BazaarBayA crypto-native marketplace for digital goods, services, and physical itemsbazaarbay.io
Greetings BitcoinTalk,
I'm the solo developer behind
BazaarBay, and it's now live. The idea is simple: an all-in-one crypto-native marketplace with an eBay-style catalog — digital goods, freelance services, and physical products — built for people who'd rather transact in crypto.
What you can do on BazaarBay- Buy and sell across categories — digital goods, services, and physical items in one place
- Pay in crypto — currently accepting BTC, LTC, BCH, and DASH
Trust levelsEvery vendor and buyer earns a reputation score based on completed orders and weighted reviews, with penalties for lost disputes and cancellations. Scores map to five public levels:
Level
Newcomer
Verified
Trusted
Established
Elite
The goal is that you can see at a glance who has a track record and who's brand new.
Fees — up front- Transaction fee: 2.5% on completed orders
- Optional boosted listings for vendors who want more visibility
How escrow worksThe order lifecycle- Buyer pays an escrow invoice. Funds go to an escrow destination rather than straight to the vendor.
- Vendor fulfills. They ship the item, deliver the file, or complete the service.
- Buyer confirms. Funds are released to the vendor minus the 2.5% fee, and the completed order counts toward both the vendor's and buyer's trust scores.
- If something goes wrong, the buyer opens a dispute. Funds stay locked until it's resolved.
How disputes are resolvedAn admin reviews the case and can:
- Propose a resolution, which the buyer and vendor each accept or reject
- Release funds to the buyer's refund address
- Release funds to the vendor
- Split the funds between both parties
- Close the dispute with an outcome and notes
Looking for vendorsWe launched vendor-first. If you sell anything — digital products, design/dev/writing services, hardware, collectibles — I'd love to have you on board. Early vendors get a free boosted listing of their choice.
Feedback welcomeThis is an early-stage project and I'm building in the open. Bug reports, feature requests, and honest criticism are all welcome in this thread — I'll be answering questions here.
