Ive also noticed a bit honest confusion regarding provably fair.
Satoshidice I believe was the first implementation of provably fair, prior to that sites such as minefeild and bitcoingamer offered what I call provable results.

I think I need to make a casino check list, I'll start work today on it for casino operators to review.


Briefly though, the concept of provably fair in a nutshell is:

Card Shuffling:

Casino provides hash (next deck + casino seed).
Player provides seed for deck shuffle.
Player already knows the hash BEFORE setting his seed which determines the outcome.

Casino provides hash of daily secret.
Player makes bet and sets his seed.
