Because the betting works very well there with older browser like IE 8.0. I tried few other betting sites in IE 8.0, but never fully working. I will not give lower score to these sites, but they should think how to reduce fancy stuff and make it compatible for older browsers

I just used direct bet and although I lost my bet I was really happy that I didn't have to go through any nonsense of making an account, depositing, etc, etc, etc.  I really like the system where you can simply bet by sending to an address and then auto-payout if you win.

My betting on directbet.eu is flawless. I don't have to create any accounts. They will ask you for your bitcoin address and they will give you the deposit address. After my bet win the payment was instantly transferred to my bitcoin address.

Right around the time I started looking for a BTC book, I came across this thread. After seeing the positive reviews for this site, I decided to give it a try. Now, this is my preferred bitcoin book by far (and is slowly transitioning on becoming my second book overall). It offers many nice features, while at the same time offering anonymous betting.

They offer a lot of options for many of the popular events (like SNF/MNF), and they also offer at least the basic lines for many of the major games. On top of that, you can negotiate odds, settlements are quick, all while linking only a BTC payout address.

As for offered odds, they are very close to Vegas odds, and for those few times that the offered odds aren't, they are fine with arbitrage betting (I haven't had my bet rejected when I took an arbitrage opportunity).

Best of all, the process is so, so, so, painless. It really is no muss, no fuss, no hassles.

I highly recommend DirectBet.eu as either a supplementary book or a primary book.

DirectBet - 4,3 (biased review)

Site is nice and all, but i have some specific grudges -

1) no e-sports - this is my main focus @betting

2) the "direct bet" feature when you use your btc address directly instead of having an account has its advantages. But when you need to place like 10-20 straight bets - it can be somewhat annoying for sure.

So overall interface could be improved, other than that, and not having e-sports, i have no complaints.

Their live betting feature is great and almost all matches are listed, instant deposits/withdrawals (well no deposits/withdrawals but you get what I mean). Plenty of matches listed and variety of props for most of them.

good odds, Interference , instant deposits and withdrawals with just 1 confirmation, a very wide range of games, Teasers. the only annoying thing is no live betting (and they were promising to add it from a long long time). Support replied to most of my tickets within minutes.

Good odds -haven't compared but they appear to have one of the best odds in bitcoin sportbooks in NBA, NCAA- , Nice graphics, option to send bet instantly after settlement to a bitcoin address, A VERY big list of games.
the disadvantages being small max bet and few small glitches. They are also very new.

Anonibet *2.5
decent odds, good live section with good options but non-instant withdrawals (one of the few bitcoin casino's that have this actually, if there are advantages to bitcoin gambling the no-wait withdrawals are one of them, anonibet don't agree to that though
-Some important matches aren't listed- Yesterday I couldn't find any college basketball games even at such a big day, everyone has some of those at least but none were offered at anonibet.
-support isn't top-notch imho, I had a single issue with double placed bets etc... and wasn't satisfied in the end, can understand their response but took a week to get it in my e-mail...
