A pirate ship, treasure chest of Bitcoins, parrot, a bunch of sailor friends, and a one way ticket to whore island.

I'd settle for an easier, debt free life though.   Cheesy

Points for the Heinlein reference.
(although Gay was more a time/multiverse twister and the TARDIS surfs the time vortex)

I love Heinlein. I actually thought about painting 'Gay Deceiver' on my car at one point but was like ehhhhhh that might bring about undesired consequences... so instead I drive a Chevy Tardis

Bitcoin is not a true currency until the masses can buy food, shelter, transportation, and entertainment directly with bitcoins.

Definitely. Out of the five, for me especially food and transportation (big supermarkets and public transportation services) would be real breakthroughs.

But I think we are still years away from that...

it sounds like NECESSITIES (like gas, mortgage, groceries and insurance) rather than LUXURIES (movie tickets, video games, movies and computers)

maybe though if more BTC is spent on luxuries it will bring about the necessities.

For instance when CREDIT CARDS came out - the NECESSITIES were the LAST to accept them (grocery, mortgage, insurance)....the same with ONLINE BILL PAY - they are usually the last to follow.

I think the biggest challenge to BTC is the "buy and hold" mentality of most, rather than understanding the "current" flow that makes a "currency" something to be desired.

Have to check with bitpremier.com on how many of their luxury items have actually sold. I've had a piano listed on there since May 2013.

Traveling to all over the world by only bringing Bitcoin instead of keep exchanging our currency. Especially in the tourist spot.

It is really frustrating to keep counting the exchange rate to our own currency when we want to buy something to make sure not get cheated

I understand the hassle of exchanging and fees...but how would BTC help you to be sure you are not being cheated?

Strawberries in Plant City Florida during the beginning of the year are a penny for a dozen....yet in Montana during the same time, those strawberries are at a premium.

curry in India vs curry in Alaska

having a universal currency won't help you valuate goods and services IMO
