- Gox surprises everyone with a revival under new management. Investors buy the company and lots of cheap BTC, then pay everyone off 100% - IRS ruling is overturned because it is impractical and this Texas senators bill passes - China news turns out as FUD, more regulation but no ban - Wall street money is pouring in Then all we need is a "bank holiday" of some sort or a similar event, maybe a Japanese bank this time, they are ripe. $10K is as likely as zero.  This sounds very likely. I'm gonna go put all my eggs in this basket |

the deeper the correction, the broader the base. the broader the base, the bigger the log function. It may take some time to get back on it's feet, but 10k < 1 year I say YES.

Who lifted it from $100 to $1200 in November? We have more people involved now so it could go to 10K with a little hype. I wouldn't write it off as impossible.
We need less hype and more practical application of the Bitcoin protocol. BTC would have a market cap of over $125 Billion if it reached a value of $10,000 per coin right now. |
