Stupid post.  but why can't we have a site like SR 2.0 that isn't hidden behind the Deep web?

what are we hiding from really?

Might as well, .onion isn't saving many from getting persecuted for committing victimless crimes.

Yeah but its bloody hard to seize a .onion domain.  Unlike the regular web where the domain would be seized in under 2 seconds flat.

This and the servers would be immediately seized and shut down (or even worse, tapped and left running).
