Yes, you can use the new 'richrank' API, syntax is

https://chainz.cryptoid.info/cointag/api.dws?q=richrank&a=addresstolookup

It will return the rank with 1 for the richest. If the address is not known or is empty, the reply will be 'null'

I don’t get what this service is for. Can someone explain it in simple English. Without using much technological slang?

I think this is like coinmarketcap but not for cryptocurrencies /coins but for blockchain related stuff is that correct?
If so isn’t blockchains correlated with coins anyway? What would be the difference then?
