Facebook has banned ad of any cryptoz so how could it promote btcs?
Facebook is a free app then what is the necessity of accepting the bitcoin. Facebook is not an online site for shopping it is just a platform to connect people across the globe, just for entertainment and all. No need to pay for using the facebook, so no question of getting charged for using it, so it is just a false news.

All of this sounds very exciting, but it does not come without question marks. The first question Facebook should consider is: how many people are willing to put currency on Facebook? Whether true or not, Facebook is regarded by many people as a puppet of the NSA. There’s already so much of our data publicly available, adding financial information would be like putting out the final secrets of your life for every authority to know. Recent developments have shown that secrets do not exist anymore, especially on the internet. Facebook will have some serious convincing to do if it wants people to believe their money is safe with them. A second question, perhaps the most important one for the cryptocurrency world. Facebook talks about e-money, not about Bitcoin. Some people think Facebook has a different strategy in mind. Maybe more like Mpesa, the mobile-phone based money transfer and microfinancing service for Safaricom and Vodacom, the largest mobile network operators in Kenya and Tanzania. Or Facebook might launch its own cryptocurrency? That’s doubtful, since Bitcoin is the major one. Something like Facebook coin does not sound very promising but who knows…

It was just a rumors but maybe facebook accept bitcoin because many projects here like social media including facebook hat they were able to promote bitcoin or any altcoin. And i think there were no reason that facebook can hate bitcoin.

I think yes. Posting in facebook about bitcoin is another way of promoting bitcoin. Many people who joined the bounty campaign are joining the facebook campaign in order to promote altcoins and bitcoin also. Besides there is no reason that facebook will banned bitcoin.

Facebook has announced a ban on all advertising that promotes the use of cryptocurrency, including bitcoins, to prevent financial products and services that are linked to frequent, misleading and deceptive promotional practices.

This means that advertisers who are legitimate and legitimate businesses are not able to promote bitcoins and other encrypted currencies, short or binary options.

Just move on about facebook. They are not going to accept bitcoin. Mark Zuckerberg explained his interest about crypto.
And as he is done studying and learning about it, he want to ban bitcoin / ICO related ads.
What I think is he wants to join the market but by building his own token not with bitcoin.

I do not know about this news, but I think Facebook gets the benefit of some company programs that advertise within the Facebook community if it's not like that definitely Facebook will not accept bitcoin.

Facebook was founded by a large company that thrives in advanced mass communication now, while bitcoin is today's digital money that evolves as a virtual currency investment.

If Facebook gets big payouts from bitcoin definitely Facebook will go to share the development of bitcoin with branch companies bitcoin through the company Facebook.

So I do not think like the news you are delivering is only a news that is not necessarily the truth.

Hello all,
I hear of some rumors that Facebook is going to accept BTC in the near future Smiley Am i late with this news, or just misunderstand ?

BR,

Gondel
Maybe soon facebook gonna accept  bitcoin to because bitcoin now is going more popular and many people have already use and investing to bitcoin
These are still the rumours as no authentication of this news can be found on social media or the electronic media. Last thing between Facebook and crypto currency was when Facebook removed all kinds of ads related to the crypto currency and that was a good step for the crypto currency as a lot of misleading crypt currencies were being advertised on it. The possibility of Facebook accepting the bitcoin is very much because the ultimate aim of Facebook is to make the world digital and so is the aim of the bitcoin.

Facebook will push their facebook credits system - not bitcoin. They have already applied for licenses to be a Money Service Provider (MSB) in multiple US states, and are looking for an e-license in Europe. They are gunning for Western Union first - then will go after the banks - this is a centralised competitor for bitcoin not an adopter.

http://www.bloombergview.com/articles/2014-04-14/who-would-use-facebook-as-a-bank

I agree. It would help them and make them progress even more if they will pursue their own credit system. However, I think that Facebook also sees the legitimacy of the cryptocurrency market that is why it would not be too far off if they would really find a way to incorporate it in their system, but at the moment, I am not very sure because, just recently, Facebook mentioned of banning posts from bounty programs, specifically social media campaign postings in their platform. Well, in the end, everything has a possibility in the cryptocurrency market, and if Facebook sees that it can help them, then they can implement the use Bitcoin as they please.

Now not, but in the future? Who knows? In my opinion, I think, that it's possible, we just need to wait some time.

should Facebook enter the market, Alvarez hinted it could beneficial at removing the stigma associated with adding monetary services to social networks, which could be a larger win for the bitcoin industry.

But I do not think that will happen.

Maybe but very little chance of having bitcoin part of such a successful website like facebook because on what I've read Mark doesn't want the idea, so it means it's really hard for bitcoin to make a way to facebook. Maybe if bitcoin develop more and continue rising in the next years, there would be a possibility. So as of now don't expect to much from that and just enjoy what's bitcoin giving to us.
