I was just thinking, we can still give Mintpal a try. We're number 7 on the voting list and there are 5 Mondays left which means that if we could manage to get into the top 5 by next Monday, we'd stand a good chance of getting listed.
I know it's a bit of a long shot at the rate we're going but it's worth a try. We should all keep voting for BCT on Mintpal.

An aside:

Take a look at this:

http://latium.cc/?a_aid=53c69178eb5b5

( yes it is a referral link )

A new POS coin with a very unusual distribution method:  i.e. Network Marketing...

( please use my referal link, or not )

The idea is to reward those who spread the word. ( it is FREE however )

The remain coins after the distribution period will be destroyed..

They are already on Bittrex... It took awhile but I see the wisdom in this... targeting network marketers to spread the coin...

Volume @ 47.35065633 BTC in the last 24 hours... get in now...

Yea that's not very professional from Allcoin, BCT trading should be live by now  Undecided
I just sent them a tweet and I'll tweet them again if I don't get a response. If they can't keep to their word, they're never going to be a trusted exchange.
Let's hope they make this right.

At the current difficulty the coin is not difficult to mine a few thousand or more a day with a 1GH+ rig.  I don't see much movement in price until the difficulty goes up or the block reward goes down.  There are obviously other factors.  I'm speaking to the mining aspect only.  I'm mining for the long term but if I were only mining for short term, a price that paid a little over the electric cost is what I would expect.

there are no visible plans or projects currently, apart from some very vague statements from Dev. If you scroll this topic few pages back, I asked the same question some time ago and we didn't have any noticeable progress since.

The only positive news I may share is that voting on Mintpal is quite stable (myself included), keeping BCT in the race for the remaining few places - till September 1st. Let's keep voting at Mintpal, but also let's have some more precise plans on where this coin should go.

the problem is, with such a low price, how do u get people to mine the coin?

Good question, I wish I wasn't such a noob at this and knew how to help to change that.  I'm looking long term but if a short term miner looks at this coin they will most likely pass since they might get lucky and break even after electricity costs.
