Each block is stacked on top of the previous one. Adding another block to the top makes all lower blocks more difficult to remove: there is more "weight" above each block. A transaction in a block 6 blocks deep (6 confirmations) will be very difficult to remove.

Our team obtained many of the cryptocurrencies that were frozen on Cryptsy's servers when the exchange collapsed. The Luckycoin wallet.dat was among those recovered.

We are now in the process of giving these wallet files back to their respective communities. The wallet has not been inspected and it's unknown if it contains any coins. If you are a developer of this coin, or a longstanding community member, you can file a request for the wallet in this thread: https://www.gldtalk.org/index.php?topic=3789.0

Dear rapta, dear Luckycoin community,

yes I found too this website "https://www.CoinGather.com - Alternate Currency Exchange" rapta is offering.
It's very nice to have a site is still offering exchange for some cryptocurrencies were frozen on Cryptsy's servers when the exchange collapsed.

But I can't still find this coin over the "Cryptsy Community Relief Project" MicroGuy had posted.

In addition there is not much on CoinGather with Luckycoin even though Luckycoin network is healthy.

To get fast 4-7 alive connections you could write into your litecoin.conf e.g.:

We've had LuckyCoin listed for a long time.  As long as the network is healthy, we will continue to have it listed.  Thanks!

I would like to ask if this coin is still active? wallet downloadable and bounties available? Right now I cannot invest in the coin but would appreciate if you can point to any active bounties that this has.

Thank you for the basic information. Is there a step by step guide on how to start in Mining this coin? I am afraid my weakness is understanding and starting in mining coins. Hopefully you can help me teach how to mine.

Dear HEvangelista,

For Windows: look this message on twitter about reaper to use your graphic card because CPU isn't working well now with difficulty too high again.
https://twitter.com/changeworld2/status/882318133683515392

Maybe you should control temperature of GPU. For windows you could use HWMonitor:
http://www.cpuid.com/softwares/hwmonitor.html

The website to get the wallet I told already, here again:

Thank you for providing me the links. I took a peek to the twitter page of using reaper and I must admit it looks foreign to me (my first expectation is something like a tech manual with step by step procedures). I will read them and hopefully I will be able to mine my first crypto.

So what to do [I thought you are already a miner as Jr. Member  Wink]

1. Download and install the wallet
2. wait synchronisation (you could make the adds before like written in my posts above to get enough connections a little faster )

If you could make this replay and we can go the next step  Wink

I like the name of this coin, unfortunately it seems that devs abandoned this coin and it is dead?
Anyone have any contact or information to the dev team?  Smiley

No idea about the whereabouts of the dev team, but while monitoring the debug.log I do see messages from what looks to be the checkpoint-sync server; which only the dev would possess the private keys to.
The network marches forward at block height 1282261.

The network still lives.
Blocks have transactions in them, miners are minting them.

Get lucky - try some Luckycoin in 2018!

Is this coin still minable with CPU or GPU?  Are there any exchanges currently trading Luckycoin?

Yeah, you can CPU/GPU mine it right now.
There will need to be some renewed interest to get LKY listed again on exchanges.

Very well.  I like this project and this name and its history linked to dogecoin.  I am going to support this coin.

Stay tuned.  I will launch a small exchange soon, and Luckycoin is going to be first group of coins to be listed in the exchange together with Marinecoin and Marycoin.
I will post more detailed information in both here in this thread and in Marinecoin Forum.

So far my testing on luckycoin wallet looks good.  The blockchain is a bit more than 1GB size, it is big, but not too big as those doge/LTC.  There are lots of active mining activities by
LKY communities on PC probably.  it is amazing that communities continue to mine this coin even there is no exchange trading this coin.
