Why are people who actually received coins in the airdrop complaining?

Some of us have been on the original list since the beginning and haven't received any !!!!

We're just working out a couple kinks in the script program that hands the airdrop coins out. Should be up and running soon. And make sure to join the IRC, we have lots of giveaways planned there using our tipbot Smiley

Link to the IRC?

IRC channel is #BTCtalkcoin on freenode...

I talked to airdrop guy (Rawdawg) on IRC. For all the people who haven't received any coins, just come hop on #BTCtalkcoin on freenode. If you haven't received coins for the first round of the airdrop (which is supposed to be over now), come bother Rawdawg on IRC and he will send you.

Fuck IRC.  The dev should be talking to the community on the community forums not some chat client.  I thought BCCdev was no longer part of this and handed it over to this rawdawg? What is actually going on here?

*BCC has been handed over to NEW Managment, as well as the IPO, the AirDrop, and everything else

The amount of coins people are getting in low numbers has not been addressed and these devs are not forth coming with the information even though they have been asked for days now, still keeping the community in the dark.

I will ask again.  Why are the the numbers of coins given out so far less than half of what should be expected?  And why is it so random that some people get double payouts whilst others who signed up sooner get nothing at all?

My confidence in this coin and it's evasive devs is slowly weaning.  Don't think I wont keep hassling you rawdawg and BCCdev until you give us all a decent answer to valid concerns.  I know you have read all my posts and others comments from the community.

They in order to get maximum benefit, would rather hurt this coin.  Sad Huh

This coin went down the drain really fast. I've yet to receive my airdrop and I was on the original list as well as submitted my address to their "super script". This is such a cluster that no one should trust that the dev fairly distributed the coins. If this was legit they should have taken over the coin and completely redone the airdrop from scratch. Not this BS where they'll use one of the 3 methods which makes it impossible to track where the coins went.

Additionally, other than having the Bitcointalk name I haven't heard anything about any kind of innovation being added to the coin. This is another P&D coin until the devs prove otherwise and IMO it's probably too late.

From a half outsider/half insider, I can say that there isn't anything scammy going on. The devs that took over the initial coin, are really doing the best that they can with the information they recieved when they took over. The original dev had made a plan in public that is close to impossible to actually implement. I have been fighting with this shit for a while and its been a rough go. But I am going to do the best I can to get the job I was asked to do, done.

But thats just my opinion. If you look at my posts you will see that I am a huge asshole, but I also call people out that are doing shit that is wrong, or disrespectful. I wouldn't have anything to do with this coin/airdrop if I thought the people were going to scam the community. Anyways, thats my 2 cents. Back to working on the airdrop so you guys can have your free coins Tongue

I understand that you want to help out, but why do complicated when you can do simple...

There are only less than 1150 addresses to send the coins to. Here's a quick recipe that will take you less than 20 minutes to perform - not 5 days…

Set your BTCtalkcoin.conf:

Code:
listen=1
server=1
rpcpassword=XXXXX
rpcuser=YYYYY

1.  Download the official Google excel sheet.  There are only 1164 entries.
2.  Delete the doubles that are crossed-out or in red (no more than 20) - 5 minutes
3.  Insert a column before Column B
4.  in B1, paste:  "./BTCtalkcoind -rpcpassword=XXXXX sendtoaddress " (notice the space after sendtoaddress) - xxx is your rpcpassword set in BTCtalkcoin.conf file
5.  at Column D1 enter " "  (just one space)
6.  at Colum E1 enter the number "4870"  - 5 600 000 TALK divided by 1150 addresses = 4870 - there will be less than 1150 after your done with step 2 above - keep the change...
7.  Cut and paste B1 to the rest of Column B
8.  Cut and paste D1 to the rest of Column D
9.  Start your BTCtalkcoind:
Code:
./BTCtalkcoind -daemon -rpcpassword=XXXXX

10. Unlock the wallet:
Code:
./BTCtalkcoind -rpcpassword=XXXXX walletpassphrase=AAAAAA 9999999

Airdrop:
Now, copy from your modified Google excel sheet 100 addresses at a time, Excel sheet columns B to E, paste them on your terminal.
You really don’t have to - but if you want to test - start with the first  2 on the list…   I already tested the above and sent them 1 TALK each...

Wait until a new block is found - then, send another set of 100 addresses

Repeat 15 times.

The http://www.cryptoblox.com/chain/BTCTalkCoin website is a good place to look at blocks found - or use another computer with the QT running and check the blocks number.

… but in theory - you could send the 1150 transactions all at once - who cares really…

If some don’t make this block, the software will handle them to be incorporated in the next block.

If you need additional help - just PM me.

PS: Why do you keep moving the 5.6M airdrop address around?
Some scholars will tell you that you can use the "sendmany" command, with "wallet:amount, ..."  - yes, that is another method.

Why is the dev still trying to get an airdrop script to work when GiGa provided a simpler airdrop method?

The v1.5.0.0 version of the wallet works but as you can see the number off people who have not received coins by these dodgy devs is growing by the day.  I have seen far more people who have said they have not received coins than have.  And rawdawg said he sent out over 1100+ in no time at all?  please, I smell scam or an extremely dumb dev who either cant count or cant manage to do a simple airdrop.
