Government has begin disbursement of 50k for poor and vulnerable Nigerians through NERSI (National Emergency Relief and Stabilisation Intervention) I don't even know the existence of this agency until now. No any action is needed from you, you don't have to apply for it. They have partner with online bankings like Opay, Momo, Moniepoint, ALAT (WEMA) and Nairagram to disburse the money to eligible citizens.

I don't have problem with this initiative if their intentions are genuine even though I have not benefited from it. My question is the timing of this is suspicious. They called it relief fund but I think it's election strategy. Since the removal of subsidy, people have been suffering but nothing was done since until when election is around the corner? If its truly a relief, it should have happen long ago and not just now.

It's true that this politicians no rate us at all. They know how money can suddenly change people and that's why they using the same pattern as usual to share money when election is around the corner so people can remember them during election. The 50k is not worth anything but it's everything for someone who doesn't have anything.

My advice is if you're eligible, collect the money but don't let it change your decision. Never allow the 50k to influence your choice of candidates in the forthcoming election.

Bola Ahmed Tinubu government is disbursing 50,000 Naira to some Nigerians just to buy the mind of Nigerians to vote for Tinubu in the upcoming presidential election, I'm not surprised with that because they have studied Nigerians and they know the 50,000 Naira will make some Nigerians forget all the suffering they passed through in the hands of Tinubu and make them to vote for Bola Ahmed Tinubu. If I'm selected to receive the 50, 000 Naira and I received it, I won't even vote for Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

Is it the narrative of the federal government to dial the codes you shared in order to be eligible for the 50,000 Naira relief funds? Some Nigerians will use this opportunity to scam people their hard earned money, so you have to be very sure any information you are sharing concerning how someone will receive the 50,000 Naira relief funds it should be authentic so that people won't give scammers access to their bank account.

Yesterday in our social cultural group, a friend among us in that social cultural group was saying something related to what you are saying right now, and when i first saw it, i thought it was a scam until my neighbors were discussing about the 50k that federal government has credited their opay account using the code above, then i gave it a second thought of trying it, and when i dialed the code, this is the massage that pop out is: This phone number is not on the NERSI list yet, Names are added in batches, if you are added, you will get an sms, NERSI Hotline 07000222222, i don't really know the plan of the federal government with this free money that I'm yet to qualify for it and mean while it is not everyone that is eligible for this offer, truly this upcoming 2027 election is the reason behind these.

Right from time, all these free stuffs doesn't move me so I will never give it a try no matter how many persons that confirmed the disbursement to those who are eligible. Election is around the corner and they want to use the name of relief funds to buy the votes of voters, it won't work this time again. If it's true that this payment is real then it means that the 2027 election will really be hard to rig because I have seen the efforts of the ruling party in trying to convince people to vote them in again, if they know that rigging will help them they wouldn't have been putting this so much effort in using different strategies to campaign for votes.

I won't even advice anyone on who to vote or not, everyone is feeling the heat from this government so if they want to experience more hardship in the next 4 years then they should vote them in again. If people no wan use their tongues count their teeth then e concern them.

It seem they are selecting people because I try mine and they say I am not eligible, Is there any criteria you must meet to be eligible? They should make it to reach everybody whose bank account is active rather than selecting some persons and leave majority of people left out.  They are lucky that I am not eligible, otherwise I would have eaten their money and still won't vote for Tinubu.  Nigerians have grown wiser, may be the government hasn't realise it yet.  Some Nigerians may happily vote for him because of the free stipends they've receive from the government but majority of people won't vote for him.  We are no longer moved by free naira notes to sell our votes, Nigerians wil vote Tinubu out of  power next year.

Nigerians are very quick to forget the sufferings and hunger that they have faced in the past three years of Tinubu's leadership once they see little money sent to them, what is going on now is a pure strategy for the upcoming elections and from this they are beginning to buy the heart of Nigerians to vote for them in the elections and I trust Nigerians they will equally forget their sorrow over the years and vote for APC if only they can sell their votes for 3 cups of rice then how much more when they receive 50 thousand naira. I fear for what will happen in 2027 if Tinubu continues.

All this fake relief funds Tinubu is giving out don't move me, if he likes he should pay us 200 thousand naira each, I will collect the money because it's our national cake and still vote for the candidate of my choice and I urge every Nigerian to do the same if we are truly tired of suffering and want change.

Will they be paying the 50k every month? This is shameless behavior from this administration. If you want to relief  suffering why not make it for everyone. Let it be those that don’t want it that will not dial the code. Are the selected people the ones suffering? Is Tinubu dogs eating 50k meal a week? My take on this 50k disbursement be say as long as na legit, if you dey opportuned to dey selected take am use am do anything you like but at the end of the day vote with your conscience. Because why e come be now wey we dey election season dem con bring out this grant.
