Eth led the way then nvidia then BTC
Ethereum was launched in 2015, but your chart started in 2016. That is very funny. Why do you not face the reality and begin it from 2020? Ethereum that was unable to increase up to $100 after breaking all time high. I am reconsidering if I should invest in ethereum because the coin really disappointed people in the last bull run. It almost not made it to all time high.

ETH was meant to be the chosen prince, initially it was living up to the expectations but I agree with you looking back at all the potentials Eth had it actually did less than expected. Although if anyone is interested in Alt coins and I have to advice them I will tell them to go for safety, you can diversify, but ensure to hold some Eth together with few other altcoins.

Comparing Bitcoin with other cryptocurrencies often fails to yield useful insights. Since Bitcoin's launch its price has increased by almost a million times compared to its launch price. Imagine if someone had invested $1 they would have millions of dollars today. But ETH has only increased by a few thousand times compared to its launch price. if someone had bought $1 worth of ETH at the time of its launch it would only be worth $7k to $8k today. An old thing should only be compared with another old thing otherwise the results are baseless.

Why not start from the last bear cycle ? Else your comparison doesn't really count to me .
Also, it makes no sense to compare Bitcoin to metals or stocks, they are different. Go for the choices that you believe are the best for you, no one is going to stop it , it's your money and your profit. We will only tell you what we feel is best and for me it will always be Bitcoin but I'm definitely not trying to preach that anyone shouldn't diversify or do whatever the f they want.

ETH just led to the top just because that's the early stage of ETH, where the algo is still POW, but after it switches to POS, it rarely creates a new ATH.
Pretty bad about Gold for over 10 decades; there is nearly no improvement in the price. Is that true? It's supposed to be in a stable price pump but it shows only a slight profit. Now we can see that crypto is more capable of making you rich than investing in metals like silver or gold except Nvidia, and I think the reason why it pumps is due to AI.

That's not true about no improvement on the price of gold, since if you look at the graph over a decade on this asset https://www.goldrepublic.com/en-us/gold-price/past-10-years we can saw that there's an improvement happening in this asset. Although yeah the improvement is not the same with Bitcoin and ETH, but its normal on traditional finance to move that way. So aside from Bitcoin and ETH, Gold also proven to be a good asset to be added on our investment portfolio.

It almost not made it to all time high. While Ethereum might show a trace of growth, using it in the earlier years of when it was created, looking at more than 5 years ago, you will see it isn't necessarily worth it and it's a questionable gamble. So many news in thd past 5 years to aid it surge but still ETH hasn't broken it ATH. It is just there and looking at bitcoin and the market in general, after the last bull this actually makes ETH long term ROI questionable.

Yeah, I agree, but on the X link from the OP, that is what it shows how gold has performed in the last 10 years it seems his $100 only turns into $300 after 10 years. We know the price pump hard around 2023 until 2025; we see how it performs, but the OP link it will show you that it only gives you 3x of your investment. I never mention that gold isn't a good investment since it also has a stable price pump. Since in the past I preferred to have this asset as my physical accessory instead while holding it. Good to have it for at least 5 or more years and sell it when needed or if I want something in exchange. Crypto still can build wealth cycle repeats and more investors coming into crypto than the other assets in other markets and stocks.

I didn't say you mentioned about gold is not a good investment, all investors knows that Gold is one reliable investment option to choose. I'll take out the crypto word, since I don't want Bitcoin to be associated with several scams. But Bitcoin indeed can possible build wealth cycle, that's why its one of the best preferable coin to hold. Because many people knows or understand its potential.

Starting your race from 2016 is bit like cherry picking, lol So that you can take advantage of Ethereum's initial PoW explosion. Along with that, you have also managed to tap into NVDA's AI moonshot. But skipped ETH's full history and brutal drawdown.
Anyway your final numbers look so sexy. But you smartly ignored volatility and fact that most people won't sit through 70 to 80% crash without selling.

So that you can take advantage of Ethereum's initial PoW explosion.
When ethereum was using PoW, the coin was better than when it changed to PoS. When the PoS was about to be done (I intentionally do not use the term upgrade), people bought ethereum and its price rise, but I think after that time people prefer to stake on ethereum and get satisfied with the profit and no much investing in it like it was for PoW which caused it not to increase in price as we expected. My interest in the coin has reduced significantly.

Ethereum was launched in 2015, but your chart started in 2016. That is very funny. Why do you not face the reality and begin it from 2020? The problem isn't just that—taking 2016 as a starting point (if he had started it in 2010, Bitcoin would have beaten NVIDIA). The problem is also thinking that the next 10 years will be like the previous 10. Ethereum may be gone by then. In fact, the title is wrong; it should be: I made a race chart for 100$ investment during the past 10 years. Past performance is no guarantee of future results—that's a basic economic principle.

But Bitcoin indeed can possible build wealth cycle, that's why its one of the best preferable coin to hold. Because many people knows or understand its potential. Well, actually, the X link from the OP is right for over a decade. We see how gold performs, but it's just a graph that looks very bullish, but if you see from the start, he bought $100 in gold at the price of $1k+, that is why it only increased more than 3x because the price only pumped x4 or x5 from when he bought the price. Unlike crypto like Bitcoin and Ethereum, it's more than 5 to 10 times and sometimes 18x, like what I saw around 2016 to 2017. If I remember correctly, when the price of BTC was around hundreds, then the price hit at least $18k it was more than 20x if you bought it between March 2016, I guess. So compared to gold, we just see a huge pump, but in reality, if you measure the pump, it's not that high, similar to Bitcoin.

Well yeah, it's the peak of Ethereum I think since Bitcoin already have a high market price the possible profit for sure was just going to be low compared to other investment.
So for sure Ethereum was the right buy at that moment, but still difficult to predict if you are just dropping money on everything you might probably get lucky since you are going to still make profit, but going all in on one crypto like that was going to be pure luck for sure.
Either way it is still the best way to diversify and buy most of the asset just to see how every asset is going to turns out and you could still recover from other profits if other asset drops.
