I remember some substantial arguments where Matt and others accused him of the child porn thing. That was after Goat hired Matt to work on a website for him. It's not necessarily about having the balls to speak your mind, but for business interests or to hype up your idea (or scam? ).

And yes, boasting about money at least on the first date/meeting isn't a good idea, but I know plenty of people who would mention it just because they think it might help woo them, but I'm sure in hindsight or at a later date they'll regret it.
