Great looking coins.

I can't help but say that there's no "a" in collectible and the collectors package you put together is a great complement to (as in "it completes") the original coins you offered. My first statement about your coins is a compliment.

Good luck with your sale.

hi, what's the gold content in the "gold" 25 btc coin?
iirc they are brass, gold plated.  the only gold coin from casascius was the 1000 btc 1 oz gold coin.
please specify.

also the blanks have the hologram stickers with address/priv key, please?

The 'gold' refers to the color. It is gold plated, but the value of that is negligible.

The blanks have no sticker on them at all, and that means no address or key.

I invite you to read the book about the coins linked in my signature Smiley

Interesting. In all my years, never knew there was contention with this word. Cant even find the usual differing spelling between UK and US (realise, colour, etc.), to be a reason. Hmmmm

I wish it were the case, but i haven't seen that stated elsewhere, unfortunately.  Sad

oh! i stand corrected. was quoting casascius, he took 40 "all silver" away from the batch to sell in time for holidays and the rest would get the b gold plated Sad if he provided those figures for the site then those are correct
Got the link for that?

Someone should just send Mike that link and have him verify the numbers.  I am sure he wouldn't mind it...he has to be proud of what he created.

not in the bookmarks, iirc it's from his thread where he introduced the silver 10 btc coins late 2011
Ok Thanks. I didnt find that reference when I searched through the original thread, but i found two other references.....

Looks like it was a 50/50 split, or very close to. What you do notice, is the demand for the intended 2013 10btc Silver coin to be released, which of course didn't happen.
This may answer why these attract such a premium, in addition to it becoming Mikes 'signature' choice.
