It's about keeping promises and stablizing prices as well as investor confidence. If you say a wallet is going to be released by this weekend, and then tuesday rolls around with nothing, a lot of panicky investors are going to start dumping and destroy the price yet again, which jeopardizes the rep of the coin, no matter how good the coin may be. Yea a majority of us are holding for long term, but the long term is just a bunch of these short term releases and price jumps. Price stability is important to the longevity of the coin imho.
the update will not change the price let them take their time to fix bugs. they said it is a bug fix update anyway with some features like invoicing and receipts. why the need to rush that? "investor confidence" : investors already confident because of the encrypted messaging wallet. this update will not change a thing. it does not matter if they release it today or next week. it will not change the price. the time the update is released will not change the price. other things change the price. Nobody said we're rushing them, I just gave you the reason why a release is important, simply because it was promised on a due date. Prices will change, they will go up, and in the slight chance they dont, they will at least stabilize. And you'd be a fool to think investors are confident in the current market. The price was higher 2 weeks ago after the announcement of the EM wallet than it is now, after EM was released. What does that tell you? It tells me people don't realize the significance of the EM feature and are too busy panic selling to greedy whales..because they are not confident enough to hold. |

I am there with you on this one. I have programming background and work in quality assurance and bug testing long time ago. Dev should not be saying it will be released, unless they are 1000% sure. You dont give ETA without working product. Once you have the product, you give the ETA. In the mean time, you do bug testing and see if it does any effect in the network. Does it do anything it should not be doing? It has been long time, since I was a programmer. Shifted to networking side. I was not the greatest coder anyways. I wish I had recent experiences in quality assurance and up to date with todays programming world. So I could offer my skill to the devs. It has been 9 years since I coded my last software in C++. |

You dont give ETA without working product. Once you have the product, you give the ETA. In the mean time, you do bug testing and see if it does any effect in the network. Hold! It's not the best coin to swing trade and it's not a pump and dump coin. Great coin to diversify long term, (same I'm doing with Cloak). Both have a good future imho. |

Hey Folks, stop being so negative and focus on what's not perfect. If so called investors start to chicken they are just ridiculous, because honestly, the dev team is working extremely hard in comparaison to the others coin, and i wonder if you realize that they always deliver? They said a couple hours, it's gonna be released soon. If you want a part of the pie, you better accept the coin how it is or try to make it better on your own. Now yes, the price is pretty pathetic, but do we need to remind the people here that some whale is having fun suppressing it? Once all the huge promised features will be released (retail, anon) , CINNI will skyrocket, and the whale won't be able to hold the price down, unless it's Satoshi. |

The coin is nearly perfect and the devolopment of new features also. There is a lot of speculation and manupulation in this communitie. 50% good people 50% bad people But maybe that is the force of the coin. More social behavior I would appreciate. This coin is to special to dump, this coin can speak with encrypted messages. Maybe an idea to harness that power of Cinni more. |
