common SCAM

Even in the event that an attacker gains more than 50% of the network's computational power, only transactions sent by the attacker could be reversed or double-spent. The network would not be destroyed.

common SCAM

I don't know if I would say that, but it sounds pretty fishy to me.

Still fishy, wait to see what Bittrex has to say. Reading Be A Crypto Whales post, looks like they handed over the funds to @BitcoinPhilip & don't see how that's a hack. Very fishy, hard to believe anything revolving around crypto anymore without some kind of proof. People can say this & that, but it all comes down to hard evidence on what really happen. Now trading @ Bittrex when it clearly shows it's not active anymore, that is the real question I would like to know.

Agree, that's not a hack, they put some anonymous guy in control of their funds. No comment needed. Anyway it's their problem.
What I don't get is why SPC market is disabled on Bittrex:

Is it just because of unusual activity? Wasn't SPC meant to be delisted on 1 Aug?

Great to hear Dev, SaveCoin is just starting to be heard & recognized as a rare one of a kind coin. This is just the beginning, many roads ahead.

This site has invested BTC into SPC: http://beacryptowhale.com/
Not really sure what will happen with Bittrex though, but there are other good exchanges for SPC.

I was online watching bittrex as the transactions happened. SPC market was not offline at that time. It looks like someone bought up a bunch of savecoin and sold it to the victim account at a much higher price a few minutes later. .15 btc per save coin??? come on, no way that would be legit.

They probably had their 41 btc "fund" on bittrex for trading. Whether this is a scam or they really fell victim to a dishonest fund "manager" is anyones guess, but this has happened a few days ago with Mycoin. Since BTC withdrawal needs confirmation, you buy up a lot of cheap coins with another account and sell them back to the victim account at a much higher price, then withdraw the BTC, or buy something else that can be anonymized and withdraw that.

I haven't received any interest payments since August 4th and can't seem to find any reason for it.  Have the interest payments stopped?

That make sense. Otherwise why would anyone use stolen (?) BTC to buy SPC at such high price.

Works fine for me. Are you holding on exchange account or wallet?

Is it synced? You've got active connections?

Search your address in the payment history, it shows that the last interest payment was made today:

It says it is synced.  I do see the address in the payment history.  But now I see that the wallet has no active connections.  Maybe the nodes I have listed are outdated.  What should I be using?
