Do people really aim to be rich to show-off

What people consider as show off in most cases are not always aimed at showing off. There are basic life upgrades that happens naturally just the moment you become rich. Poor people call it show off but it's not same. A rich man can not live in a thatched house neither will a rich man be trekking round the street.

It baffles me how poor people always complain that rich people are showing off even when they just try living a natural lifestyle. A rich celebrity will always go with escorts and entourage. This is same thing poor people consider as show off and waste of funds. These rich people in most cases also give arms and do some community services, but any small enjoyment is still considered a show off followed by the blackmail, "The money for this car can feed the nation".

When these poor and wise and caring people finally make their own money, they won't help any body because they're poverty minded and they will continue to invest and invest and show greed in their dealings with the poor. Being rich is not easy so there's nothing wrong in living a good life which is not the same as show off.

Where did you get that idea? Also, not all who buy fancy things intend to show off. Maybe it is one of their dreams to have it. Few reasons why someone aims to be rich is to be able to afford things they can't have before. Some just want to become financially stable so they don't worry about bills.

Those you see who show off are most likely some models, content creators, etc. They do it, not just to brag, but it is part of their job. Some also buy expensive cars for status, to be able to connect with others who also have the same cars. So, not all who aim to be rich just want to show off. They have their own reasons.

I would say the ultimate aim of being wealthy does not lie in display and luxury but in freedom and peace of mind. People who seek to amass riches in order to display their wealth end up becoming the slaves of wealth. These people’s happiness is determined by their success according to the opinion of other's people.
On the other hand people who are rich even though living an ordinary lifestyle recognize the real essence of richness in securing the future of themselves and their family member. In my case, what I aspire to be is somebody with a good amount of money in my account but leading a very simple lifestyle. This is because it is through not having any need to prove anything to others that one acquires true freedom.

I don’t see anything wrong for someone who has worked so hard enough to enjoy the things they couldn’t afford while growing up. Showing off is one of the reasons why some people wants to get rich. I’ve seen people put some effort to maintain an image that they sometimes forget to build something meaningful behind it. Personally I think wealth should be able to give you options. You should be able to care for yourself and family, sort out necessary expenses, help others in need when you can and still be able to enjoy the result of your hard work without having to feel the need to prove anything to anybody.
Being wealthy and living a simple lifestyle doesn’t make you a better person. You can live in a mansion and still be generous, also you can be living a simple life and still be jealous.

Being rich is bad when he takes advantage of his wealth, shows his wealth to a poor person and annoys the poor with his wealth. Although being rich is not bad because he has earned money by putting in his hard work and time and that is his right, but showing it in such a way that someone else's heart is sad, then being rich is not good. You can show people that you are rich and how you have achieved this success, but if you use the same wealth to criticize people younger than you and make bad comments about your own and other people's previous poor lives, then this is not a good thing. According to me, a rich person is a person who helps people by earning money and spends it for his own comfort and does not break anyone's heart by doing so.

I really like what you said, because I have faced such a situation. However, it is very important to show people your position and also hold your financial status firmly. It should not happen that living such a luxurious life today does not cause financial pressure on yourself later.

When I was young, my uncles used to disrespect my parents a lot. Sometimes they would even say that your child will never be able to grow up. At that time, I understood everything. When I heard such insulting words from my own people, I automatically had a desire in my mind that I would show everyone that I have grown up. I am established today. I want to tell them that the person they once told me that he would not be able to grow up has grown up today. However, I never tell them anything, I can hear from the mouths of my neighbors what he does, how he earns so much money and thousands of such things. Today, I am truly showing everyone that I have grown up a lot and have become established.

Being wealthy is not a bad thing. While wealth or poverty can influence a person’s behavior, what truly matters is the ability to remain a good person in either circumstance. Being a good person is priceless, it is something that cannot be bought with money. That depends on the country and the location within too. In my country there is no discernable
look for being rich or poor, everyone kind of dresses to the same standard.

Its easy to see who belongs to the business class or working in an office, people who work in
the trades and then farmers.

I would be of the mindset that just because you look a certain way it doesnt necessarily mean
you are wealthy or poor.

I know people who look like they are wealthy but they also have a lot of debt in order to look like

With what I've noticed with the real rich and wealthy people, they are not there to impress people, they don't like showing off what they have proven to the world already. That's why they don't care if someone flaunts in front of them and that's not a big matter to them. They'll even be targeted by people who has bad intention in knowing them. Those who are showing off, they're probably proud of what they have become and it might be the first time for them to hold such money. But, as soon as they realized that it's only attracting bad energy, bad people and bad karma to them, they'll start to work in silence and continue to become rich just like the old traditional rich people does.

Rich is a big sign of influence. People who are rich tends to show off that is because they need the validation to continue to push there way for more wealth, they will rather want to control all the resources around them. Showing of us not a bad idea but it also trap one to come up as too loud.

I'd be honest with you, the real rich that I know in real life are not like that. They don't need validation from anybody because they're rich enough and proved themselves already. The status of those who are looking for the validation of other people and society are the social climbers, those fake wealthy or rich people. And showing off for me is a bad idea, you're only attracting evil eyes.

Rich people who have the ability to not display wealth in any form has mastered keeping to themselves private principles that guild their daily activities. Like you said they are all going to attract bad eyes and enemies who think you are the only one progressive among them there might be big consequences for this and also suspicious relationships that are fake just to participate in your wealth and that is very dangerous if you are always try to prove to people that you are wealthy. That is really a bad omen if you are trying to protect your wealth.

That's why the true rich people doesn't need to show off themselves and what they own. They are low profile, they want more privacy in their lives and so they don't want to brag what they have achieved, what they own and what's in their possession. Learning that is a big discipline from either their parents, mentors or from a devastating experience.

Money come with a lot of responsibilities and temptations, you need to be confident in order to be able to maintain your main lifestyle you were doing before you get rich. Some do change for good, while some distance themselves from their previous friends amidst looking for likeminded people, and in that process, many things are happening which involve good and bad.

As for the rich ones who can live poor, I think they will do well managing a country or even businesses, and will also be very patient people and less financially corrupt. It'll be much better to live or invest in countries, organizations or businesses run by such people since they are more likely to focus on wellbeing of people rather than to make as much money as possible to live selfishly/extravagantly.

People like that are very rare, I believe we have them but majority of rich young guys cannot be able to maintain that type of life, they will want to show off that they have the money which they call the enjoyment of wealth to them. People who can maintain to remain like they don’t have money are very wise, they invest in so many things while people think they don’t have money.

Old money do not necessarily show off their wealth because they do not have the need to prove themselves to anyone. New money however often fall into the trap of being too loud about their wealth, I believe they do so in a way to compensate for the years they didn’t have money. What they don’t realise is that showing off your wealth only attracts bad actors and people who just want to take from you. I’d rather be rich and live quietly than be in the spotlight. Of course that’s hard for most people in this generation to do because they are addicted to the allure of fame.

Sometimes I wonder if the person is showing off their wealth or if it's their way of expressing joy and enjoying their hard work. It could be that what we perceive and call showing off is envy. I admit that sometimes we are too quick to judge the happiness of others based on what we see at first glance.

Those who are not well trained at home by their parents and family members are the ones like to show off their wealth in the public and even their speak they have pride. Illiteracy can also cause that. We see those group of people most specifically with the fiat bank note era and now that everyone is digital and bitcoin is used massively and for the fear of hacking, everyone maintain some degree of privacy therefore showing off their wealth in the internet is limited to some extend.
