AI forces people to adapt but I also think that just knowing how to use AI is not enough, it's only matter of time until companies releasing their full agentic AI assistant that could connect to everything. When that happens, people who know AI will also become redundant.
Yes, my thoughts exactly too; knowing how to use AI will still not be enough at some point because AI is a tech that is still in development, and if it is already posing this much threat, imagine the situation when they are now well developed and can do more things than they can do now. Humans who know how to use AI as assistants may be dropped from their roles because the AI can now do everything.
Although there are some jobs that AI will remain assistants to longer and may never be able to fully replace the humans who are in those job roles or have those skills. Some examples are plumbers, electricians, mechanics, and relationship-based businesses like marketing, etc., because to the first three I mentioned as examples, the unpredictable nature of challenges and of some environments must require human input even though AI can help with detecting the problem faster, while for relationship-based businesses, a seller-customer relationship is necessary, and it is easier to build that which a human that you know has emotions.
