Been a while since I haven't seen all the noobs cheering with the usual "to the moon", "10000 by July" and other forms of insanity. Great expectations bring only great disappointments. And reality seems to confirm my sayings: no rally this time kids.

Nothing fundamental changed. No new adopters, no new money, no nothing. So anything more than 1000 is a wet dream or illusion. It won't happen.

And advice to the newcomers: Holding is easy. Don't try to prove me contrary. It's easy to buy now and hope for a 100-fold price and get rich only by watching the price. But trading, that's hard, that's what's the real shit. That's where most people loose. So, advice, don't sell your houses or take loans for bitcoin. You'll get the same price for the rest of the year at least.

Go to the rpetelia thread and you will see the latest projection for $200,000 by September.

I still think the "wall street money" will be coming in later this year so I think price should at least get back to $1000.

One day it's the bears making bold predictions and the next day it's the bulls. I tend to look at the general sentiment but don't really pay much attention to the numbers. I think we may see another drop in price when most people least expect it.

Rather a $100 increase and a $50 pullback than a $500 increase where everyone is itchy.

This BS post comes from a hero member? are you having a bad day, lost money at day trading?
You place youreself in the same spot of ''Noobs cheering''. Sorry that you hoped for a 10k this month, right?
Do you read Coindesk? Bitpay got a new EU HQ in Amsterdam and they expecting a 35k merchants this year, now 7k. New exchanges world wide, Wallstreet, new software, ATM's etc are all inc.

You are so miss-informed, and no i dont think BTC will hit 100k but it will get over 1k this year.

The projection where you wrote: This is legit TA. $250,000 by September confirmed. I suppose it was sarcasm...

But no, the market will now enter the last leg of wave C. In 2011, it dropped from 12$ to 2$, but now it's not that bearish.
Based on interpolation with 2011, my calculation results in a bottom of wave C in the ballpark of 120$.

Sometimes, if it looks too bullish, it's actually bearish

You are so miss-informed.

A high postcount/activity doesn't automatically lend authority.

Likewise, not all noobs are clueless.

By the end of next month at the latest we will have permanently left behind 3 digits. You can quote me on this.

Holding is not easy.

Not at first, but after you see Bitcoin being Bitcoin long enough it becomes a lot easier and far less stressful.

HODLing becomes easier after a while. For me bitcoin <$100 will still allow me to get my money out because of the long hodl.
If you bought at $1000 then HODLing is more of an art. Get pissed and hope for the best Smiley

When you buy Bitcoin, it's because, after having done enough research, you're able to see what value it has, how much it has the potential to transform the international economy in a very positive way that favours individuals rather than overpowered governments and banks.

It is unwise to let Bitcoin's opponnents and market manipulators make you have irrational doubts about your initial reasoning on the value and potential of cryptocurrenies.

Those who find the inevitable price movements stressful would do well to put their coins in cold storage and forget about them. I, for one, find it is a very exciting rollercoaster.
