Well you can create online wallet at blockchain.info and import your BTCs over there for example.

But I recommend to wait until Core is sync. and then use your bitcoin Smiley

Either use a BC wallet or if you don't want to keep the coins online download a wallet like mycelium that doesn't download the blockchain.

Yes indeed - mycelium will not download whole blockchain to work.
You can use it too instead of Blockchain.info.

Did you really need to repeat what he just said?

And will I be able to just put my wallet.dat in it? And Mycelium is for android which I don't have. Is there a way to convert wallet.dat to text and put it on blockhain? Because I cant seem to import the file into blockchain.info.

You may want to download the bootstrap torrent instead of waiting for Bitcoin-Qt to sync normally, which would boost your download speed a bit and get it working more quickly. You could also try using Electrum, since it doesn't need to download the blockchain, but I still recommend using the Satoshi client for additional security.

You can import your wallet.dat to blockchain.info here. https://blockchain.info/wallet/import-wallet
You can export your private key to any wallets as well.

Yes, just re-synch it. And get Electrum like Dare said.
