Actually Scrypt is a good algo for mining because the true purpose of this coin is to not waste energy.
Since the scrypt AISC is coming out. We will only need a small cost of energy to secure the network through mining.

MultiCoin is distributed differently from other coins. You are not getting any coin for mining like other coin.
You can only get  MultiCoin at the multipool here: http://multicoin.me/round and the pool is not launched yet.
But you should get your miners ready. The coin is launching in 3 hours.

Multicoin is launching soon. Get your miners ready. Use these informations to mine:

  • Stratum Server: stratum.multicoin.me
  • Stratum Port: 8888
  • Username: YOUR_MTC_ADDRESS
  • Password: ANY_PASSWORD
`
cgminer.exe --scrypt --no-submit-stale -o stratum+tcp://stratum.multicoin.me:8888 -u MULTICOIN_ADDRESS -p x

You did not answer the question: why blocks are increasing? Now 194 blocks. Who mines them?  Huh

People are solo mining the coins using the released wallet. You can get the wallet and solo-mine too but you won't get any coin for mining that way.

8 minutes before pool launch, get your miners ready.

sounds like scam to me to get huge hashrate mining on his multipool and never pays out.
