I don't know how much successful they can be, when the Russia’s Prosecutor General has issued the following statement:
Systems for anonymous payments and cyber currencies that have gained considerable circulation — including the most well-known, Bitcoin — are money substitutes and cannot be used by individuals or legal entities.
As I've heard, in Russia things are always changing, day after day, so I suppose that we can make any conclusion only in a long-term. Also there is Bitcoin Conference in Russia on 23th April, sp I don't think that everything is so bad as we use to think.
