoin.

P.S: This Diwali I am accepting gifts in bitcoin, thank you all  Tongue
