What does the EM in "First EM Coin" stand for?
Encrypted Messaging

It is a good feature but I'm afraid Cinni isn't the first. As mentioned previously, Offspring has had encrypted messaging since 31st March. See the github repository here: https://github.com/incentivetoken/offspring/releases

You can also check the message explorer to see the encrypted messages being sent since then.
on cinni's encrypted messaging platform you can send anon encrypted messages

Cinni also doesn't use the NXT asset exchange, or the blockchain to send messages, meaning the messages can't be traced back to anyone Smiley
Also we dont keep a record of messages, they are just there for 48 hours then gone.

You do have the ability to keep ur messages in the inbox and outbox db's, these are separate to the message bucket dbs, and you can also export them.

Where are the messages stored and transferred if not through the blockchain?

Cinni is actually the first POS coin to bring such a feature, besides who cares about the other coin and its older features and bugger all trade volume..... even cinni with lower market cap has more trade volume then the "other" coin...... Cinni is far superiour Cheesy

What 'other' coin are you referring to? From what you have said, it is a different to the one that runs Offspring.

Hey bendy, this is a "feature" which we are busy fixing. I've been holding coins now for 2 days in my wallet, as I have been in development for 2 weeks, so I will only be able to start staking tomorrow.
Until then I can't actually trace this.
We intend to release this fix with the next wallet update over the weekend.
Temp fix a:
- Backup wallet.dat (in %APPDATA/cinnicoin)
- Clear that folder except wallet.dat
- restart wallet
if that doesn't work, u would need to do is either use a backup of ur wallet.dat prior to those transactions, which will then correct ur balances, or export ur private keys, backup wallet.dat, remove it from the appdata directory, then import the private keys into the new wallet, which will then correct the balances

We've implemented a whole new bucket system which has its own PoW, which uses xxhash, so minimal resources... the reason we use PoW, is to prevent spam, so that if people start spamming, their difficulty will get higher and higher, and the messages will send slower, and slower, and they will eventually be marked as misbehaving and get banned from the network by peers for 24 hours.

I honestly have high hopes for this coin.. in 12 days I pulled 4 all nighters, and on nights that I did sleep, it was minimal.
We have been working hard to get this out, and are continuing to work hard, as we are all sold on the vision of the coin.

There really are some great thinkers in our team, and everyone is really passionate.
We do have a long road ahead of us, but its those milestones that keep us going, and obviously some pushing from the community.

We will release the invoicing/receipting sometime in through the course of the weekend, also now that its live, we've noticed a few little things in the network that we can approve upon.

Thanks for sticking around guys, and we are only going to move forward/upwards from here Smiley
Hey man!  Sorry I haven't been on IRC much (I've been trying to save my marriage) but I'll sneak on for a bit from work today.  Amazing work you've gotten done so far, I knew had potential the first time I talked to you on IRC. Smiley
Amazing job thus far.

Thanks man! U gotta save ur marriage! Smiley

Be patient. It's hard to see a coin to be back on uptrend after a huge pump and dump. Cinnni will break the rule but takes more time before we reach new high

Interesting, how does the bucket system work?

The buckets are time buckets, similar to blocks, except we are not using merkle trees, which contain the messages. This way we have less overhead than checking down the merkle trees, instead we just match the hashes and id's of the time bucket headers, and sync them between the nodes.

Encrypted Messaging

Hey. Thanks for a great job. I do not understand how to send encrypted messages

Yep, how to get public key?
If the public key is in the blockchain then it would automaticly enter the public key

if you're sending to a new address with no transactions in the blockchain then you need to ask for his public key to send a message.

try sending me a message to my address JdTF9LJD6gmnGcxsUwQrQYXCXa3ohY1y6u

if your wallet messaging not synced use  -smsgscanchain  to scan the block chain for public key addresses on startup

I don't  still understand how to get public kay ???Can you explain this again ?
Maybe can you give simple instruction or someone else from devs team "how to send encrypted and/or anonymous message" for me and another people who have a problem with that? Many people don't know how to use it. I think this will be very good idea...Thanks for help...
