Something I’d like to know is who is arranging these. Are they arranged by the betting sites or is there some third party that is doing it and the betting sites are just listing them? Either way it is two different things. Just because a match is fixed by the organisers doesn’t mean the bookmaker will be involved. There should be some concrete evidence linking them. Either way I wouldn’t bet on matches where players aren’t even identifiable.

Sound like match fixing but in a strange way, since the matches are fake, players fake and they do spend money to organize such things.

We can never really know what happens behind the scenes.

Yes they do sponsor a lot of these clubs, yes the fans support them, but many do not really know what goes on underneath the skin. They do it for the love of the brand and sometimes may not even play much there.

How do you guys still notice this? Because even with the way 1xbit is being promoted here in my country, I don’t follow up anything that has to do with them talking more about watching matches that are being organized by them. The gambling site op is referring to is 1xbet and I have always thought 1xbet and 1xbit has something income.  Because of how 1xbit is a well known scam casino i have always avoided 1xbet because they look alike and it is so unfortunate that 1xbet couldn't even build a good reputation to prove people that they are different from 1xbit because many normally think this two casino are the same. I just feel gamblers just need to be careful with casinos that looks the same to a casino that already have bad reputation.

Both are also selective scammers.

If people are there to even bet of sports that didn't exists or not played then it is just the ignorance of the players, they can't go and bet on random sports everyday, it is fine to do on a random weekend for fun but you need to understand the sport to an extent then only it will make it interesting when you bet on it and waiting for the results.

It's possible actually but it would only be more believable when one or more of those involved face legal consequences.

Sportsbook use these informations that they have about a particular game to manipulate the odds which might trick gamblers into thinking that they are betting on a game that has a high chance of playing out according to their prediction only for them to end up losing because it was all arranged, their benefits from this is from the losses that gamblers end up incurring. A site that is always full of drama because it is problematic but indeed this site is still widely trusted by some gamblers and even still sponsors some big clubs.

If indeed this is proven to be true then things like this should be avoided because after all the manipulation of the results by doing Match fixing or bet manipulation is clearly a fatal thing for a big site just because they want profits.
On the other hand it's also quite interesting to see what the competition is manipulating because I don't think it's possible for a big competition to do that because they wouldn't be that brave to do it unless there are insiders who come into play in making these conditions look more real unlike manipulation.

I avoid matches or leagues I have never heard of for this same reason mentioned by OP because it's simply playing against a house that's rigged and in control of the outcome if you carefully look at it from my perspective.
Rather, the more known and transparent leagues that are subject to investigation for scandals are best so as to avoid these traps and lose my funds.

Although even if we all talk about fixed matches we still don't have any evidence of any of these but one thing about these fixed games is that it is most likely to happen in leagues that are not prominent, avoiding leagues you have mot heard of is actually a good move but if it exists it doesn't really mean that you are completely safe from it because Even in prominent leagues it is possible for this to also happen as well and players would not even know that it is fixed.
Most times gamblers are wrong about this, they say that a game is fixed simply because they ended up losing their bet.

Here in my region of my country we have a local league of football, which has some significant following in the state, some people bet on it but I don't, because I have the hunch there could be some serious corruption going on, the kind of corruption which could lead to match fixing.
My state is famous for harboring some dangerous and powerful criminal organizations, there is always a possibility those organizations paid players some money or gave them some gold in order to secure millions in betting profits.
It is rather a regional thing, so I feel comfortable betting in national leagues and international ones with more respect and recognition, like La liga.

In the few times I have used 1xBet to place bets, I have never experience this but I have been scammed in 1xBet, I deposited 1,000 Naira on my 1xBet account, they sent me a message on my email that they have received my deposit but when I logged to my account I didn't see any money. I reached out to them through email, and they insisted that I didn't make any deposit, after much deliberation without me recovering my deposit I stopped using 1xBet, and I can never allow someone I know to use 1xbet.

This happened in the local basketball in my country. They're amateur players and are used by betting sites and their big bosses, who either bet against their own teams or make those free throws intentionally missed, and even allow opponents to play easy on them, including easy steals for them too. So, they open a betting line for a sport or league that they created for such purpose? I'm wondering, are there really people betting to an unfamiliar league? I assume they created a football league on their own? Is there a live broadcast for it? Or it's the local football league with a twist of game fixing?

I don't understand how it is working to be honest, they are paying fake players to do funny business during the match, that's what you mean? But how this guys could replace real players from a team? You mean all people from the team and the staff are accomplice or at least aware of that and they don't say anything? Maybe they just see it as another virtual betting where everything is just programmed and not actually real humans playing on the field. I actually don’t know how these fake games appear, but all I can say is for someone to be convinced enough to stake on them, it should be very convincing for the bettors unless they are just doing it for the betting's own sake.

We can’t rule out fraud completely from casinos, the thing is most casinos one way or the other wants bettors to lose so they can make better profits and at such are always ready to go to any length just to make profits, what i personally do is to remain careful while betting, first i try to use casinos with lesser history of fraud and also ensure to bet on those major leagues like EPL, Bundesliga etc that i know that it is often difficult to manipulate, take the champions league for example, how much will a casino pay that will make a team like Arsenal to compromise? that is why i prefer betting on such matches, ever since i had an experience whereby a game i predicted played but the casino later adjusted the shoreline to suit them, i have since then chosen to bet on only those matches that i know are from top leagues that cannot be manipulated.

I think there are people who just wouldn’t mind betting on some random sports/games, even though they’re unsure of the whether the games are real or not, since it’s just merely for fun. Repeatedly playing or betting on the same teams or games sometimes can get a little boring, and so people wouldn’t mind stepping outside of the box a bit. And I think if it’s with money they don’t mind losing, it shouldn’t be much of a big deal, as long as they feel entertained while at it.
