Problem of mint was not "high" rate of POS, but 70 billion of coins. Watch @ price of DOGE. Most people don't like gazzzillions of coins with low satoshi price, especially - traders.

That would only happen in those "forgotten wallets" situations. Can you imagine holding on to coins for a year? People don't even keep the same phone for a year!!

Yeah, Mint and ECC have way too many coins. Mining for a year 100% will be much same but lower rate as this two weeks mining POW, but mining on your desktop with your wallet. Should be interesting, following year drastic stablization of prices and preservation of wealth.

If community steps up like BC coin, and tagets asians with same ideas BC has done, this coin has all right things to make it move forward successfully.

I just wish most the people would stop looking at BTC prices and mining and dumping, or trading for BTC. Times have changed, and it's POS coins that will rule, with probably some X11 coins that might also do okay. LTC script clones and BTC are doomed with the energy overhead, and constant supply and year upon year of inflation.

So trade your gold coins for copper.

i am mining asiacoin since launch! today morning when i wake up i saw my 1 gpu is not showing in cgminer i have shutdown the system and checked my gpu and clean it ! but again when i start cgminer it's not working. The Gpu fan is moving and i can hear the sound in gpu that it's running ! can anyone please tell me what the hell is going on

You talk of Austrian school of monetary inflation, yet all coins have inflation, I.E POW mining coins creates coins
POS is different, as long as the POS % decreases over time, it's hard to call this "inflation"
more so of deflating or decreasing inflation with a finite total.
I personally prefer them with higher POS, not many coins do it, only one other is TEK,
which is arround alot longer than Blackcoin, Whitecoin and Asiacoin!
That said, a coin that mints daily is even more fun, like COMM, when you think of compound interest!
