Personally, I see this fight as nothing more than a way for these fighters if you can even call them that to make some money. Sure, Jake Paul has built a popular persona for himself, but he doesn’t really interest me. I won’t be watching the fight live, it just doesn’t entertain me the way it seems to entertain those who got caught up in the hype surrounding his previous bouts. I’ll just check the result later. I have no intention of placing a bet on this match though, if you look at the patterns from his past fights and consider how much he loves money, you could potentially bet on the underdog. That said, I certainly wouldn’t recommend doing so.

I think the date is telling as well.  I doubt Jake believes he'll be spending Christmas with a broken nose...  Seems like he is instead giving himself the gift of a boxing win to establish himself as recovered from the last fight and give himself a nice little payday.  With Jake's injury being one that can be recovered completely from, I think he probably wins this fight easily so long as he is in shape, which I am sure he will be.  Might be worth betting this one depending on the odds.

He doesn't need best marketing specialists because what he does isn't something that needs a genius mind. He was popular on YouTube (that's where you need to be a marketing genius to make yourself popular and he succeed, he did too many things right in terms of marketing but what I mean is that I don't see anything genius in his boxing marketing, otherwise everything was perfect in his lifetime) and then he started very smart thing, he used his background of a Disney boy and started training in boxing, hired very good trainers and has all the money and the environment to optimally train, eat and recover.

Seriously, this youtuber still doesn't want to take a sit for a moment after he was sent to the theatre. Well why should he? There's a lot of money to be made in the ring. How does he want to die this time around?by KO I guess, since it appears he just loves being beaten to a pulp.

I wouldn't be surprised if this brings him as much money as the Joshua fight because, I guess so, it will be streamed on Netflix again? And everybody knows that the whole crowd will want to see him come back and get his face smashed again. Even if it is only for that reason, Netflix knows they have to fire up additional servers again to serve all the viewers. It is going to be a success for him no matter how the fight ends.

I have been thinking about this and whether I would have my face smashed for the money he is making per fight. The purses per fight are insane. His popularity will guarantee him purses at the highest level for years to come.

Here we go! Jake is coming back again with his cherry picking fight. he has to fight Canelo instead of this bum. This is pure comedy when he fight someone who has not been fight for almost two years, and not pure boxer.

We are going to see metal jaw back in business this Xmas in Dubai in a fight against former 2-time Glory kickboxing champ Cedric Doumbe. What are your though on it? Guy is 34 only. 75-7 record in kickboxing, 7-1 in MMA and 1-0 in boxing. Does not look like an old guy in his late retirement 8 rounds in cruiserweight. Another rigged fight?

Anyway, just like what the above posts have been said, if it's kickboxing then I'll also pick Doumbe, but this is boxing that we are talking, and his record in pro boxing is 1-0 like what you shared. This is kind of a safe fight for Jake Paul to revive his career after that devastating loss to AJ. For me, it would be better if he will just face either Darren Till or Francis Ngannou, but he chose an unexperienced fighter... at least in boxing.

It's not a rigged fight if you will ask me, but it's more of a money fight, and for sure those die hard Jake Paul fans will waste their money just to watch him. If you're not a Jake Paul fan, I doubt you will spend time to watch this one.

Honestly, I doubt this fight can be taken seriously. The fighters are too different in both professional skill and health. Cedric Doumbe is a Cameroonian with a truly impressive track record in kickboxing: he's a two-time Glory welterweight champion with numerous title defenses. Yes, he's an MMA fighter with only one boxing bout, but I don't think that will dampen his momentum much. Also, let's not forget that Jake Paul suffered a serious injury—the aftermath of a knockout, with his jaw broken in two places. This makes me wonder what kind of sacrifices and health problems people make to make money. To me, Paul is more of a blogger who craves attention, spectacle, and media exposure.
