Never use a password manager, this is very risky especially if you use a third party then indirectly this will be easy for other people to break especially now that hacking has started.
Password - just remember it with a strong word or write it on paper to make it more secure.
I myself do with memory maybe some easy passwords, while complex passwords are then written on paper.
I honestly think that nowadays a lot of people use password manager, I used both google and apple password manager because it's very convenient and allow us to have a really long and strong password without forgetting about it. I wonder if they're investing good money into their security infrastructure, I hope they do.
I personally never used dedicated password manager services offered by a company whose sole product is password manager though, it feels unsecure handing over password to third party company even if they encrypted the whole thing.
If I recall correctly, Google password manager have on-device encryption that encrypt the passwords behind device specific biometric that even Google themselves can't have access to.
As much as we gave warning that they shouldn't use any password manager, there could be a lot of them as we can see that there are a lot of password managers ever since the start of crypto boom and it's because it's very convenient for us not to remember anything, thus a password manager is a must.
However, with the rampant attacks on anything that is related to crypto, even a password manager is not a target. Even if Google has this kind of security though, we all know that there is this human element that might eventually the weak chain link and we become the next victim.
