I've never quite understood why bearishness has to equal unpleasantness. Deranged bulls are merely a bit irritating. Many of their bearish counterparts seem to be drowning and spluttering in a cesspit of misanthropy. There are quite a few I can think of who've never, ever come up with a lighthearted post.

Bullish long term.  We have barely started in terms of adoption/integration.

Markets go both ways.
Everybody is correct eventually, but...
A majority of traders lose $$$$, and...
That leaves a lot for the winners.  Smiley

You also don't have to be one of the zealots that are totally convinced BTC will hit 1million USD, to be a "bull." If you bought at 400 and expect BTC to hit 1000 again, you are a bull in your own right.

I will have to find a "bull" to ride when the price gets to $10000.   Grin

if it reaches $10,000 is that a sign it will go higher, which I suppose is another way of saying is bitcoin destined to have an all or nothing (binary) outcome?

I think it is highly likely if it reaches $10,000 that it will go even higher.  But I will not be hodling all my coins that that point.  It will be time to spend a few.  Wink

Every thread I read seems to be full of dire predictions that bitcoin's best days are over. I can't help but think they're wrong simply due to the various startups working on all sorts of bitcoin developments. Anyone agree with me?

Of course.   And your perception is actual reality.  Because apparently unlike many in this sub-forum, you seem to be keeping aware of whats going on.

Listening to the Lets Talk Bitcoin podcast daily will graduate someone from a chart starting weak hand type, to an informed buy and holder with resolve that is based upon infrastructure.  Not price.

Yes.  The majority here is fixated on (mostly) useless TA and China Ban FUD.  There seems to be a complete lack of awareness of all of the positives going on in the background.
So why is every market following China's lead? From the onset of this rally from ~$100-150, every movement has been based on Chinese demand and developments in their market. So, with all these great advances to the fundamental BTC economy, why are we retracing to pre-Chinese influenced valuations? Fact is, if China explicitly banned BTC tomorrow, we'd be in the mid-200s within a few hours, if not faster. That move from ~$100 to mid-200 would account for the developments in the underlying BTC community. That's the harsh reality everyone better get used to.

I'm bullish I suspect I'm not alone at all.  Bitcoins best days are not over but don't expect things to happen over night and don't be surprised if the do ahaha.
